Muslim says he was kicked off flight after he was heard speaking in Arabic, Hamas-CAIR lawsuit claims

57

I am calling BS on this liar’s story. Arabic-speaking people fly in the U.S. all the time, without experiencing any trouble at all. I’m sure that as more details of this incident come out, it will be revealed as yet another fake anti-Muslim hate crime.

That said, this raises another question: did a Muslim, ever, ever once, say — in the interest of national security and the safety of the American people, I understand why you’re concerned. Let me assist, let me be helpful and support these counter-terror programs? No, that never happens. What most often happens is what happened here: they just cry victimhood and go to Hamas-CAIR to start a lawsuit.

“Muslim says he was kicked off flight after he was heard speaking in Arabic, CAIR lawsuit claims,” The Blaze, February 14, 2018:

Story continues below advertisement

The Council on American-Islamic Relations filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday on behalf of a Muslim-American man who said he was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight for speaking in Arabic on his cellphone.

Khairuldeen Makhzoomi was a public policy student at the University of California, Berkeley, at the time of the April 2016 incident. While awaiting takeoff at Los Angeles International Airport, Makhzoomi called his uncle to tell him about meeting and having dinner with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

What does the lawsuit say occurred?

But another passenger heard Makhzoomi speaking in Arabic and reported him to Southwest, a CAIR news release said. Makhzoomi was then removed from the plane, questioned by law enforcement and barred from returning to the flight. The suit said nothing happened to non-Arabic-speaking passengers using their cellphones.

The lawsuit said when Shoaib Ahmed — a Southwest agent named as a defendant in the suit — came to remove Makhzoomi from the plane, Ahmed tried to speak to Makhzoomi in Arabic. But Makhzoomi — who also is a refugee from Iraq — asked Ahmed to please speak in English, the suit added.

“You seem that you were having a serious conversation on the phone,” Ahmed told Makhzoomi, according to the suit. “Who were you talking to?”

After Makhzoomi told him, Ahmed replied, “Why are you talking in Arabic? You know the environment is very dangerous,” the suit claimed, adding that Ahmed told Makhzoomi he was being removed from the flight for speaking in Arabic.

Makhzoomi was then forced to stand in a corner in the terminal for 45 minutes “before being aggressively patted down and invasively searched in front of a crowd of onlookers and half a dozen police officers, including a K-9 unit,” the suit said. Makhzoomi “felt humiliated, in shock, confused, and began to silently cry,” the suit said.
What did the FBI allegedly do?

Enter officials from the FBI, the suit said, who took Makhzoomi to a private room, interrogated him and searched all of his belongings.

“Next time you are flying, don’t use your phone, just sit there,” an FBI agent told Makhzoomi, the suit noted, “and I advise you to apologize to Southwest.”

While Makhzoomi was finally cleared and released after several hours and Southwest refunded his ticket, the suit said the airline refused to book him on another flight and inconvenienced him, as Makhzoomi had to book a Delta flight to get home.

More from the lawsuit:

As direct and proximate result of Southwest’s intentional infliction of emotional distress, Plaintiff has suffered from long lasting shock; trauma; stigmatization; severe mental and emotional distress; embarrassment; public humiliation; damage to his personal and professional reputation; anxiety; insecurity; sleeplessness; fear and apprehension associated with airports and flying; and immense pressure to look and act a certain way so to camouflage his identity, including feeling the need to shave his beard prior to flying and to not travel with his Arabic studies books.

What does the plaintiff want?

Makhzoomi wants to be awarded compensatory and punitive damages, as well as legal fees, the lawsuit said….

Ah, yes. Another “Muslim comedy” routine in the tradition of the Flying Imams and Azhar Usman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=httoVsQYiAo
If he really is part of this country, as he says, then he has some appreciation of the concern people have about Islamic terrorism on planes. I think someone who does not understand this fact of modern life is strangely out of step. In this case he causes an incident with his talking on the phone that results in him missing his flight and being questioned by the FBI. He response is to have CAIR sue the airline. I just can not identify with this. It is in the same category as people who pretend to slip and fall in a supermarket so they can sue the store.

Back in a former life, I often flew Singapore Air. It was not uncommon for many ayrahb speakers to be on board flights. Mobile phones were in wide circulation (way before the days of “smart phones”) and travelers would frequently be speaking that tongue, on their phones and to each other. This was years before 2001 (late nineties) so, that may be some explanation. No one ever approached those speaking ayrahb. The only time that there seemed to be any problem was when some dirty robed thing, wearing a knit cap, stood, midflight, moved to the back and started with a loud screeching of “alley” and the like. Times have definitely changed, but I have to believe that there is far more behind this than some passenger overhearing a phone conversation, no matter how loud that thing squawked.

Facts and witnesses seem to disappear with time. It become a “he said, she said” …. and that moslem is the only thing to still be around. Moreover, probably took a year or so to put together a really good lie.

19 of the 19 911 terrorists spoke arabic as well as most of the other terrorists that were caught trying to hijack planes. If they speak arabic they should have an airport just for mudscum/mudslime far away from populated airports where they can take planes one way back to the middle east.

If the airline has concerns about a passenger, then the airline has a duty to the traveling public to prevent incidents. As muslims are the cause of most problems, they are suspects, to be dealt with to prevent problems.

Remember when Juan Williams of NPR said on-air on Fox News that if he sees a Muslim man in Muslim garb getting on his flight he admits that he gets nervous. NPR fired him the next day….and he’s one of their Libtard goons!
No worries though….he got a cushy job at Fox News the next day…..so he can continue the Dimms and Dhimmi message….

So, he gets fired for saying he is suspicious of Muslims on the plane, and now you say he is subservient to them. Williams is a liberal, but your conclusion seems illogical.

ladywarrior
ladywarrior

There is nothing illogical in what I said…..he carried his America-hating over to Fox just as if he is at NPR….only he makes more money at Fox….At that time he was a guest on FOX when he was still at NPR….O’Reilly had him on as a guest often…..but only so he could argue with the uber Lefty Juan.
Then Left NPR fired Juan for his comment on FOX…two things happened ….he was an example by the Left Libtards to warn their other wanks to keep their mouths shut….
….and then Juan got hired for more money at FOX by Rupert Murdoch’s two Uber-Left sons who run FOX…to continue NPR’s Globalist crapola…..win-win.

That was a two-fold win for the Left. after that they got rid of Ailes with phony charges, then O’Reilly, and then Eric Bolling…I no longer watch FOX since the first Presidential Debate…..

But people tell me that THE FIVE stinks to high heaven with Juan….and the RINO Dana Perino…..most conservatives have now gone over to Lou Dobbs on Fox Business News…..Lou does not care about being “fair and balanced” which is Lefty speak for keep spreading the manure…..
He is a solid conservative who speaks his mind and has others of the same ilk on his show……I think he has been sick for the last few months and is getting treatments….I suspect cancer because he takes a lot of “vacations” timed in a fashion like when I had chemo….I wish him well….we need him.

What about compensation for the passengers who were reasonably frightened by this man? What about compensation for the airline that was disrupted by this man? People have every reason in the world to be suspicious of Muslims on airplanes after 9/11.

The email notification on this article mentioned that he was “muslim-American”. I can say one thing about that: That is about as divisive of a label as you can get. After all, are all Christians “Christian-American”? How about the “Atheist-Americans” (well, they could be labeled “AA”, and that would have funny connotation, I should think)? Sometimes, the “journalists” use absolutely no logic in their headlines and announcements. No wonder most of them have limited credibility.

The Philippines has always accepted dual citizenship, but not the USA – unless you were born in a foreign country. If you were born in the USA of parents of the USA, and tried to obtain the citizenship of another country, you LOSE your USA citizenship and all rights and benefits, including military retirement, any disability compensation and social security. Fair?

And I totally agree with you. If Americans cannot have dual citizenship, NO ONE CAN.

Michael Youssef, a former Muslim from the Middle East, became a Christian and came to America. He founded the Church of the Apostles in Georgia.

He has been a contributor on Fox and other channels. He wrote the book: JESUS, JIHAD, AND PEACE. He says there is no such thing as a “moderate” Muslim.

Youssef says that even if a Muslim appears moderate that if they are “called” to kill infidels and they don’t ….then they themselves are killed. We have thousands and thousands of “refugee” sleeper cells here just waiting to be called by Allah….thanks to Hussein Obama…. and their are living off of welfare and “disability” aid on our taxpayer money…..just like in the UK

Youseff’s book also talks about all the Muslims Obama put in high places in our military, intelligence agencies, homeland security….all through our government…..this explains why the FBI and Homeland security have refused to call the radical muslim trained Antifa member Paddock…a terrorist for the Las Vegas shooting.
….he talks about how banks here in America pay a “tithe” to Muslims for the “privilege of doing business with them”…money that goes to terrorism…killing our military on the ground.

I found his books on Amazon. They are not very long and inexpensive. He’s written really good tell-all books about Islam.

They are as you say, “inactive” terrorist cells just waiting to be called.
