The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland released a legal opinion that defends the practice of female genital mutilation, saying the benefits far outweigh the negatives and that it’s akin to male circumcision.
These are all lies, of course.
And the idea of anyone defending FGM, a barbaric practice that has no health benefits at all, only shows the savagery of the defender.

The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland (IZRS) has defended the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM), claiming that Islamic law justifies the practice.
The organisation released an “Islamic legal opinion” this week arguing that a form of so-called “female circumcision”, involving the removal of parts of the genitals, is justified, Swiss newspaper Tages Anzeiger reports.
IZRS Secretary-General Ferah Uluca said that while the paper justifies the practice, it does not call on Muslims to perform it as a duty. Ulucay said it is up to each parent to decide, but the paper does claim the practice is not harmful to the girl involved.
The paper also uses a United Nations Population Fund report to back its argument comparing FGM to male circumcision — but the report cited states that the health consequences of male and female circumcision are much different.
The “Sunna circumcision” is classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as Type 1 FGM which involves either the removal of the clitoral hood (prepuce) only (Type 1a) or the removal of the clitoris with the prepuce (Type 1b).
FGM has been illegal in Switzerland since 2012 and those found to practice any form of it are liable to be imprisoned for up to ten years.
Many advocates for FGM justify the process as “female circumcision”, claiming that it is separate from FGM. One such Islamic scholar, Irish Muslim leader Ali Selim, made this argument earlier this month saying: “I’m not an advocate of female genital mutilation but I am an advocate of female circumcision.”
The United Nations and the WHO make no distinction between various forms of female circumcision, labelling them all FGM.
Cases of FGM have skyrocketed across Europe due to mass migration policies with the UK seeing 5,000 cases in 2016 but no prosecutions, despite it being illegal.
In France, a recent report from an anti-FGM charity claimed that up to 30 per cent of the girls living in Paris’s heavily migrant-populated suburbs were at risk of FGM.
The prevalence of FGM has not been limited to Europe either, with more and more cases being seen in Canada as well.

I may be wrong, but seems to me they do not wish women to feel pleasure during sexual activity, so the women will be more chaste and not want sex? So why would God have created women with ability to experience sexual feelings but then, like I said, I don’t care what is done in other countries, just keep it out of our secular countries. I am shocked at the feminists and their lack of support.

Female genital mutilation (FGM) is not at all like male circumcision. Not only is the capacity for sexual pleasure destroyed, complications are routine and include bleeding, painful urination, cysts, dangerous and recurrent bladder and urinary tract infections, the growth of scar tissue that make marital intercourse a nightmare and that turns childbirth into an experience of danger and torture.
It also increases the likelihood of newborn deaths. In addition, some girls and women develop fistulas and become incontinent. They are doomed to defecate and urinate without control. Absent effective surgery, this is a life-long condition which leads to a woman being shunned by her family.
And then there is a life-long post-traumatic stress disorder that normally accompanies the experience of having been forced into such suffering, usually by your mother or grandmother, and traditionally, at the hands of a female butcher.
Whether FGM is understood to be a religious or a tribal custom, like polygamy, child marriage, normalized daughter-and-wife battering, incest, and human sacrifice aka “honor killing,” it has no place in the West.
Those who choose to live here should obey our laws; the freedoms for which we have fought should extend to all Americans, not only to some.

TUESDAY, Dec. 2, 2014 (HealthDay News) — U.S. health officials are poised to endorse circumcision as a means of preventing HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday released its first-ever draft guidelines on circumcision that recommend that doctors counsel parents and uncircumcised males on the health benefits of the procedure.
The guidelines do not outright call for circumcision of all male newborns, since that is a personal decision that may involve religious or cultural preferences, Dr. Jonathan Mermin, director of the CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention, told the Associated Press.
But “the scientific evidence is clear that the benefits outweigh the risks,” Mermin said.
Male Circumcision involves the surgical removal of the foreskin covering the tip of the penis. Germs can collect and multiply under the foreskin, creating issues of hygiene.
Clinical trials, many done in sub-Saharan Africa, have demonstrated that male circumcision reduces HIV infection risk by 50 percent to 60 percent, the CDC guidelines note. The procedure also reduces by 30 percent the risk of contracting herpes and human papilloma virus (HPV), two pathogens believed to cause cancer of the penis.
The guidelines do point out that male circumcision has only been proven to prevent HIV and sexually transmitted diseases in men during vaginal sex. The procedure has not been proven to reduce the risk of infection through oral or anal sex, or to reduce the risk of HIV transmission to female partners.
Male circumcision does reduce the risk of urinary tract infections in infants, according to the CDC guidelines.

It is not the same thing as male circumcision. Not at all. Anyway, I thought that culture does not have their males circumcised?
What people do in their own lands is not my concern, I may not agree with their customs or I may be appalled by them, but not my concern. The problems occur, yes they do, when people from different cultures come to host countries, and insist that they be allowed to practice their customs. Some governments didn’t think of that, did they? Yea, they did, but they could care less, the burdens they placed on their hapless, unsuspecting, brainwashed indigent citizens. Citizens who are depressed, and have turned to drugs, while working their lives away supporting the insane schemes of the progressives. I can’t even understand what they are doing, or what they hope to achieve. Do they know what they want? Look back from the sixties and see what they have ushered in. The immigration reforms from the sixties have really caused dissension and conflict. Thank you TK.

The leaders of W Europe, and other similar countries have really let all of us down, or so it seems to me, from what I read and have noted.
