In the Western world, as is well known, many male celebrities have been accused of assorted acts of sexual molestation. These acts have ranged all the way from making suggestive comments to sending emails of sexual innuendo or obscene pictures to “unwanted” touching, to inflicting kisses on employees or co-workers, to exhibitionism (walking around naked in front of female employees), and in at least one case, have included accusations of rape. These are all charges made at such sites as #metoo, and not yet judged in any court of law.
But no one in the West has waited for a court verdict to deal with the situation. Punishment for those accused has been swift and implacable: they have resigned, most under pressure, or been fired. Some will never find work again. Harvey Weinstein, a serial molester, has lost his career, has been booted out of his own company, and been expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He will never make a movie again in an industry where for decades he was one of its most successful producers. Matt Lauer, for 20 years the star of NBC’s Today show, accused of having sexual affairs with two low-level employees, was promptly fired. The comedian Louis C.K. had the distribution both of his new movie and his comedy show cancelled, after it came out that he had paraded naked and masturbated in front of five women with whom he worked. Media companies severed all ties with him. His movie and television careers are now over. The journalist Leon Wieseltier, formerly of The New Republic, was just about to launch a new magazine when news of his unwanted advances to female employees led the magazine’s chief financial backer to pull out; the magazine plan collapsed. When the iconic liberal of the airwaves Garrison Keillor was accused of “inappropriate behavior” — he had once placed his hand on a woman’s back, under her shirt — Minnesota Public Radio, which had first produced and distributed A Prairie Home Companion nationwide, cut all ties with Keillor’s production company. Senator Al Franken, accused both of unwanted kissing of female employees, and of making a prank photo, with his hands only seeming to cover the breasts of a sleeping female employee, while Franken mugged for the camera, was pressured into retiring from the Senate.
So far nearly 100 prominent men in the United have either lost their jobs or resigned, or in some cases, have been relieved — pending the outcome of investigations — from their responsibilities.

Compare the treatment of all of these men with what has happened to Tariq Ramadan. When the first charges against Ramadan by four women (two of whom have made their identities public) in Paris came to light, they included extreme sexual violence, choking, death threats, and rape, along with threats to harm the children of at least one of his victims, Henda Ayari, should she dare to say anything. Yet Eugene Rogan, the director of St. Antony’s College, Oxford, where Ramadan has been a professor, decided that he should continue with his teaching duties unless, and until, proven guilty of the accusations. Rogan knew that Ramadan was revered by many Muslims — he has two million Facebook friends and more than 200,000 followers on Twitter. Furthermore, Rogan was keenly aware that the the Emir of Qatar, Ramadan’s financial supporter, who had endowed Ramadan’s chair, had also paid for a new building at St. Antony’s College, and it would be unwise to alienate such an important benefactor.
When, however, the second set of accusations arrived, from Geneva, from four of Ramadan’s former students at a high school who claimed he had seduced them while he was their teacher, and they were underage, the University of Oxford — not St. Antony’s College — announced that it was putting Ramadan on leave, pending further investigation.
But since then Ramadan has been treated very differently by a Muslim community that, one might have hoped, would shun him the way Harvey Weinstein and so many others in the United States have been shunned. Instead, Ramadan continues to be lionized by a Muslim community that sees him as their champion, supposedly victimized by the enemies of Islam. Wild charges have been made by his supporters, including that of a “Zionist plot” designed to silence him.
The Muslim reaction to Ramadan has been to rally round the “giant intellectual” (Robert Spencer has likened Ramadan’s pseudo-profundities to hallmark-card sentiments). Here are some representative sentiments of his many loyalists:
“I cannot believe anything about the latest allegation regarding Prof. Tariq Ramadan. I see Zionism and the far-right of many European countries doing anything to smear the image of such a giant intellectual because he is able to challenge their racist views about Islam and Muslims. I do not believe anything at all about the latest fabrication.’’

Here are three representative reactions by Muslims to the charges against Ramadan. In their view, he is being cruelly persecuted because he is a “giant intellectual” able “to challenge….racist views about Islam and Muslims.” He is so articulate and brilliant — “this is why they want to make you silent!!!” Meanwhile, Ramadan continues to deny all of the accusations against him and to behave as if he is indeed being persecuted for being a paladin of Islam… Only a tiny handful of Muslims — all women — have been willing not to dismiss out of hand the accusations against him. He has continued to make appearances in Europe, continued to consult with Muslim groups, continued to be the “giant intellectual” offering online his smooth misinterpretation of Islam and his philosophical vaporings on religious matters. Only once has Ramadan been prevented from making a public appearance. Last fall he was announced online as the star attraction at a weekend-long American Islam Dawah Retreat in Orlando this December. The announcement caused a furor on Facebook, where enough Muslim women expressed their dismay, so that Ramadan’s face disappeared from the announcement; presumably, he never appeared at the Dawah Retreat. This cancellation was, however, a unique event.
That might have been the end of it except that now a Muslim think tank based in Malaysia, with which Ramadan had worked in the past, has announced that it intends to continue to collaborate with Ramadan. The think tank Islamic Renaissance Front (IRF) “will continue its collaboration with renowned Islamist scholar Tariq Ramadan and remain impartial over rape allegations against the Oxford professor while letting justice take its course.” IRF founder Dr Ahmad Farouk Musa said.
“We have to assume that he is innocent. To take an alternative view would be compromising on our principles,” said Dr Ahmad Farouk.
In early December, at a conference held in Kerala, at the Darul Huda Islamic University, one of the most prestigious centers of Islamic learning in India, the proceedings were to have been opened by that most celebrated of contemporary Islamic thinkers, Tariq Ramadan. No matter how horrifying the behavior that Western infidels — islamophobes, Zionist plotters, and so on — ascribe to him, his star remains undimmed among Muslims. The Emir of Qatar has kept him on as the Director of the Research Centre for Islamic Legislation and Ethics at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), and Ramadan remains a member of the influential, and very well endowed Qatar Foundation. When the conference was held, however, the first speaker was Dr. Mohamed O. El-Moctar Al Shinqiti, as the “representative of Dr. Tariq Ramadan” who expressed his [that is, Tariq Ramadan’s] sublime ideas on education and highlighted the major changes that education and knowledge can bring about in a person’s life. It’s unclear as to why Ramadan decided not to appear in person, but he certainly was not being ignored; the “representative of Dr. Tariq Ramadan” appeared to praise, by way of opening the conference, Ramadan’s “sublime ideas on education.”
Let’s keep in mind that not one of the American media companies, movie studios, radio stations, publishers, or individual employers felt they had to wait for decisions by a court of law to fire, or force to resign, or cut off all contact with, the many dozens of men accused of behavior far less serious than what Tariq Ramadan has been accused of by at least eight women. That behavior, let’s also remember, included multiple rapes both of women and of minors, violent sexual assault including choking, and not only death threats to the victims, but threats to physically harm the children of those he raped if they reported him to the police. But in the world of Islam, none of that mattered. He was one of them, a Muslim and a spokesman for Islam, and thus unassailable, beyond all criticism.
When Muslims claim they are not passing judgment on Tariq Ramadan, but remaining neutral until legal proceedings conclude, they are not being accurate. For they are, in fact, continuing to celebrate him. When he is listed as the star attraction at an Islam Dawah Retreat, even if subsequently he does not appear because some Muslim women made a sufficient hue-and-cry, the damage had been done, he had received an endorsement from Muslim males (and many females) who, no doubt, are even now blaming “Zionists” or other plotters for the cancellation of Tariq Ramadan’s appearance.
The founder and head of the Islamic Renaissance Front, a Muslim “think tank” in Malaysia, Dr. Ahmad Farouk Musa, publicly declared this December that the IRF would continue to collaborate with Tariq Ramadan. Dr. Farouk Musa could have said something more neutral, something along the lines of “We respect the arrangement that Professor Ramadan and the University of Oxford made by mutual agreement, whereby he has taken a leave until the accusations against him can be fully investigated and resolved. Like the University of Oxford, we take no position on the merits. We simply think it would be wise to do the same at the Islamic Renaissance Front.”
But Dr. Ahmad Farouk Musa, by announcing that the collaboration with Ramadan would continue without interruption, was not being neutral. He was giving Tariq Ramadan the benefit of the doubt in a case which involved many accusers, at least half of them Muslims, who gave detailed and corroborating descriptions of his violent sexual behavior and threats (they did not know one another but their stories about his behavior were quite similar), and who were clearly traumatized by their encounters. He does not know if Tariq Ramadan is guilty of any, or all, or none, of the accusations, but to treat him as if he had to be treated as innocent until proven guilty would be to wrongly apply the more rigorous standards of a criminal trial to quite another situation. Neither Harvey Weinstein, nor Matt Lauer, nor any of the 50-100 people who have lost their jobs in the United States for sexually inappropriate behavior have yet been declared guilty in a court of law. Many of them may never be. But it was not necessary for that to happen, in order for them to be disgraced and to lose their jobs. They didn’t have that unshakeable blind loyalty that Tariq Ramadan obviously enjoys, as Muslims rally round their idol, and support him in their determination to have the charges made — including those made by at least four Muslim women — be dismissed as a “Zionist plot,” or a plot by other Infidels and Islamophobes against the most celebrated Muslim intellectual in the world. No matter what may be the results of any judicial inquiry, in Geneva or Paris, into Ramadan’s behavior, he will remain forever innocent in the eyes of most fellow Muslims.
For Ramadan there will be no real reckoning. Whatever the Infidels mete out will only confirm his martyrdom and raise his standing among Muslims. Violent and vicious, he nonetheless remains a Muslim star, and no accusation — no conceivable crime — will be enough either to dim that diseased sympathy, or to extinguish that stardom. Just watch, in the coming months, as more and more Muslim groups invite him to appear at their gatherings, or to be interviewed most respectfully on Muslim television programs, or for Muslim publications, about the terrible ordeal he has had to undergo, where his version of events will remain something like this: “Don’t forget, I’m being accused by women in the pay of my enemies. Which enemies? Oh, I think we Muslims all know whom I’m talking about. There are so many, in Washington, London, Paris, Tel Aviv….. They want to bring me down not just to silence me, but to scare into silence all those who speak up clearly, forcefully, convincingly, for Islam. I’m not going to be silenced, no matter what outrageous charges they level at me. They don’t want moderate Muslims to speak out. They want to paint us all as members of ISIS or Al-Qaeda, and I spoil their little script.”
And he’ll get away with this nonsense. Even if his victims are now said to “run into the hundreds,” almost all of them are, and with reason, fearful of coming forward because, in the end, to do so is to risk physical harm to themselves or their families. It took a great deal of courage for Henda Ayari to be Ramadan’s first accuser. For her bravery she is repeatedly denounced in the Muslim media, and she has received so many death threats that she now needs, and must endure 24-hour security guards. It’s a most unpleasant way to have to live.
A handful of Muslim women will take the side of his accusers, but most Muslims, men and women, will continue to rally round Tariq Ramadan. For them, he will remain the martyred Islamic intellectual who can do no wrong, however unfairly so-called Western justice, a tool of Islamophobes, treats him. If some Infidel judges in Geneva convict him of statutory rape, or other judges in Paris convict him of various kinds of sexual assault and of making death threats, that won’t change Muslim minds about either the mendacity of his accusers, or the martyrdom of the innocent Dr. Tariq Ramadan. “Who cares what the Infidels conclude? We Muslims know why this is happening, we know who’s behind it, and we reject the farcical kangaroo court of so-called Western justice.”
At this point, nothing would surprise or shock in the Ramadan affair. No matter what the Swiss or French judges conclude, and even if in some ideal denouement, he were to be given a prison sentence (which I do not expect, given the superb team of lawyers the Emir of Qatar will no doubt provide) — at some point in the not-too-distant future he would be free, and back on the lecture circuit, organizing conferences, writing books, pocketing huge sums from rich Arab admirers, playing his self-assigned role as the “great Muslim intellectual.” But if he is found guilty, and no matter what his sentence, Muslims will not change their minds about the greatness, and the innocence, of Tariq Ramadan. And if he is found not guilty, he will do all of those things — lectures, conferences, writing, and more — that is, he will demand to be, and with mea-culpa alacrity will be, re-employed as a professor by St. Antony’s, Oxford But there is sure to be more: no doubt he will write an autobiography focussing on his recent undeserved ordeal, with some such title as “My Martyrdom.”
Even in this country, given what would meet with the approval of our present islamophilic undergraduates, the ones who shout down Robert Spencer or manage to have Ayaan Hirsi Ali uninvited, is it not possible, or even likely, that many of our semi-demented universities, say Stanford, or the University of North Carolina, intent on proving that its faculty and students and administrators will stand by their Muslim brothers no matter what, will lavish invitations to speak, and confer honorary degrees (surely it will soon be de rigueur at many colleges to have a Muslim speaker at commencement), on the unspeakable, but in Muslim eyes forever untouchable, Tariq Ramadan?

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Now, these pseudo intellectual muslims are given preferential treatment, but, the public is a fickle old hag, they will find that they fall out of fashion, with those institutions edifying them as turkeys who only attract ridicule or distain. When muslim money runs out, the pimps when whoremongers that are fawning over there purchases will find that muslims are a liability, they will be very nicely dumped as they are mere whitewash on the pseudo intellectualism and fake tolerance that the elitist are selling today.

In my experience, the principle reason people like Ramadan exist at large in the west as long as they do, protected as they are in a bubble of adulation from the “usual quarters” is down to this unalloyed hero worship from the self censoring left wing media and those renowned halls of “free thinking” the western universities.
Pantomime is for young children, but if a creep like him keeps asking “mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all” and the answer always comes back “you are, gorgeous” from his many snowflake fans and middle aged academic “can’t get a date” groupies he’s going to strut and preen until he’s properly challenged, and often, and that’s the point, those who can give him a real bad time are increasingly silenced as we know.
The distribution of the many facts around him any decent society finds offensive is one way to undermine him, especially outside where he speaks, go to it, you cannot miss, the facts of his beliefs are on our side.
To this end, I enclose my newest document titled “Understanding Islam and Muslims in Britain”, created in Autumn 2017.
Understanding Islam and Muslims in Britain.
Beliefs, Policy, Language and Consequences.
The majority of non Islamic people in Britain in 2017 suspect they’re being lied to and deceived about Islamic immigration and terrorism – they’re right, they are, by the political, media, legal and educational establishments as well as those responsible for Islamic Jihad.
When interviewed on his beliefs, practices or ultimate goal, any Muslim will keep in mind whether he is addressing an Islamic or non Islamic audience, this forethought will frame his answers. Because Muslims are taught from birth that they are the “best of people” and that non Muslims are cattle at best and that Jews are pigs or apes, any non Muslim needs to understand this concept of “Islamic Supremacy” right from the start, it’s the foundation stone to understanding.
When a Muslim is residing in a non Islamic country, he is mandated to regard it as Dar-el-Harb or the land of conflict. Therefore he uses the following ways to protect Islam from critical scrutiny or suppression when talking about his beliefs, incidents or Jihad to any non believer. They understand full well their position of relative weakness when fewer than 10% of a population.
Examples – TAQIYYA {Shia} or MUDA’RAT {Sunni} lying to protect Islam {or deceive the enemy}. KITMAN – deceit by omission. TAWRIYA- Deceit by ambiguity.
TAYSIR – deceit through facilitation {not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia {Islamic Law}. DARURA – deceit through necessity {to engage in something Haram or forbidden}.
MURUNA – the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslims appear moderate.
More confusion in the minds of non Muslims exists on the subjects of dress codes and diet {permitted foods}. A non Muslim will often hear from a believer how objections to Islamic women’s dress are “unfounded” because the Burkha, Niqab and Hijab are “just pieces of cloth and “modest”. This also is deceptive, all three are “just pieces of cloth” in the same way a KKK hood and cloak are “just pieces of cloth”, all display and confirm the political beliefs and loyalties of the person within.
Furthermore, such clothing worn by a Muslim woman confirms to any Muslim male that the woman inside is a confirmed believer and thus must not be molested or assaulted, those “treats” are reserved for uncovered Kuffar women. Assault against non Islamic females takes many forms and has involved having acid thrown over their uncovered exposed body because a female showing flesh to an observant Muslim is a “provocation” therefore inviting unwelcome attention as a “slut” to be abused.
This threat is very real and a direct assault upon any non Muslim female’s right to walk where and when she pleases wearing what she pleases in her own non Islamic homeland. This situation is routinely ignored by western journalists because the realisation if understood would be explosive, conflicting with “community cohesion”.
In the case of the public murder of the late Lee Rigby, much airtime and breath was expended by the MSM and politicians in dodging the issue which was this, according to the Koranic mandate any non Muslim {soldier} “causing mischief in Muslim lands” must and will be killed, Fusilier Rigby was of course a serving soldier. Also included in that command are the civilians paying tax to fund armed forces causing afore mentioned “mischief”. Not enough people know this owing to concerns around “sensitivity”.
Muslims [and their Western apologists} remarking upon some act of violent Jihad against non Muslims will sometimes try using as an excuse the Crusades and the existence of Israel. This too needs examination.
The first Crusade was preached at Le Puy in France in 1095, 460 years after the first Christian city was overrun by Muslim armies in AD635.
443 years after Muslim armies overran Italy in AD652.
427 years after Muslim armies first laid siege to Constantinople in AD668.
380 years after Spain was conquered by Muslim armies in AD780.
363 years after France was first attacked by Muslim armies in AD782
and 249 years after the capital of the Christian world, Rome, was sacked by a Muslim army in AD846.
By the time the Crusades finally began, Muslim armies had conquered two thirds of the Christian and classical world. Starting in the year AD620 to 1920, Muslim armies fought more than 548 battles of subjugation, the Crusaders fought 16 over 160 years to stop them.
Muhammad started massacring Jewish tribes in the 7th century, the state of Israel was founded in May 1948.
“ Westerners need to accept that Islam will dominate all lands it touches. The holy Koran teaches us that where we put our feet we shall rule that land, it’s that simple.” Anjem Choudry. This statement remains more of a promise than a threat, it should be recognised and debated as such.
Unfortunately for the victims of the dreadful Manchester Concert atrocity, there is even sanction in all Korans mandating exactly what happened, “ In its war with the infidels, Islam recognises no distinction between regular armies and civilians. Musab Ibn Juthama told Mohammed that Muslims would attack the polytheists at night and women and children would be harmed, Mohammed answered, “their offspring constitute part of them thus killing them is permitted”. Speech by Sudanese Islamic cleric Muhammad Ali Jazouli. Slander to a Brit means telling falsehoods, to a Muslim slander means revealing what he would prefer remain concealed {even if true} particularly if concealment serves the interest of Islam.
In regard to a believer’s diet, the non Muslim is always bullied into providing Halal food and the removal of all pork from an existing menu despite the wishes and customs of others, this is another example of Islamic
Sharia being enforced upon a non Muslim society in a non Islamic space in accordance with the mandate to subjugate. This cultural capitulation also strengthens the believer’s sense of superiority and entitlement.
However what is carefully hidden is the entire command which states that if no Halal food is available, anything can be eaten including pork if required to sustain the life of the believer until Halal food is available. To the faithful, it would be inconvenient for non Muslims to know this. In non Islamic western countries with expanding Muslim populations, these facts remain deliberately hidden to non Muslims and therefore unknown because they’re not PC and therefore not discussed.
Time “off” work for prayers is another ploy used to bully and subjugate unbelievers, but all Muslims understand they’re allowed to make up prayer time later when convenient, this too remains hidden as is the fact that even a “lapsed” Muslim who likes to drink, chase women, gamble etc while bound for “hellfire” is able to redeem himself in the eyes of Allah IF he undertakes an act of violent Jihad and kills and is killed in the service of Allah. He goes straight to heaven where he collects his rewards, all 72 of them .
Death by Jihad in the name of Allah remains the highest calling for a Muslim. Jihad is 98% violence and 2% “inner struggle”. Informed estimates given in August 2017 indicated that 35,000 Jihad’s reside in the UK with 23,000 in Germany and 17,000 in France. The major threat to all comes from within.

After every Islamic atrocity believers are interviewed complaining about anti Muslim “backlash” and “Islamophobia”, they’re suffering from {dry weeping can also be seen}. These displays are what they seem, defence by Muslims against scrutiny by non Muslims of the religious sanction for violence mandated in the Koran, any displays of “contrition” will be false and part of the language of defence of core Islamic belief listed above.
Islamophobia has not so far {2017} been defined in any western court of law, a “phobia” is an irrational fear of something, there’s nothing “irrational” about a fear of Muslim grooming gangs or terrorism. The charge of one being “Islamophobic” is just another defence strategy conceived by the Muslim Brotherhood
{and used extensively by the British media} to close down debate about the root causes behind Islamic Jihad. {Grooming gangs of Muslims are part of cultural Jihad and carry religious sanction in the Koran}.
The claim of “Islam is a Religion of Peace” is often heard {by non Islamic audiences}. Well, according to the Koran this claim will be true when all other religions and beliefs are subdued under Islamic rule, and this includes democracy. This clarification is always missing when addressing a non Islamic audience..
Our Judeo Christian democracy is the shelter for equality before the law for all, Islamic Sharia abhors this and will destroy all Western liberal concepts we accept when it gets a chance. “Justice” to a Muslim means justice according to Sharia, which is not equality before the law. A Muslim majority nationwide is not required for this, a local majority where Muslims live is all that’s required for our laws and protections to be ignored, witness the issue in 2014 of “ Trojan Horse Schools” in Birmingham as one example. Vote rigging and graft in certain East London councils, as well as certain districts in Birmingham, is another.
Another selective quote referring to the concept of “peaceful Islam” is aired as required to a non Muslim audience “ Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. Whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world “ Koran 5:32. What the uninformed listener is never told is that quote is lifted from the holy book of the Jews the Talmud.
Unfortunately even when the whole world is under Sharia the killing will not stop, the more devout will go after the less devout until they too are killed {as witnessed with ISIS}. The Medinian verses of the sword written during the last years of Mohammad’s life abrogate all such “peaceful” verses. This too is never explained. We American’s and you Brit’s have much in common despite the revolutionary war. Essentially, we do think alike and have been allies over two centuries. I found your cited article to be frighteningly enlightening. Your passage in Britain seems to be fraught with danger, and I am concerned. in the article above about Ramadan, I note that this purported learned professor was commented by his followers about the need to educate the Muslim world. It is hard to disagree with that. Nevertheless, putting that comment in prospective with the Professor’s other comments, one must believe that he is using education as a weapon to bring down the free world. The facts are out there about those of the Muslim world. they blame everything on the Zionists. They refuse to recognize history and confirm that the holocaust really happened. From my perspective Islam is a satanic cult, but unfortunately it has a very large following. This political belief system that calls itself Islam must be dealt with. These people are simply not fully able to assimilate into other societies like yours and mine. They should remain with there own kind and the flow of refugees must be cut off soon, before it is too late. I am an admitted islamophope and I believe that my fear is 100% legitimate.
