The Malay Mail Online reported Thursday that “religious enforcers had raided Mohd Ezra Mohd Zaid’s publishing company ZI Publications Sdn Bhd for publishing a book with ‘confusing’ content that allegedly went against Islamic teachings, the Shariah court was told today.” The offending book went against Islamic teachings for stating a principle that most Americans who haven’t read the Qur’an assume is part of the teachings of Islam: “God is love.”
Sulastri Ishak of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department in Malaysia explained to the Sharia court that authorities moved against the publishing company because of a report that the department had received about the offending book: “The report is related to the content of the book written by Irshad Manji that has elements contrary to Islamic faith and laws.” The Selangor Islamic Religious Department seized 180 copies of the book when they raided the publishing house.
Wait a minute. Isn’t Malaysia supposed to be “moderate”? And isn’t Irshad Manji a leading “moderate” Muslim writer?

Irshad Manji has not been much heard from in recent years, but about ten or twelve years ago she was the Moderate Muslim Du Jour (a position since occupied by luminaries including Zuhdi Jasser and Maajid Nawaz), a hip young spiky-haired smiling lesbian Muslim who opposed the terrorists who had hijacked her peaceful religion, showed that Islam wasn’t all bin Laden and Mohamed Atta and the scowling Khomeini, attacked “Islamophobes” like that “right-winger” Robert Spencer to prove her Islamic bona fides, and gave the world the message that it was cool to be Muslim, and that Islam properly understood was the coolest thing of all.
The book by Manji, as published by Mohd Ezra Mohd Zaid’s publishing company, was entitled Allah, Kebebasan dan Cinta – that is, Allah, Liberty and Love. For publishing it, Zaid faces a $765 fine, two years in prison, or both.
What is so bad about this book? Sulastri Ishak explained: “Among the content suspected of being dubious is regarding the word ‘Allah’ that the writer claims refers to an Arabic word for God where the writer meant that God is love and liberty to be shared by everyone.”
Allah is a God who is love and liberty to be shared by everyone? Can’t have that! Blasphemy! Jail this man!
Why don’t we see more genuine Islamic reform? This story illustrates one reason why. It’s an interesting spectacle: in the West, Irshad Manji makes a comfortable living traveling around and speaking to non-Muslim audiences about how true Islam is not the Islam of jihad terrorists, but is all about liberty and love and tolerance and peace. Meanwhile, back in Malaysia, a Muslim country that has long been renowned for its “moderation,” her writings about Islam have landed her Malaysian publisher in Sharia court for their “un-Islamic” content, which turns out to be precisely the things that she is telling eager audiences in the West about Islam.
So apparently it is not just those Muslims who scream “Allahu akbar” while murdering people who misunderstand their religion, which is actually all warm and fuzzy at its core, if only it were properly understood. It’s also the Islamic authorities in “moderate” Malaysia, who have found Ezra Zaid worthy of being tried for the crime of propagating the idea that Allah is love and liberty. Apparently as far as they’re concerned, Allah is not love and liberty, but hatred and slavery.
Perhaps Irshad Manji herself should return to Malaysia, where she spoke amid immense controversy and under heavy guard a few years ago, and explain to the authorities who are trying Ezra Zaid that they are misunderstanding their religion of peace and tolerance. But considering that a member of her entourage was assaulted and sent to a hospital in neighboring Indonesia during that last book tour, and that Malaysia has only grown less “moderate” in the intervening years, she might find such a trip to be dangerous in the extreme.
Why is the misunderstanding of this cuddly religion so widespread, such that even Manji’s attempts to set straight Muslims who misunderstand their own faith end up getting people attacked and put on trial? It’s a mystery that even the great Manji herself has not yet explained.

There is no love in islam except the violently enforced acceptance of islam. Note that in the qur’an the concept of love between the creator and creation is not mentioned, only the merciless inhuman punishments that await those who do not lie, murder, rape and steal among other things, all of which are said by the demon profit to bring the minions of hell, muslims, closer to the demon on islam.

I have heard, in personal, one on one conversations, two Moslem men positively snear at the power of love, which figures so prominently in Christianity and, perhaps to a lessor, but still significant extent, in Judaism. Both of theses comments in fact were made as they heaped derision on Christianity. One of the reasons they held Christianity in such low regard is in the centrality of love to Christianity.
A nation that derives from the Judeo-Christian tradition should be very cautious about allowing people beholden to Islam to immigrate into the country. But those Americans who voted for Obama are too unaware, or just too stupid, to know this.

The demon muslims worship out of fear with in this life and the afterlife, is the epitome of evil. This creature creates only to destroy, has no plan for salvation of all humanity.
Whatever good or bad a man does was written fifty thousand years (a long time) before the creation of the heavens and earth. So if a man does a bad deed, let him offer his repentance and seek forgiveness from Allah. Once he has offered his repentance, there is no justification to blame him for the deed in question done by him. (At-Tirmidhi, Volume 4, pp. 197-198; underline emphasis ours)
Adam doesn’t deny that his sin caused his descendants to be cast out of heaven, but puts the blame squarely on Allah since he had already foreordained Adam’s fall before creating the heavens and earths!
The Dilemma
Now that we have examined what the Islamic corpus teaches concerning Allah’s preordainment of all things and man’s responsibility to follow the guidance it is apparent that the Muslims are faced with a major problem. They have a huge dilemma on their hands since the Islamic teaching concerning predestination and human “choice” is a contradiction which cannot be reconciled.
In light of what Islam teaches the obvious questions to ask are, how can a person believe in the message at all if Allah doesn’t will it for him/her? What choice does man really have when Allah creates even his very desires, words and actions beforehand? And how can people be condemned for their unbelief when Allah has created them for disbelief and has chosen to send them to hell before creation itself?
Moreover, why command Muslims to fight and kill idolators and/or subjugate the People of the Book for not believing in Allah’s message when these individuals were created to be what they are, whether Jews, Christians, Hindus etc., and cannot turn to Islam even if they wanted to? And if any members of these religious communities do convert it is because s/he was predestined to do so which means that coercion, violence and the threat of death are unnecessary and should not be used as means to bring people to Islam.
Finally, why kill apostates when those who turn away from Muhammad’s religion were predestined to do so and cannot choose to do otherwise? Are we to assume that it is just for Allah to not only decree that many individuals would turn renegades but also command that Islamic societies where shariah is implemented to kill these persons for doing exactly what Allah decided they would inevitably do even before they were created? As Muhammad is reported to have said concerning Adam’s supposed response to Moses when the latter confronted the father of the human race for causing all of mankind to be expelled from paradise: Do you blame these apostates for doing something which Allah decreed even before creating the heavens and the earths?

How dare that Muzzie hijack “God is love?” That is a well-known Christian tenet. Sometimes it takes a lot of reading of the “Gospels” to grasp.But then you get it.Then read “The Acts of the Apostles” to back that up.

Come to think of it, where in the Koran does it ever mention LOVE??? It should be known by now that Moslems were to be the opposite of their brothers.

This “moderate” S- is BS. This is subversion, this is war, these are words coming from a “region” based on deceit (“allah is the great deceiver”). Every F- thing they say is a lie, you will be burned to beleive otherwise.
Do you people think that whenever they appear in pisslamic court that they swear to tell the truth with one hand on the Koran? In western courts, do you think they swear to tell the truth on the bible? Where the F- in the Koran does it say “Thou shall not bare/bear/behar false witness” (don’t be a F-ing liar)?

Saying God is Love in any country is unIslamic — the word LOVE does not appear even once in the Koran, only hate and murder and revenge and self-glorification. Muslims do not know what LOVE is — all Muslims of whatever stripe are sub-human demonic miscreants.
Brave Burma has the courage to expel these monsters, and the rest of the world takes sympathy with their whining — all non-Islamic countries should expel tthe Muslims who squat on their territory, let the Rohinga stay in Bangladesh, it is an Islamic country, and all Muslims should be welcomed into the UMMA — Bangledesh should be glad to have them. Or let them be shipped off the the Saudis, who don’t take any so-called refugees.

Absolutely – that’s the only solution.
No Muslim should stay in non-Islamic countries.
And we should help those non-Muslim people who are oppressed, humiliated, injured, terrorized, and many are murdered.
The Islamic organizations receive unlimited billions every year to “convince” the corrupt politicians in our countries to let them in and make them build bridgeheads from where they want to destroy our culture and freedom with the utmost energy.
Still we are numerically and technically superior.
We need to use this superiority to get rid of these monsters immediately.
