The Turkish president has appeared in a bizarre video in which he assures a sobbing child in military uniform that she would get state honours if killed while fighting.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan was heard commenting: ‘If she’s martyred, they’ll lay a flag on her,’ at a televised congress of his AK party.
He made the comment – on live television – in front of cheering supporters who urged him to carry on with the military offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria’s northern Afrin region.
The president made the comments to a sobbing young girl dressed as a Turkish solider on a public stage during a live TV appearance
The president was cheered by adoring supporters as he told the girl she will be honoured if she is martyred
Critics have condemned his action as the same sort of child abuse for propaganda purposes as carried out by Islamic State fighters.

The guy is obviously a nutter. I can’t put into words what I truly feel, as the Facebook thought police just gave me a three day Facebook prison sentence which lasted a week for a comment I’d made. I still can’t figure out how three days in Facebook time is a week in anyone else’s. Unless of course, they had the same maths teacher as Diane Abbott.

You’ve never known anyone to be suspended on FB? I have known 100’s to be suspended infact multiple times and for 30 days or permanently .. You not seeing that happen kind of leads me in a direction of what side of the fence you are on. It happens all day long to conservatives and I’ve not ever heard of it happening to liberals as liberals are the ones reporting every post they find offensive. By “offensive” I mean they don’t like what someone said, it goes against their beliefs. Just look up class action suits against FB for silencing conservatives.

EVERYBODY I know, even people I think are kind of jerks, at the very least say they would do this to protect their little children.
Probably one of the reasons we in the west are not “savages” is because anybody in our culture who puts their welfare above their children are the exceptions, the freaks and crazies we have LAWS AGAINST.
Unlike Islam by the way.
A prime example is the Iran/Iraq war. To clear a mine field, one side gave their own little children toy plastic keys, telling them the keys would open the gates to paradise, and to “Run that way.”
They used their own children to detonate the mines, and then the cowardly b****d adults followed.
How young were those children, if they still believed that?
Oh and then there’s the child brides, bacha bazi (That’s boy sex slavery in case you know) that’s RAMPANT in every single Muslim culture.

Why the West continues to play patty-cake with Erdogan, in general Turkey is insane, maddening but not shocking. Anyone trusting their government to be vigilant or hold concern for their security is either gullible or part of the deep-seated malignancy, political correctness and an Islamophile.
Erdogan’s words to this child and the accompanying photo are repugnant but most importantly, betray this man’s sanctity of Islam’s ethos of Martyrdom. Indeed, it is child abuse but it, too, is an Islam’s tenet.

What we are privileged to witness here is the actual act of destroying the innocence of childhood recorded for posterity, in this case, that of a 5 year old Turkish girl who wants and desires nothing more than to play with her toys and friends while she does her growing up in peace with her family.

At least we can take pleasure in the thought that after brutally imposing themselves for more than 250 years on much of south-eastern Europe, on 12th September, 1683 the Ottoman Muslims were utterly smashed outside Vienna by a crusader army led by Poland’s King Jan Sobieski. Had Europe not so foolishly been disunited and involved in petty inter-state squabbles, the Muslims would not have had the success they did in conquering much of s-e Europe.
