Geller: American Feminists versus Iranian Women
Risking life and limb, the women of Iran have been center stage in the nascent freedom movement in Iran – the symbol of this historic moment is an image of a woman removing her hijab, derived from a video of a courageous young woman who took off her hijab on a city street and waved it on a stick in defiance of Iran’s Islamic authorities.
A woman was seen on tape declaring: “You raised your fists and ruined our lives. Now we raise our fists. Be men, join us. I as a woman will stand in front and protect you. Come represent your country.”
Story continues below advertisementStrangely but consistently, American women, who have never really understood what it is to be denied their rights by a misogynist system of governance (sharia), have all but abandoned these women yearning to be free. But it’s worse than that. The leader of the women’s movement, chosen by the leftist elites, is a notorious pro-sharia, pro-terror anti-Semite, Linda Sarsour, who rather neatly plays a bait-and-switch game with Iran’s lack of freedom for women and their fight against death and oppression. Sarsour is trying to change the subject away from the Iran freedom movement to the supposed persecution of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, an utterly false and Islamic imperialist narrative.
Sarsour attacks those of us who stand in support of this growing movement in Iran. At the same time, fittingly enough, she is facing charges of aiding and abetting sexual harassment and abuse while she was director of the Arab American Association in New York City.
Meanwhile, regarding Iran, Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth Warren, leading hard-left feminist women’s rights advocates – have said nothing. Nada. Not a statement of support, not a tweet, not a word.
While women in Iran are ripping off their hijabs, the left elites in America are working furiously to impose this garment of oppression on women as if it were some symbol of empowerment. We have seen Hijab Days in public schools all over the country. Then there was the One Million Hijabs For Shaima Alawadi movement supposedly in defense of Muslim women after Alawadi, a hijab-wearing Muslima, was supposedly murdered by an “Islamophobe.” That movement utterly collapsed when Shaima’s murderer was discovered to be not a hijab-hating Islamophobe, but her devout Muslim husband, who murdered his wife because she was working towards living a freer life. One Million Hijabs For Shaima — a cruel joke, at the expense of women living under the boot of Islamic law.
Women in Iran are marching and dying for a chance to live a free life. American women should be marching in solidarity, with their vagina hats at full attention. Instead, these savage hypocrites are attacking those of us who actually stand for women’s rights and human rights, even daring to challenge the sharia oppression that they constantly ignore, excuse, minimize, or deflect attention away from.
Exalting the idea of wrapping women in a cloth coffin under the guise of freedom best illustrates how subjugated and morally bankrupt, as well as timid, the left has become.
The prospect of feminists fighting for the hijab also unmasks this entire fraudulent movement for what it really is. It is ridiculous on its face that feminists laughably claim to be pursuing justice and equality for women, while in fact, their true goal is the obliteration of justice. I am profoundly anti-feminist because it is a phony movement. It is rooted in Marxism-Leninism, and does not genuinely represent women.
The feminist abandonment of women in Islam — Iran, the honor killing victims, the subjugation and oppression of women, forced marriage, child marriage, clitoridectomies, the misogyny of sharia law — should be absolute cause for all women to reject and repudiate the long dead and destructive feminist movement.
The women in Iran may not just bring down the mullahcracy in Iran; they may also blow it up here in America as well.

The bait is women’s rights, equality, safety, all righteous goals, truly “a standard to which the wise and honest can repair,” to quote George Washington, with opposition largely confined to the ignorant, the bigoted, the malevolent, the incredibly stupid.
Then the left switches 180 degrees to support the very opposite. They ally themselves with a death cult that legitimizes and validates abuse and oppression of women, where the areas they dominate are scenes of female genital mutilations, honor killings, rape, sex slavery, child marriages, wife beating and murder of assertive women. The left ends up defending and supporting, as in, aiding and abetting, the worst misogynist faction ever to infest this planet.

Absolutely LOVE your comment!! There are NONE so blind as those who REFUSE to see……or hear…or read….or feel empathy…or just THINK..! I suppose they should be pitied, what with the indoctrination that begins in pre-school and continues into the halls of “higher learning” (higher learning of WHAT, pray tell…??). But, quite frankly, I CANNOT find it in me to feel pity for them. ALL humans were gifted, by the Creator, a thing called “FREE WILL”. We ALL CHOOSE, at SOME point, what we will believe; what we will discard as “unacceptable”; who/what we will BECOME. So, unless someone is born with a mental deficiency of some sort (which, truly, could be the case in many instances — parents who abused drugs; chemical imbalances due to a plethora of man-made causes [think GMOs, chem-trailing, prescription medications for “mental disorders”]; etc. I am of the mind that the VAST majority of these people SHOULD be “hospitalized” as in-patients, not only for their own protection (against themselves), but for the protection of society as a whole. But I think it’s a little too little a LOT too late! Sorta like shutting the barn door after all the horses (in this case, “sheep” is more fitting) have fled!!

You win. The entire #MeToo “movement,” ditto for the “Time’s Up” charade, is utterly reactionary and – dare I say it – anti-male to the core; “We Hate Men” on steroids and even opioids. And it’s not just the issue of Iranian women. It’s the whole matter of the collateral damage wrung unto society due to the 1960’s sexual revolution that sprung from the whole “if it feels good, do it in the road” ethos of the so-called “Playboy Philosophy” expounded on by Hugh Hefner (R.I.H.) – a revolution that reduced women to sexual objects, not to mention the damage to the family, children born out of wedlock, etc. These same hypocrites have no problem with sacrificing women and children on the altar of LGBT supremacism in appeasement of their demands for so-called “transgender” bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. And turn a blind eye when authorities in states that so pander to this sub-minority give the F-U to women who are victimized by sexual assailants “dressing up” to gain access to their private space, in the same way as European countries are by ordering rape victims to “clam up” about the ethnicity of their assailants lest they be smeared and defamed as “Islamophobes.”
As well, Democrats have no problem partnering with sleaze merchant and sm– peddler Larry Flynt, who has a history of paying huge sums to women and others to carry out his long-standing drive to take out any politician or candidate with an ‘R’ and/or ‘C’ next to their name. Flynt is as much a “dark hand” in his own way as George Soros. I wouldn’t be surprised if Soros had a hand ln partly funding Flynt’s sick crusade to ensure only politicians who adhere to his warped, twisted “values” hold office.

Marxism-Leninism – the political and economic theories of Lenin which provided the guiding doctrine of the Soviet Union; the modification of Marxism by Lenin stressed that imperialism is the highest form of capitalism (which shifts the struggle from developed to underdeveloped countries)
That is bad enough, then, add the violent social upheaval involved in destroying society to implement it, and a whole world of violent misery much like islam is formed.

Because they are indoctrinated morons dismally lacking in intellectual independence and intelligent curiosity to study and discover the truth about Marx and Lenin, and the misery and failure of communism in the Soviet Union, so stupidly they swallow what is fashionable in some quarters. Between 1917 and 1924 when Lenin died (almost certainly of syphilis that he got from a French whore) 19 million Russians were murdered by Lenin’s Cheka secret police – most with a bullet into the back of their head – and probably another 75 million under Stalin. Those “who want to control how others live their lives” is certainly the case of those in power in Ontario, Canada, today. A disgusting Kathleen Wynne premier, because she is a lesbian insists that children should think that her LGBTQ life-style is ‘normal’ and thus healthy, so despite medical evidence to the contrary – ‘to hell with science’ (when it suites such liars) – every child must be taught that it is normal and healthy (even if it could cost them their health or life!) and if parents don’t encourage such a lie then Bill 89 allows that the children can be removed from their parents, despotic totalitarian communist style. This is to a large extent aimed at Christians. Yet from where does one hear loud and angry dissent? From me yes to a school board and school, but from where else or from which other parents/grandparents? The public is silent and totally gutless, newspapers almost totally silent, and tv news utterly silent. The Rebel speaks out but few get it. Canada is becoming a bad joke excuse for a democracy!

Thanks ‘onesteoffthe tracks. I live in Ontario, am widowed and have two grandkids, 8 &9 in my custody, so speak truthfully and from the heart about what see going on. I also write what I have above from experience – and from concern for the children in my care. There are some very good people in The Rebel, Ezra Levant and Faith Goldy in particular, and also others, but despite their efforts too little is heard from them among the general Canadian public and the disgusting Canadian media certainly isn’t going to broadcast their views and activities. But this is the Canadian media of which not too long ago Conrad Black wrote in a National Post newspaper column, “a media that no sane person believes”.
The fact is that I still understand and appreciate what ‘keep America free’ is all about and have huge admiration for Pamela Geller who I’ve quite a number of miles to hear on three occasions. I was so relieved when Trump rather than Clinton won the election and cheer on his achievements, but I have concern over some of the men he has chosen, NSA H. R. McMaster who either knows zero about Islam or is an Islam sympathizer and needs to be given the hoof, Rex Tillerson and Mattis who re Islam are similarly clueless. He needs to find and surround himself with more people loyal to his views. I can understand how many would be irritated by John Bolton, but Bolton is still a fiesty fighter.

The current state of Canada is appalling AND frightening to me, an American! It seems that Canada fell SO QUICKLY — one day Canada was just a northern extension of America — the next day (after Trudeau’s “election”), it was an extension of Iran! It SEEMED to happen so fast……and with TOTAL FINALITY!! If that can happen in Canada, it could SURELY happen here in America! We BARELY dodged the bullet with the election of President Trump….but for how long?! “They” are working furiously, and around the clock, to “take him out — by ANY MEANS NECESSARY”! If that happens………well, let’s just say I don’t trust our VPOTUS. He entered this to BECOME the President, I am convinced of that. The problem is that Canada has a long history of gravitating towards communist sympathy, and now the new fad is Islam. Regarding communism I saw it back in the seventies while at University in Vancouver. South Africans I know who came here in 1978 saw what was going on in schools, so the wife read the Communist Manifesto to understand their mindset and what they were up to. Having armed herself in this manner she countered what she saw going on in her children’s schools. I’ve told my grandchildren’s school that they are not going to indoctrinate my kids with garbage and when they try to do so “I will unravel the rubbish you are trying to teach. If this reflects badly on you, then tough luck, but you are not going to brainwash these kids”. If everyone did this it would get results, but nowadays too few parents or guardians hold sound values – or believe in anything other than having possessions and comforts. Proper values have an underpinning foundation while transient notions that change with every new social fad or gentle zephyr are not ‘values’.

I think these “useful(??!) idiots” also have an overwhelming need to BE controlled. Perhaps they know, to some extent, just how mentally deficient they truly are……they are utterly incapable of leading what you and I would call a “normal life”. Making the decision of whether or not to get out of bed in the morning would likely lead to emotional overload. They NEED someone to tell them EXACTLY what to do and when to do it. And they would never even THINK to ask “WHY?”.

Put very simplistically, once upon a time a “liberal” serving of mashed potatoes was a blissful indulgence —– now a “liberal” serving of mashed potatoes is divided up equally amongst everyone else at the table, questioned about where it best “fits” in the LBGTQetc. line-up, denied butter and/or sour cream and salt & pepper, then inspected by an imam for any impurities. That’s not all. Back in the ’90’s they venerated Lorena Bobbitt for her chopping off then-husband John Bobbitt’s particular you-know-what. And in one of the so-called “Women’s Marches” held the day after Trump was inaugurated, they had as one of their keynote speakers a certain Donna Hylton, a Black woman who viciously tortured and then brutally murdered a man, was convicted of the crime and served some time in prison for it. And for that she’s considered a feminist “icon.”

Why the Islamic Republic of Iran is the “Achilles heel” for male domination for entire world? Why ALL woman around the world must unite against Sharia law ASAP? If Islam rule falls in Iran then the alternative religion Zoroastrian (which is asleep but not dead) will dominate Iran once again. Most Magi became “missionaries” in order to spread their Divine Wisdom (mainly to fulfill their deepest desire of rejuvenating nature around the world) but most have been killed by “witch-hunts for practicing magic”, the rest of the Magi are waiting for the right opportunity to “turn the deserts green”; just like that courageous young woman who took off her hijab on a city street and waved it on a stick in defiance of Iran’s Islamic authorities.

What an absolutely excellent and informative post Rick and another example of what Islam can do to a population that has submitted to its sword. From Persia being one of the hubs of the world to a dumbed down and irrelevant Iran. I hope the counter revolution in Iran succeeds and it would be great to see the once great nation shrugging of the shackles of Islam and embracing their original religion but if at all that would surely take a century. True! She gets plenty of press on here but all bad I’m glad to say. I’d never heard of sarsour Before I found this very informative site and looking closely at her photos over the months I’m not totally convinced that the person we see has always been a woman. It has very masculine features and of course the tell tale Adam’s apple is always hidden.
There is a tradition in the Islamic world of dressing young boys up as girls and paying them to dance at weddings and parties. When travelling in the Middle East I have seen these things myself and this sarsour character looks just like the ones that have reached adulthood. It’s very sad really and I can understand why it’s so angry all of the time.

An excellent book to read on Iran and how the rise of Khomeini affected women there is called “Reading Lolita in Tehran” by Iranian author and professor Azar Nafisi. Published in 2003, it was on the New York Times bestseller list for over one hundred weeks and has been translated into thirty-two languages. She, as a young woman, protested against the Shah and wanted Khomeini as Iran’s leader. The book chronicles what happened to her as a woman and professor.
It is the perfect example of be careful what you wish for, you may get it!

You could not have stated it better. So called ‘Feminists’ in America have been conned and are falling for a deception that takes oppression and pretends it is empowerment. The dress of women in Iran is forcibly imposed on them, on threat of arrest and punishment. There is no choice involved.
