Five years in jail and 300,000 euros fine ($366,000), this is what a Parisian pharmacist faces for posting on its storefront the pictures of the two thieves filmed by its CCTV, hoping they will be identified and brought to justice.
This practice, also called “Doxxing,” is not new: individuals have published photos of their burglars on social networks before. Nevertheless, in France, “doxxing” is a violation of privacy punished by law, said Gerard Haas, a lawyer specializing in new technologies laws.
In July 2017, a resident in small Paris suburb town of Savigny-Le-Temple pinned on Facebook the picture of the thief who burglarized his home, with a note: “you who decided to rob my house, why did you do it?… I was on a holiday trip, and I am not rich. I work hard during 11 months to enjoy 4 weeks of Freedom. You robbed my living room, my kitchen…”

In France, Justice has turned red. The Syndicat de la magistrature, one of the main Judge’s Union, is a marxist driven organisation that openly claim to fix the “social injustice” of being poor and play the blame game. When it was established right after the Mai 68 student social revolution, they ask their members to compensate in their rulings for the abusive society that crushes the weak. How dare the pharmacist claims to be a victim when he obviously made it so well in life? Don’t forget that also national French icon Brigitte Bardot has been prosecuted and heavily fined for protesting against the halal slaughtering of animals. (Being a vegetarian, I am against ALL kinds of slaughtering and so is BB.)

That was in Florida. The sentence was fifteen years, hard time, to be followed by fifteen years of strictly supervised probation … after release … Actual sentence of thirty years. Yes, only in the USA (United Sharia of America). The local police threw over seventeen people on that case, just to track that man down. It was a plea arrangement, so that federal hate crime statutes would not be charged; which could have resulted in a life sentence, without parole. Not the United States of America of my day …. glad to be on the back nine of life.

I see an investigation into Russian meddling in Western politics has also discovered Russian promotion of fake news in Europe. The objective , as in US , being to sow the seeds of damage to social cohesion. One of the example given was a fake Russian planted story the the French govt was banning Christian symbols.

I have never been to Viet Nam. I did hard time, during Desert Shield where I was exposed to moslems .. squatting right out in the open and wiping with a bare left hand. Never shot prisoners. For a prisoner to be a prisoner of war, they have to surrender. If one keeps firing at vile creatures, they don’t surrender. They attempt to fire back. They get killed. Administrative courts (they obey the French government) have ruled to forbid Christmas cribs in City halls that were there every year since … ever. They recently ordered a cross above a Statue of Pope Jean-Paul II in Ploermel in Bretagne to be cut out.
Las December in the the Creuse department, a communist mayor decided that the cross on the cemetery gate has to go. It was installed in the 60’s and no-one ever complained about it.

Actually France has along history of secularism since at least 1905. . There is a strict separation of church and state [unlike USA} , In France. For instance a wedding ceremony must be performed as a civil service to be legally binding. It can be separately blesssed in a religious ceremony but this alone is not official.
So the issue with the cribs was people saying that nativity scenes contravened this strict separation if erected in government buildings. Nothing at all to do with Islam.

Americans are fond of telling the French what they think[ or should think] I wonder how much time these Yanks have actually spent there, and how deeply in the local culture, Americans certainly aren’t universally popular . And I can see why. They re often rude and demanding A memorable quote in Honfleur “why didn’t they put laundromat signs in English, they knew we’d be coming” We were advised to put a country plaque on our car so people wouldn’t think we were American.
I ave spent a lot of time in France over a 40 year period and probably know better than you what they want.
Their culture is not like yours and they desperately don’t want American influence intruding. And I can see why.

Instead of Wikipedia you would be better off reading such as Carlyle et al.. The antichurch bias of the working class during the revolution cramped badly the church in France. France may be one of the best places in the world to live, but not for everyone: more Jews have been killed in France during the 21th century than any were else in the Western world. And yes, the criminals were all muslims.
