Pope: It’s a sin if fear makes us hostile to migrants

167

Pope Francis is the most pro-Islamic, subjugated Pope in modern history. Yet they have still threatened to kill him, which is further proof that submission and accommodation to Islam is perceived as weakness and gives way to more demands, more conquest, more attacks in the cause of Islam.

This Pope is a disgrace. He is selling out his people, condemning them to futures of unimaginable misery. He seems hell-bent on making sure that Europe commits suicide. He is betraying the Catholic (and non-Catholic) people of Europe, and encouraging the entrance into Europe of people among whom he knows there will be violent jihadis, and he doesn’t care. Europeans dead? It’s the price of diversity! I am beginning to believe that somebody somewhere has something on this turncoat tool. He has abandoned his flock — the hundreds of thousands of Christians subjugated, oppressed and slaughtered under Islamic law are all but forgotten by their “fearless” leader.

“It’s a sin if fear makes us hostile to migrants, says the Pope as he addresses Mass for refugees,” Mailonline, January 14, 2018 (thanks to Mark):

Story continues below advertisement

Pope Francis told the Catholic faithful today that it is sinful to allow fear of mass migration to ‘feed hostility and rejection’ of migrants.

He explained that mutual fears between immigrants and their new communities are understandable, but must not prevent new arrivals from being welcomed and integrated.

In a special Mass to mark the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, Francis added: ‘Local communities are sometimes afraid that the newly arrived will disturb the established order, will “steal” something they have long laboured to build up.

‘The newly arrived,’ he went on, ‘are afraid of confrontation, judgement, discrimination, failure.’

Francis, a keen defender of migrants’ rights, was addressing a congregation including immigrants and refugees from some 50 countries, whose flags festooned the area around the altar in St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican.

‘Having doubts and fears is not a sin. The sin is to allow these fears to determine our responses, to limit our choices, to compromise respect and generosity, to feed hostility and rejection.’

As politicians and civil society grapple with the mass movement of people around the world, with flashpoints including in the Mediterranean, and between Myanmar and Bangladesh, the pope has repeatedly urged support for those who move to other countries.

Argentine Francis, who was the first non-European elected to the post in nearly 1,300 years, has criticised US President Donald Trump’s stated intention to build a wall to stop illegal migrants crossing the American border with Mexico.

The leader of the world’s 1.2 billion Roman Catholics also met Muslim refugees in Myanmar and Bangladesh last year and called for decisive action to solve political problems that cause many to flee.

Today, he said newcomers must ‘know and respect the laws, the culture and the traditions of the countries that take them in’….

Good luck.

1.2 billion members of the Church of Rome? They must be using the same counting system that moslems do, when they claim 1.5 billion. Divide by ten … you’ll arrive at a far more accurate count.

I’ll be damned if some socialist, apostate, faux pope dictates “what sin is” to me or anyone else. BTW, I was reviewing the Lutheran Missouri Synod web site after searching “Islam.” Like the great majority of churches, they believe restricting the presence of Islam in the US is worse than the vile ideology of that “religion.” Fools! One article focused on the fact that “some Muslims believe terror is Islamic.” They IGNORE that ISLAMIC DOCTRINE teaches that terror is Islamic.

I quit going to church several years ago……the LBGT, Muslims Dhimmi sympathizers, Far Left have infiltrated the Methodist, the Disciples of Christ, and the Presbyterian …..the Catholic Church has gone way down thanks to all the child moletation cases…….
Many of them now have two services…..8:30 am a “traditional” service….10:30 am a service for the ones who are “non-traditional”…code for “diversity”…..

So unless I want to get up at 7 in the morning to hear traditional service….while the Far Left get the convenience of later in the morning… I don’t go.

Instead I often listen to American Family Radio sermons and other speakers…

I quit going to “Catholic” church many years ago, when I read the Bible, & learned that what GOD said is NOT what the I was taught in catholic school by Priests & nuns.

Yuup, you’re right. I grew up thinking that all “men of God” were better than the rest of us……you know, almost (but not quite) sinless….to be admired and looked up to…..well guess what – they ain’t no different than the thug football players that make big bucks. Besides, Grandmother always said one didn’t need to go to church to be a good Christian…..How right she was.

In the Presbyterian denomination, each church (physical church) is a separate corporate body. They own the property and the pastor/minister, is an employee of the church, not allowed to be a member of the one over which they administer to the flock … They tithe/contribute to their “home church”. Due to the stance of their presbytery and the national organizations, many of those corporate bodies have left the Presbyterian church … The Orthodox Presbyterian Church … although they have the most gawd-awful hymns, are quite close to what the Presbyterian church was one hundred years ago. Not many out there …. I live in a relatively large metropolitan area (or close to it) and the closest to me is around a two hour’s drive. Needless to say, being the backsliding slackard that I am … Haven’t attended any services in years.

Me: It is a grave sin if one fails to do anything to protect one’s life. This pope seems to have watched Albert Brooks’ “Defending Your Life,” a movie from 1991, a way too many times and fell victim to it and started to believe that “fear” is the greatest sin. If he does not have any “fear” and think that he will have a free pass to “the next upper universe” by using anything more than 3% of his brain and thus will not be returned “back to earth to fix himself” (the main motto from that movie), he is just plain naive and stupid. REAL life is not alike a movie scenario, Jorge Bergoglio!

Is it a sin for muslims to steal from, rape, murder, assault and lie to those who they come in contact with? If fear of muslims is a sin, then should Christians not avoid occasions of sin? Avoiding muslims would be a virtuous path to follow. Why is it that only muslims are allowed to do anything, even the most reprehensible of all things a human, to use the term loosely, can do? Why is there no criticism or judgement of muslims when the qur’an demands they commit the most heinous crimes against the non muslim community that can be imagined? It is time to call muslims what they are, minions of hell and servants of the devil.

I hope this idiotic pope carries on driving people away from the Catholic church. People are being shocked into reality and are starting to see that all religions are but fantasy and superstition, you only have to look at Islam to see how primitive and dangerous they can be. Even Hinduism, a relatively peaceful religion, will get violent if anyone kills a cow, yet they have no qualms about massacring thousands of Sikhs or muslims. As for Christians, they may not kill people physically, but are good at killing people emotionally if they don’t agree with their lifestyle. There is always a Ransom to be paid of one sort or another with religions. Just glad that I can see sense, being an Atheist.

Poor little Pwyse, continuing to lie. You promised to not respond. However, moslems and atheists are, for the most part liars. Many similarities between the religion of mohammedanism and atheism. Although, occasionally, an atheist will tell the truth, a moslem NEVER does .. but they’re both, for the most part, liars. I have no reason to disclose my religion. I am not here evangelizing, as you are. You have shown yourself to be an average follower of the religion of atheism. You mental abilities are exceedingly limited. Your command of written language is quite poor. And, you are a liar.
As far as other similarities between the religion of mohammedanism and atheism, they are the two religions responsible for more murders than all of the others put together. Of course the religion of mohammedanism has murdered FAR more than the religion of atheism. However, atheism DOES come in at number two.

Christians DO NOT ‘kill people emotionally’. It’s outrageous to compare Sikhs with moslems, by the way. Nothing like them except maybe turbans. Christians might extend an offer, but that is all. If you have to bash a group to feel better about your opinion, then you yourself have something in common with moslems yourself.

People are leaving religious institutions and ideologies, and who can blame them when they create, and have created, so many atrocities around the world. Some of the greediest people in the world hide behind religion too, perhaps you should do your research into who they are. I’m sure you’ll find a “nice group” there too.

I hate to correct you when you sound so sincere, but Atheism is not a religion, we don’t worship any god, or god’s. We’re not Agnostics either. If we believe in anything, then that would be Evolution, but only that which has been proved.

I hate to correct you, Pwyse. Atheism IS a religion. I have known several atheists, over the years, and their proselytizing efforts make a Jehovah Witness look like a piker. As far as evolution goes, I was taught that it was a fact .. from my childhood on .. and I am sixty-four. It is a theory. Unproven, but with considerable evidence. But, a theory none the less. Imagine my surprise when I found that it was a theory. I will accept it, along with many other theories. I won’t be a proponent of any of them, until one is proven and becomes scientific fact. Newton’s Law is a law, because it has been proven. Therefore, I accept it.

Pwyse

Sorry to disagree again, but you need to Google Atheism. And although Evolution does begin with theory, an awful lot has been proven to be true, and they’re learning and proving more every day. I really don’t know where you get that Atheists are proselytising more than Jehovah’s witnesses, perish the thought. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen or heard any Atheists proselytising as you call it, on street corners or knocking doors… anywhere in fact, I certainly don’t do that. When asked what I believe, I just state my opinions.

I haven’t used gurgle as a search engine, in years. There are FAR better search engines available. Every religion attempts to define itself, and that includes mohammedanism and atheism. From the actions of the faithful, one most draw their conclusions. Atheism IS a religion. One need not stand on a street corner to proselytize. It can readily be done on a public forum. For example, if an atheist isn’t proselytizing, they can simply announce that they are an atheist and leave everyone else alone. However, so very many of them want to convert others. The number of times that I have heard, “I have SCIENCE on my side”, coming from something that doesn’t even know what the periodic tables are, I laugh and laugh and laugh. You are entitled to believe in your religion of Atheism. I see no need to convert you or attempt to prove that “my way is better” or more logical, or that I have “science on my side”. You have the right. the freedom, to practice your religion.
As far as evolution goes, again, I was raised to believe it scientific fact. As more research is done, more and more of that theory is proven false. Personally, I could not care less where life originated. Or, how the universe was created, whether something just happened out of nowhere and nothing or whether some god, or gods, made it.

Please don’t reply, it’s difficult to understand you when you’re having a tantrum and I may have to insult you and point out your other big faults, one of them being your grammar.

Do you ever read your evangelical “comments”, Pwyse? You cannot, under any circumstances, believe that you are anything other than a blithering idiot, with an exceedingly poor command of the English language, can you? You are perverted and repetitive, in your perversions. I am replying to get you to lie, once again, as you promised to never respond …. It simply points out one of the very many flaws of those that practice the religion of atheism ….
Now, on to matters of reality, when you came up from the basement and asked your mommy to make you hot pockets, did she say, once again, “GOOD girl!”?

Like I said Achmed, you’re totally insane, and very repetitive, and so obviously a Muslim, tho’ I know you pretend to be Christian. Does your wife know that you’re a pervert who thinks he’s talking to a young (good) girl in her mother’s basement? You’re sicker than I thought Achmed, I think the police should keep an eye on you, you sound like a Paedophile….oh dear! you really are barking up the wrong tree if you think I’m interested, but like I said before you really are “barking mad”. Now fk off and pester someone else. btw, you do know that it was your grammar (or lack of it) that gave you away as Muslim.

I’m not here to deal with religion, other than my hatred of moslems. I’m not talking to you, little thing. I am simply getting you to continue with your lie (common practice of those that practice the religion of atheism) and watch you humiliate yourself. My wife peruses this site .. but she’s a bit radical. Compared to her, I’m an islamophiliac. She despises moslems. Her hatred towards mohammedanism knows no bounds. I don’t believe you to be a “little girl”. Rather, I am relatively certain that you’re an early thirties cross-dresser, living in your mommy’s basement. Your spelling of pedophile (“paedophile”) discloses that you are not an American. Of which nation that you are a resident .. that is none of my business. You are free to humiliate yourself, as you do with each one of your comments, no matter where you dwell.
Now on to reality, when you last came upstairs from your mommy’s basement, did she make your hotpockets … just the way that you like them?

Pwyse

I’m English you bloody idiot, that’s how I know that your Grammar stinks! Another fault you have, is your delusion of Grandeur, I could tell by the way you attacked my spelling of Paedophile, which I may add is the correct way to spell it, that’s something else you should Google, I would have thought you’d know seeing as you seem to be one. Is your wife a “Lady boy”, does she know that you fantasise about 30yo cross dressers and little girls?? You’re very sick Achmed, seek help.

So, you’re a citizen of the UK (United Khalifate). Oh, watching you humiliate yourself has been just TOO good. Again, I do not fantasize .. I simply made a logical assessment, based upon your evangelical rants, that you were a cross dresser, still living with your mommy. Even considering that United Khalifate residence have exceedingly poor writing skills, what in the world is “fantasise”? Perhaps there is someone that speaks “atheist girly boy” language that would be able to translate that into English, ASE preferred as opposed to girly boy BSE.
Please continue with your lie, I am having SO much fun watching you humiliate yourself, time after time after time.
Did your mommy make your hotpockets the way that you like them?

There have been a goodly number of people that worship atheism that have done good things for people and the world. There is no denying that. The only religion where that cannot be found is mohammedanism.
The statement, earlier made, dealt with religions that had killed the greatest number of human beings. Of course, first on that list would be mohammedanism, with estimates between 270 million and 420 million. The next religion, responsible for the greatest number of murders would be atheism.

Just who are you to advise anyone Michael? Just because you’re a member of the “happy-clappy” Christian club, doesn’t mean that you’re right. The day you provide total proof that any God exists, is the day I will get on my knees and tell him/her/it, that they couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery, let alone a world and it’s inhabitants, but as logic tells me that it’s all bullshit I guess I won’t be holding my breath waiting. You say that “it’s only out of love that Christians warn practicing Homosexuals of the penalty” ha! Just how sanctimonious can you get? Try replacing the “love” in your sentence with “malice”, yep!….looks about right.

I never tried to say that I was home and hosed and indeed are far far away from anything approaching a state of grace. You defend homosexuality whereas I am concerned those who practice such are going to regret for eternity that they refused to listen to God. I do not advocate death to homosexuals. I am however reminded of God destroying Sodom for sins of the flesh. I would even venture to suggest our generation is worse.
It is not malice though Pwyse. On Judgement Day ALL humanity will bend their knee to Jesus whether voluntarily or not.
When Jesus was here on earth as ‘one of us’ He walked on water/cured lepers/gave sight to the blind/ brought Lazarus back from the dead/ endured an agonising death for our sakes/died was buried and rose again.

Yet for you even were you to have proof it sounds as though you would join in the Crucifixion again. Read the four Gospels Pwyse.

Do you believe every single word in your Bible, a book that’s been basterdised continually over the millennia, is more like a Chinese whisper, and has no real relevance in today’s world? I think that some people have had seriously much worse deaths than Jesus, just look at the atrocities that have happened in the name of people’s gods and prophets over the many centuries and wars. You don’t need god or Jesus to tell you to love your fellow man/woman, an evolved brain does it naturally.

For decades, ever since the “You’ve got it, Toyota” advertisements, of the seventies, my wife has wanted nothing but Japanese cars (wonder why?). However, around eight years ago, she became a huge fan of Korean cars. I don’t know why … I just pay for ’em. Back in the day, she’d drive a Lexus, when I first became able to pay for it. Now, she (my wife) is far more of a cheap date.

The thing about oriental cars is that they are what they appear to be. What you see is what you get. In particular, you don’t see design and component flaws, as they re not included. The dealer only wants to see you as a customer when you purchase the vehicle, then on occasion for routine service. It isn’t all that often oriental vehicles have to be returned for service. My #1 son has a dodge diesel with some sort of european diesel, purchased new, retuned more than 20 times under warranty for trivial things that never should have gone wrong. Then there is the handling, some people are very sensitive to the tactile feedback of the vehicle. Japanese girls are very sensitive, dontchaknow? My x was a fan of german and swedish vehicles, like the cadillac cts, maintenance money sinks.

The only thing that I know about Japanese girls .. don’t take ’em to the ophthalmologist. Shortly after we married (1975), I noticed that Mieko’s eyesight seemed to be, shall we say, somewhat challenged. Especially, when she was driving, I felt my very life in danger. When she was properly fitted with the appropriate prescription spectacles, she took one look at me and became meaner than a junkyard dog.

Mieko may be mean, but she’s sweet in her own way. Since she has been on her extended holiday, if I miss her call she gets all weepy on my voicemail, telling me how much she loves me and misses me. When I answer, on the other hand .. it’s “Have you done this? Have you paid the property taxes on all of the houses? Have you, have you, why do you put things off until the last minute?” She and four of her sisters are finally off, on the first of February, for their long planned trip to Vietnam. I don’t think that I am going to answer my phone … I much prefer the lovey-dovey voice mails.

Pope Francis would serve his faith and his flock better if he ceased with his condemnations on others regarding the migration of Jihadist terror. Francis is another apologist of not merely Islam but the numerous lives destroyed by the priesthood’s perverse, debauched practice of pedophilia. Not to overlook, pedophilia is deep-rooted within the church and Islam. This commonality is beyond disconcerting.

Moreover, in Peru and Chile where he is pontificating these confessions of the Churches’ transgressions; perhaps he should also acknowledge the Vatican’s and Spain’s extermination of ancient cultures within Mesoamerica and South America, in the name of Christianity and plunder.

Francis is the antithesis of one of his most righteous and humble predecessors, Pope John Paul II; the latter survived under Nazism and Communism of which he held both in outright contempt. Francis, on-the-other-hand, is a devout Socialist best said, Marxist. Marxism, one suspects, being a godless politic causes one to distrust this Pope’s sanctimonious criticism of those daring to secure their borders and civilization from the Islamic pathogen.
