There is a fatwa (a legal ruling under Islam) calling for the destruction of religious icons, statues, etc. of non-Muslims. In the early days of Islam, the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, destroyed statues and criticized sculptors. In his fatwa, Grand Mufti Ali Gomaa said of the prophet Muhammad that sculptors will be among those receiving the harshest punishment on Judgment Day.
Devout Muslims of the Taliban have destroyed the iconic Buddhas of Bamiyan, smashed down the fabled “end of the world” gate in the ancient city of Timbuktu, and even called for the destruction of Egypt’s ancient pyramids and the Sphinx.
Deeply religious Muslim movements across the world have developed a reputation for the destruction of historic artifacts, monuments and buildings.

If nothing is worth getting “injured” for maybe you’d better stay home.
If I felt strongly about it I probably would have pepper sprayed him.
If the people watching were REAL Christians they wouldn’t have cared, or wouldn’t have allowed the trashy statue to be put there in the first place.

Why not try engaging your brain before typing nonsense. Someone wrote that “they just stood there watching”. Yes, bad enough, but the fact is that however ineffectually, one man did throw something at this Muslim loon. Oh, by the way, a few years ago on a Greyhound bus in Canada a mentally deranged man decapitated a fellow travellers with a knife. When the victim cried out, round where he was all the passengers on the bus fled from the scene. Not one person had the guts to intervene with, for example, one the fire bus’s fire extinguishes, or two of them grabbing the man and rather sticking the knife in the killer. So this cowardice is nothing new.

It is an important piece of information!! If this is happening in a Muslim country I have absolutely no problem and YES countries where atrocities happen are More important than the fact they happened, after all it is their countries, their laws not ours, let them solve THEIR own problems or destroy THEIR own countries. However, here is what we can focus on :
Build the wall along the US border
Stop Muslim Immigrant and Non-immigrant visa issuance to the US
Send US troops to secure the borders
Voila, problem solved!!

A lot of muslim countries used to be Christian countries until muslims invaded and destroyed everything then they became muslim countries, so ‘their’ countries used not be ‘their’ countries. This is the fate that they envisage for all Western countries.

There are better, more detailed videos of this atrocity, available. One shows how that vile creature was arrested .. Cops wearing kid gloves … That thing (moslem) has a chisel and a hammer. This is not the first time that a moslem attempted to destroy this statue. Once, a bomb was used. Other times, rocks and hammers. They always start with the breasts.

What I am trying to say is:
1. The fact that this happen in a muslim African country called Algeria and not in a Christian European country called Italy have a lot of emotional impact. Notice the comments on twitter from Americans and Europeans who believe this actually happened in Italy.
2. This is basically Muslim vs Muslim fight, the guy was mentally sick!

Sadly, the same thing could be said for many Christians (they don’t understand their own religion).
I had an orthodox Jewish man tell me that Christians told him that all they (Christians) are required to do is obey The 10 Commandments. WHAT??
Christ said in Matt 4:4 and Luke 4:4 that “man is to live according to every word of God”, (noting where changes were made in the N.T.).
What was once known as a “Christian Nation” (The U.S.A.) is now the Worlds leading producer and/or promoter of pornography, blasphemy, adultery, lieing, stealing, cheating, murder, fornication, homosexuality, the murder of unborn children etc.
God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah for less, and I put much of the blame for those things in America, on the filth spewing out of Hollywood & into our living rooms & movie theaters.
God told Abraham that He would spare Sodom & Gomorrah if there were 10 righteous people living there, and I believe that the only reason He hasn’t destroyed America yet is that, as He would have spared Sodom & Gomorrah, He has thus far refrained from destroying America because there are still some righteous people living here.
P.S. I thank God, that the tide in America is changing, and I can once again pledge allegiance to ‘the Republic for which it (the American Flag) stands’, when saying the National Anthem.

Contemplate that the old-time Muslims left much of the ancient past alone—they made few noises about the Pyramids and Sphinx and other relics of the distant past, along with the Buddhas at Bamiyan. If the religion was gone, the relics remained Iconoclasm was reserved for Christian images. Nowadays, the Muslims are more Muslim than the Prophet.

With this being a Muslim movement to rid places of historic statues, is this behind the movement to get rid of our Civil War and other historic statues? The Bible definition of a Christian is a “disciple” of Christ (someone who follows & obeys Christ, Acts 11:26).
Ever read in The Ten Commandments “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery”?
Christ said in Matthew 5:28 that if someone LOOKS at another person “to lust after them” they’ve ALREADY committed adultery in their heart. How can people look at that stuff all over Italy & other places & not lust?
