Trump Sets Terror Haven Pakistan on Notice With New Year Tweet: ‘No More!’

29

President Donald Trump ushered in 2018 with a New Year’s Eve tweet that went like this: America will be reviewing its policing of contributing aid to lying, deceitful, terror-tied Pakistan.

And what seems to be looming is a U.S. cut in aid to the country.

That sound you heard was the massive thud of thousands of Islam apologists and leftist foreign policy appeasers across the world.

Story continues below advertisement

Trump, apparently, has had enough.

He wrote, in the early dawn of January 1: “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

It’s not clear if Trump means all aid will be cut, or just some.

Either way, he’s sending a strong message. And not for the first time: In August, Trump said this on Pakistan:

He’s simply following up on that message.

From Breitbart:

It is not yet clear whether the “no more” exclamation means the complete or partial termination, or temporary suspension, of American aid to Pakistan.

If the complete termination of U.S. foreign aid does indeed become official policy, it would be a far more dramatic step than withholding all or part of America’s $255 million in military assistance to Pakistan, a measure reportedly under consideration by the administration over the past few days after Pakistan refused to allow U.S. interrogators access to a captured terrorist from the hostage-taking Haqqani network.

In August, President Trump said the “next pillar” of his strategy for battling terrorism would involve a “change in our approach to Pakistan.”

Trump accused Pakistan of giving “safe haven to agents of chaos, violence, and terror.”

“We can no longer be silent about Pakistan’s safe havens for terrorist organizations, the Taliban and other groups that pose a threat to the region and beyond,” the president said. ”These killers need to know they have nowhere to hide – that no place is beyond the reach of American arms.

The Trump administration withheld $50 million in military aid to Pakistan over the summer because it felt Islamabad was not doing enough to bring down the Taliban and the Haqqani Network. There was some criticism at the time that despite his strong complaints about Pakistan refusing to help fight the Taliban or even actively colluding with it, Trump was dealing more harshly with Egypt over human rights violations by its government.

The Pakistani military rescued a Canadian-American family held hostage for years by the Haqqanis in October. Concerns have been raised that even this rescue might have been the result of a deal between the Pakistanis and the militant network, which has long been suspected of enjoying special favors and protection from elements of the Pakistani security apparatus. The prisoner Pakistan refused to allow the United States to interview was tied to the kidnapping of this Canadian-American family.

On Thursday, Pakistani military spokesman Major-General Asif Ghafoor warned the United States against taking “unilateral” military action on its soil and denied his country was not doing enough to fight the Taliban and its allies, promising that the results of Pakistan’s counterterrorism operations would be “seen in subsequent years and months.”

After making this declaration, Ghafoor implied Pakistan could actually do more, once its concerns about Afghan refugees are addressed. “If there are any facilitators and abetters inside Pakistan that can only be addressed if the 2.7 million Afghan refugees are sent back to Afghanistan,” he said.

Good, not one cent to pakistan or any other place where islamic terror is government policy. If pakistan needs money, its pet dhimmi in face book, zuckerman in particular, can provide funding as face book adheres to the pakistani version of sharia. Part of sharia is contributing to jihad, face book can now proudly announce that it is fully compliant.

I think now more and more countries are questioning how their foreign aid budget is spent. When you get countries such as the UK contributing to the development of girl bands and art projects in Africa out of foreign aid, while their own war veterans sleep in the street with no help from the government, it’s no surprise that people are now demanding answers. Or India being given aid, when it can now afford its own space program.

Government aid has been in place at least 50 years in Africa, yet the continent is no closer to making good use of its own abundant resources. All that can be seen from the results of aid are massive personal wealth of a few dictators and a tripling of the population, most of whom live in poverty.

Definitely time for a rethink, such as aid being cut, directly applied to source and also being conditional upon contraception.

The official stance of Pakistain is that they didn’t know Bin Laden was in Pakistain — despite the fact Bin Laden’s gigantic fortress house was built in the same area as some sort of military installation.

The vast majority of Americans and Western Europeans will have had no exposure to Pakistani muslims unless they were educated along side some when young, their lying and deceit is legendary as the POTUS describes.

When a nation is lucky enough to have a leader like Trump who is able to think clearly after examining the historical facts around an issue like Pakistan {unencumbered by the usual cabal}, he should be regarded as a national treasure. It’s his non political background which allows him to think “out of the box”, this ability makes the career political wonks go puce.

All jolly refreshing, I wish we had one, keep going, you know they’re hurting when they squeal.
