An Uber driver with Somalian heritage living in the United Kingdom has been taken to court to answer charges he subjected his daughter to female genital mutilation, FGM, in order to keep her from “feeling sexy,” he said.
FGM is illegal in the United Kingdom. It’s a horrific procedure and should be outlawed everywhere.
But the father’s defense is beyond ridiculous.

A Somali heritage Uber driver allowed his seven-year-old daughter to be subjected to Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) because he said it stops “women feeling sexy all the time”, a court has heard.
The case represents one of the first times a prosecution for the crime – common in some migrant and Muslim cultures – has been brought to court in the UK, despite being illegal here since 1985 and hundreds of successful prosecutions in France.“The case concerns… a practice that is illegal in this country and is becoming illegal in countries around the world,” Anna Vigars QC, prosecuting, told the court as the case began Monday.
“But, there are communities in Africa and the Middle East where it is common,” she added, according to The Guardian.
The prosecution alleges that the Somali father, who speaks “broken” English, admitted allowing his daughter to be cut to charity worker and anti-FGM campaigner Sami Ullah after picking him up in his Uber in March 2016.
Mr. Ullah asked the driver if he knew what the practice was using the Somali word, “sunna”. The driver is alleged to have made the cross sign with his finger and replied: “You mean cut?”
He then said he had allowed his own daughter to be mutilated, arguing that many people in his culture embraced it, and claiming that a smaller version of the practice was not wrong.
After the journey, the charity worker called the police, and officers then called on the driver’s family and it was discovered a girl aged seven had had her clitoris mutilated after an inspection, the Bristol Post reports.
Mr. Ullah added: “He [the defendant] told me he had got it done in an area of Bristol. I asked him if he knew it was illegal, he replied it was culture and tradition, some people do it, some people don’t.
“He told me that he had got it done to his daughter and there were [places] where you could get it done. He said, around the facility of the health centre.
“He asked do you know why we do it and before giving me the chance to reply, he said: ‘So women don’t feel sexy all the time.’”
Last year, more than 5,000 new cases of FGM were recorded in the UK, and around 9,000 women sought National Health Service (NHS) help because of the practice.
The figure means there are around 14 new cases every day, and a third of the women and girls seeking help were born in Somalia, according to the NHS numbers.
With prosecutions failing to materialise, in 2003, it also became a criminal offence for UK nationals to take their child abroad to have FGM, and in 2015, a legal requirement to report the practice was placed on doctors, nurses, midwives, and teachers.

If the figures are so high why are the prosecutions so low? Ah – but its ‘racist’ to object to this abuse, and the authorities don’t like to be called ‘racists.’
Same attitudes prevail with the sexual abuse of thousands of under-age white children (girls and boys) by gangs of grown-up men of a certain religious persuasion. Can’t complain though – that would be ‘racist’ – remind us, what race is a religion?

It’s insane how many WOMEN here in Canada don’t know about FGM.
A couple years ago I was talking to my cousin’s wife. A real firebrand who doesn’t put up with squat, conservative on some issues, liberal on others, she considers her self well informed, and mostly, and I don’t mind going toe to toe with her on issues because she avoids the mud slinging.
But one day, it was probably when I was in a “Look what those friggin’ friggin’ friggin’s just pulled” mood after reading a Spencer/Geller article, FGM came up
She had NO CLUE what I was talking about, and I had to show her several articles. To her credit, she believed, and it changed her mind about the friggin’ friggin’s.
This is how hard the liberal media ducks anything that opposes their agenda.

As Horrific as this is it should come as no suprise because the governments in the UK over the decades from the Blair New Labor have encouraged Multiculturalism & told these societies to look after their culture & in many cases they police themselves totally & for the most part IGNORE much of UK law!

I read this up today, friday and the day before thursday in the Times and can only believe that the wretched Judge stopped the trial and instructed the jury to find no offence had been committed as evidence of collusion or pressure from the Lord Chancellor and above him the Home Office to crush this latest attempt to prosecute a case of FGM, despite as we know the “father” having admitted to organising it.
The judge claimed the lead witness was “inconsistent” and that the crown had failed to prove that cutting had taken place as he claimed no evidence of it had been found by doctors at the examination later.
This weakens the woman police DCI and the CPS who found the police case met all the required standards of evidence at a review before proceedings were undertaken.
If you wonder why the muzz have their tales up in the UK and feel, rightly, they are unstoppable, it’s largely because of events like this one and repeated cases of CSE on white under aged girls where Michel Mouse sentences are delivered upon a guilty verdict. It seems the only offences the state care about are not the Islamic cultural ones but the violent terrorist ones which give the “peaceful Muslims” a bad name.
These offences of FGM, like the ones swirling around head scarves on young Muslim girls in our schools, increasing rates of halal slaughter etc are intended to ease the path to Islamification of Britain by stealth and non violence, under the watchful eye of the police, courts and political establishment of all stripes.
