Imam says Muslim call to prayer “shows power and control over the country”

45

Takbir! (Expansion!) It’s all about power and control. Taking over whole streets for Muslim prayer is about power and control.  An Army lined up for battle. Rank and file. The nails-on-a-chalkboard call to prayer at the crack of dawn is all about power and control.

Ex-imam says Muslim call to prayer “shows power and control over the country”

Feb 24, 2018, By Robert Spencer:

Tomas Samuel’s analysis holds true not just for the call to prayer in Sweden, but all over the West.

“Ex-Imam about Muslim prayer call: ‘Shows power and control over the country,’” translated from “Ex-imam om muslimska böneutrop: ‘Visar på makt och kontroll över landet,’” by Anna Ernius, Samtiden, February 23, 2018:

ISLAM. A mosque in Växsjö has applied for a prayer call. This has aroused debate, not least since Bishop Fredrik Modeus said he welcomed the Muslim proclamation…

This motivated former Imam Tomas Samuel to explain what the prayer call stands for.

The imam of the mosque in Växsjö also compared the Muslim call to prayer with church bells as an argument for getting the prayer call approved.

Bishop Fredrik Modeus has received harsh words after his statement that he welcomes the application for the Muslim prayer call, and hoped to hear both church bells and prayer calls in Växjö.

“I think that many of those who have spoken this way have a real fear of what’s unfamiliar.

“That fear I respect, but I do not think that the way forward is to prevent others from exercising their religion,” said the bishop to the newspaper Dagen.

Tomas Samuel, a Christian apologist and former Imam, therefore, wants to provide knowledge of what the prayer call stands for.

“By going to the Islamic sources, we can get a foundation that can help decision makers make the right decision,” he says.

“What we discover is that the prayer call states that everyone should submit to Islam, and proclaims power over the area of the prayer.

Tomas Samuel writes that at first glance it may seem that church bells and prayer calls are the same, but that this is a logical error.

“Church bells are not a confession, it’s just a musical sound. They are not trying to assert power and control over the country. In addition, most churches do not use the bells, several do not even have any.”

“The difference is obvious,” writes Tomas Samuel.

The prayer call is called “Adhan” in Arabic and means “information, enlightenment.”

“The prayer call comes for essentially two reasons: it will remind people of when it is time to pray, and the prayer call will proclaim Islam over a city,” according to Tomas Samuel.

“At that time there were no alarm clocks. As the Muslim population increased in number, there was a real need to remind people of the different prayer times.”

“But that need hardly exists today, because we have wristwatches and clocks on the walls and in our mobile phones.

He quotes “Omdat Al-Ahkam”, one of the most important books for Islamic law:

“Adhan is a very important ritual in the religious practice of Islam, one can liken it to the Muslim flag. Its proclamation shows that the people of the city are Muslims.”

“It is also important for the proclamation of the word of Allah, thus manifesting the religion of Allah (Islam).”

“The prayer call begins with giving thanks by proclaiming ‘Allahu akbar,’ to show that Allah is the greatest and that everything and everyone should bow to Allah and Islam. The Islamic profession of faith is the second part of the prayer call (‘There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.’”

“This confirms Islam and proclaims it (Islam) across the country.”

“The prayer call should be done by a man who has a beautiful voice.”

“Women are not allowed to raise their voices, because a woman’s voice could mean a temptation for men,” continues Tomas Samuel.

“The prayer call should be done with a loud voice. There is promise of a reward from Allah for a loud voice that reaches as far as possible.”

“The prayer call will take place at the exact time of the five prayers.”

Tomas Samuel believes that the Växsjö mosque’s application for a prayer call is only the beginning.

“Many other mosques will make the same request, not only to have the prayer call twice a week, but five times a day.”

He emphasizes that everybody is free to believe how he wants.

“But your freedom ends when my starts. One of the simplest rights is that no one should be forced to listen to a creed he does not believe in,” he writes.

swedes are stupid enough to believe anything, especially if a muslim says it. sweden is a write off, it will be turned into carrion for consumption by muslims, who will then invade bordering countries to destroy them as well. Just rot quietly, the rest of the world is tired of your snivelling.
““But your freedom ends when my starts. One of the simplest rights is that no one should be forced to listen to a creed he does not believe in”. That is the purest form of islamophobia possible, in sweden, those even thinking that would be sent to jail.

Just an aside … Has the weather broken enough, for your grandson to give the exposed hammer double that you gave him, the proper workout?

Not yet, there are still snowdrifts covering the skeet range, though a .410 is useless at skeet, it will give him an idea of what it is all about.

A .410 is useless in skeet? I rarely shoot (by “rarely” it means once a week) anymore, but when I was AAA rated NSSA, twice I ran 100, in .410. I had my Belgian Browning set with Briley tubes taking the twelve (open bore) to 20 gauge, 28 gauge and .410. Back, before my last stint as an expat, I shot with Boyd Wickham, at New Pioneer Gun Club, at least twice a month. Until his passing, he held the NSSA record, set at San Antonio, world record at that, in .410 …. He was in a shootoff … and the second to last survivor dropped a bird at 478, Boyd dropped his 478th. Although, your grandson’s .410 is probably choked full/full .. not really conducive for skeet.

His is cylinder bore on both barrels, will see what he can do with it. His father has the ancestral 12 gauge of the clan, that is his next project.

Open bore on a .410? Most, made in those days, were choked full/full. Well, open with the exception of the back bore, is almost identical to skeet/skeet.

Yes, the ones I had before were full choke, this one is a bit different, maybe it was designed with slug use in mind? Somewhere I once read that shot gun slugs were legal in some states where deer are a nuisance, long time ago.

In many states, shotgun is the only way that you can legally harvest deer, outside of black powder or arrow. Goes back to when the average farm size was around 100 acres.

With all due respect, M’Lady,
It is true that the larger the guage, the better the chances of taking down the clay. However, it has been shown that the .410 is simply a 12 gauge’s sweet spot.
The use of the .410 by your grandson will be beneficial in several ways, especially If he is able to succeed in overcoming the dissappointment of failure and turning failure into perfection.
I wish you both the blessings of success.

Almost exactly 300 years ago, Sweden was a great power, but then was defeated by Russia, after which Sweden was no longer a great power, and Russia became one. Was just reading about that today.

I have to study some more to see what wars Sweden fought after that, hardly any, I think, and after that came a long period of peace, during which it seems they lost their warlike skills.

Yeah, ever since the Vasa sunk before it even left the harbor, the Swedes decided to pack it in on the whole ‘war thing.’

I read the Nazis co-opted Sweden’s submarine tech during WW2. I believe the schnorkel the Nazis employed on their subs was a Swedish innovation.

Taking the contents of this article, and the factual events that are so common place in today’s society, superimposed on the writings within the books that comprise Islam, the practice of this type of prayer is to me more evidence that supports the conclusion that the world of Islam intends to overthrow all other religions and governments. All other religions, from my perspective, have houses of worship where the faithful can go to pray in the privacy of these buildings. They do not overwhelm the streets, and they are not intimidating. Islam continues to preach hate for the Jewish people and all non-believers of their belief system and non-believers in general, with much rhetoric proposing death to those non-believers, and the leaders within Islam have recently showed glee for the fact that many Jewish people now live in one area (Israel) and they now can be wiped out as one group. With this continuing hate, why do we allow these believers to publicly commit acts that actually stand for the overthrowing of all others who are not Muslim. The stupidity of those who cannot see these obvious facts, and wrongly claim these prayer sessions are acts of religious liberty and are innocuous are fools. I commend Mr. Spencer’s article as once again shining light on what should be obvious to right and reasonable thinking people.

I have often said and written that what needs to be done to face the reality that faces us from the radicals that promote the hate and animosity directed towards non-Muslims, is a concerted effort to monitor the Islamic houses of worship and to determine who among them are preaching in favor of violence against non-Muslims, for I do not believe that free speech, by anyone, can ever be used to justify the promotion of violence to overthrow a legitimate government or violence against others. These people need to be prosecuted and deported if that is a remedy available to our judiciary/prosecutors. To avoid doing those things is to allow ourselves to be herded into submission forcibly. Our legislature must create laws that protects our constitutional rights to believe in whatever non-violent faith we choose or not to believe, and protect the people from being forced to accept a belief system that is both antiquated and sometimes evil. I have written to my legislator’s asking them to pass the kind of laws that will provide protection and force our prosecutors to actively use our judicial/legal system to stop those who would preach and promote violence against non-Muslims. Unfortunately, I believe our legislator’s do not understand that their priority is to provide for and protect the people, and all they are concerned with is keeping their job and the greed that goes along with their positions. I believe we will first have to limit their terms, preclude them from lobbying, and mandate that all laws be applicable to every American equally, including the legislators. Can we ever get that done.

This reminds me of the book of Daniel chapter three, where the populace, upon hearing certain sounds or music were to bow down to the image of Nebuchadnezzar, those who refused would be thrown into the fiery furnace, Mishael, Hannaniah and Azariah, also known as, Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego, the three Jewish young men refused to bow to the image………read the rest of Dan 3.

Yes, there is a parallel there — only it is not mandatory in “free” nations (at least not yet) for non-muslims to bow down to allah/satan at the sound of the bell, trumpet and/or music. Believe it or not, their prayers to the islam god does “show power and control over the country”, because we are not dealing, as the apostle Paul said, with mere human beings, but with satanic forces in heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). That is why Christians must pray earnestly to defeat those spiritual forces.

In my neighborhood in New York there are regular calls to prayer from a mosque many blocks away. It is jarring and an unpleasant sound to our ears. Should this assertion of supremacist theology, although in Arabic, be allowed to assert in everyone’s auditory space? What if I wanted to play music over a certain decibel level? That wouldn’t be permitted. The decibel level of these calls to prayer that go out over sound systems are probably in violation of noise ordinances. In writing this comment I realized that my neighbors and I have been afraid to report it. It would also involve some legwork to locate the exact mosque that is the source of this repulsive auditory offense. When the warm weather comes, however, I shall do it!!(We don’t hear it in the winter months.)
