9 of the 10 top worst countries for Christian persecution are Muslim

62

North Korea (a thirty-million-man gulag) and nine Muslim countries. What do these oppressive, totalitarian, savage countries have in common? Everything.

The silence of the West is unforgivable. The inhumanity reflects the power, the choke-hold the left wing has on the West’s most powerful and influential institutions. But if we continue to work, share information, and educate those around us, we will be able to defeat these enemies of freedom and truth.

North Korea is worst place for Christian persecution, group says

By Kimberly Winston, Religious News Service | January 10, 2018

Story continues below advertisement

For the 16th year in a row, North Korea tops the list of 50 countries ranked for the worst persecution of Christians in the world, according to the Christian watchdog organization Open Doors USA.

A close second is Afghanistan, which jumped up one place since last year’s ranking. With the exception of North Korea, all the countries that cracked the top 10 are predominantly Muslim and most are in the Middle East and Africa.

“Open Doors exists to support and to advocate for persecuted Christians where ever they may be in the world,” Open Doors USA’s CEO and president, David Curry, said in announcing the list in Washington on Wednesday (Jan. 10). “We are asking that the world begin to use its power and its influence to push for justice, that we would use the list to direct us where justice is needed most in the world today.”

Curry also highlighted three trends Open Doors identifies as persecution against Christians — the rise of “rogue agencies” such as the Islamic State group and the North Korean government; “Islamic extremism”; and actions such as rape and forced marriage.

The list is compiled annually by Open Doors, whose researchers assign a point value to incidents of persecution — forced conversions, attacks on churches, arrests, etc. Open Doors has published its list for 26 years.

Islam and Christianity have always been enemies. Some Christians in the West try to overlook this fact, but the reality is most of their ideals are still very much incompatible.

Leftist or bleeding heart Christians are fools as they really think that the same pacifism that lost the middle east and all of North Africa will work against muslims. Pacifism does NOT work vs ideological or religious fanatics who lap up the ease with which they kill and conquer. The ONLY way to keep the ethics of JoN is to protect them by NOT using them in war. Then after the victory they will return. However after defeat they will be lost forever. This DOES apply to both the ME where the arabs were seen as allies and on north Africa where Islam was seen as just another religion.

Michele, it was not Byzantine “pacifism” that lost the Middle East, is was the declining Roman power that was defeated by the new tough guy on the block, Islam. After 400 years of Muslim Arab assault on southern Europe, southern Italy and Sicily in particular, the Iberian peninsula in 711AD taken over by the Muslims, the Muslims smashed by Charles Martel’s army at Tours in 732AD and sent packing, but mostly setbacks for Europe, Europe launched the crusades and turned the tables on Islam. But just read the accounts of Western liberal, mush-minded liar historians. To them it was Christian Europe that had no business retaliating to Muslim aggression and beating up the Muslims. In ignorance both of my sisters believe this liberal-inspired trash.

Hey!!! I am the one who has been pushing the fact that the fall of Rome was NOT due to the barbarians but islam and have done so since I was a teen. Do read up on the history of the attack on Egypt, the spread over north Africa which turned that shallow fertile area into desert (thanks to arab goats). the sectarian wars of idiotic Christianity on the ME which drained Byzantine strength long before the arabs came etc.
Those in the ME saw the arabs initially as allies in their sectarian wars while those in north Africa said “islam is just another religion”(famous last words). The barbarians were becoming soft and Romanized (mostly by becoming Christians) but their main effect was to further disrupt Roman unity and power to react. In addition Rome was a maritime trading economy and by 700AD the Mediterranean was an Islamic sea. History ignores the fact that by 750AD most western Mediterranean ports were virtually denuded of people by the razias and that 100s of 1000s of western romans died of starvation. The west only recovered when the Franks and the British both out of the reach of islam grew strong enough to fight back. Spain itself took 800 years and mostly alone to do so. I wont add anymore so you can dig into it yourself.

The fall of Western Rome and Rome itself, came about through its own degeneration, including corruption and citizens parasiting off the state – in reality socialism set in. Then along came the German tribes, Huns, Goths, etc who over-ran Rome, so Western Rome collapsed to the Germanic tribes. The eastern Roman Empire, the Greek Byzantine Roman Empire lasted far longer, till 1453AD, but by that time it was a shadow of the city it had been. The disgraceful Fourth Crusade ruined Constantinople. It recovered a bit, but then plague killed off half the city’s population. By 1453AD when Mehmed II’s Muslim Turk and mercenaries army arrived (after numbers of failed Muslim attempts) were only about 50,000 inhabitants and between only 15,000 and 20,000 defenders.
These Roman didn’t to become soft by becoming Christian. Under Constantine it became Christian and was strong until over hundred of years the usual human degeneration set it.
The Crusaders for all their shortcomings were Christian – even if some only in name – and with enormous endurance and courage the First Crusade fought against all odds across Anatolia to arrive at Antioch. Starving and exhausted (1 in 7 died of starvation) they eventually got inside the walled city and took over. Shortly thereafter the Muslim army of Kerbogha of Mosal arrived outside – between 45,000 and 80,000 – and those ‘soft’ Christians, by then about 20,000 in number – which was all that was left to fight – came out and defeated the Muslims. Only very few Muslims survived. Then, 1099, 12,000 crusades arrived outside Jerusalem and although outnumbered took the city – with some savagery.
It was the crusaders – at least nominally Christian – who stopped Islam from over-running western Europe.
The Franks were only “out of reach” of the Muslims because in 732AD when the Muslims invaded France they were thrashed by Charles Martel’s army in the Battle of Tours.
Now in the West we see it having become soft through abandoning its Judeo-Christian beliefs and becoming a mob of pagan, believe-in-nothing, liberal horse’s asses.

You forget for example Yugoslavia when broken up into Bosnia, Croatia by Hitler, and again after WW2 after Tito, In both cases Catholic Ustaše took Muslim Bosniaks as brothers

Hitler grew up Catholic and sided with the Handschar Waffen SS

With WW1 Germany took in the Ottoman Empire with Gallipoli, Dardanelles

You have to seperate Orthodox and Catholics, since the Great Schism 1054

I think that the total failure of the then pope to criticize the Nazis and Hitler (he was terrified of a Vatican invasion and of being deposed) had a role here as RC priests were second only to the jews in that they were extremely persecuted by the Nazis.
IMO as in Belgium and the Flems you assume that the Croatians were pro hitler on account of his aims and racist views NOT SO! Both were minority groups in a country and wanted independence which was indeed promised by Hitler but never seriously. That was why they fought on the side of the axis. There were individuals who were arrantly pro Nazi but it was not the primary aim.

Unfortunately the decision has been made by ‘Open Door’ and other organizations to only list the ’50 Worst Countries’ for persecution against Christians
– But there are 130+ countries where various levels of active persecution against Christians is ongoing – RIGHT NOW –
– Which is the ‘In-Process Fulfillment’ of that which “the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” personally said in John 16:2-3 [AV] :
“They shall put you out of the synagogues:
yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.”

Thank you Pamela for publishing this list. IMO people in our countries are too comfortable in our sufficiency to be too concerned about the plight of Christians in hostile countries.
I pray that people will consider donating to Open Doors or any other organisation that ministers to persecuted Christians; even buying poor families in Pakistan out of bonded slavery and providing them with homes?
They give very worthwhile aid and very little of donations go to administration costs.
Please pray for them too.

OT : electric cars are a way of ensuring that population mobility can be controlled or even stopped as storing energy requires a far higher overhead than storing petrol or diesel fuel. Think about it! On the farm we had tanks for both and even in fuel crises we had no problems. I cannot remember the capacity but 10k litres is possible.
At the turn of a switch they can immobilise ALL electric cars if not immediately then soon, and an immobile enemy is far easier to defeat. The hybrids are just a partial step in the electric car control of everyman’s mobility to buffer the worry.
This just dawned on me. Does anyone know more about this wolf in sheep’s clothing and IMHO part of the disarming and disenfranchisement of the west?

Bob Smith

Reply to  Michelle

There are other factors to consider. Hybrids are a little more economical and electric breaks the dependency on Muslim oil even further and that’s got to be a good thing. We could also consider the possibility of charging from home. Seems unlikely domestic electricity supplies would be cut off indefinitely. Then there’s solar for those in the right climate with enough sun. As for storing fuel.. yes on farms it’s possible and often necessary but most people cannot store enough fuel to make a significant difference.

Michelle
Michelle

Reply to  Bob Smith

I cannot disagree with most of that but just think that at the drop of a switch they could have the potential to immobilize a state or a county . While I dislike intensely the dependence upon muslim oil I am not certain that I want a leftist politician to be capable of depriving me of mobility as he does not like my politics. However I suppose that fuel pumps need power although solar panels are really no good for high amp needs as my brother found out when he was displaying his supposed independence from the grid (cost him ~500$ in repairs). I guess that I am thinking aloud and am incapable of trusting our leaders(?) apols : )

If Washington doesn’t consider a people who live to slaughter Christians and Jews, as it’s enemy but funds them and prosecutes any who offends them, then it must consider Christians and Jews as it’s enemy.
Ergo, Washington is an enemy to Christians and Jews and must be returned to it’s original moorings of its constitutional beginnings, with little power, as intended. Only we the people can do it.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Within 1 month of their arrival here the police had multiple reports of Sudanese theft but did NOTHING.
Those stats available to the public are often FALSE. I tried for years to find out the “official” muslim birth male/female ratio and failed(illegal gender abortion is rife as they need boys to marry/convert stupid infidel women) and failed and as I worked in the area I well knew the unofficial stats( ~7.5 to 1). In addition the ABC has their head so far up the muslim derriere that they all have Vit d deficiency and to quote them is pointless as they WILL NOT tell the truth..

Have you not read of priests being murdered (many still consider a Roman Catholic priest a Christian), entire busses of Roman Catholic school children, and nuns being kidnapped, and other sundry happenstance? Although, not an every day occurrence, there have been enough of these incidents to place both of those nations into the yellow category.
How does that undermine the premise of “dangerous”?

Truly trivial and on a par with bystanders caught up, compared with the systematic violence wreaked by the blood-soaked, sharp-toothed troglodytes bred by the Saud version of Wahabbism, condoned by Arabs in exchange for harboring murderous imams and devotees in their so-called “houses of worship” while scheming and protesting “islamophobia”. Do you honestly think your protestations of innocence are believed by those willing to put a stop to your butchery? Begone, you vile serpents of Hell, to the bowels of your false god, and rot there.

Well hello, edie. What protestations of innocence? I firmly believe that there is but one salvation for humankind. And, that is to put ALL moslems (the vilest of ALL creatures) to the sword, each and every last one of them. Are you on ‘shrooms, buttons, or both?

Edouardo Dundas

Neither. As a victim who has suffered and lost greatly at the hands of these savages, we took your words of moderation to be conciliatory – an excuse for lumping moslems with the rest of humanity. My words? I’m a pasty white, blue eyed, blond haired … old fart, originally a farm boy from Iowa (long ago). I offer no words of moderation or conciliation to moslems, as stated in my previous response to you, they (moslems) are the vilest of ALL creatures. You made inquiry as why mezko and cooloombia showed on that map. I politely responded with reason for said reference. Moreover, are you actually stupid enough to believe that a moslem would have a surname of “mohammedan”, which to a moslem is a severe insult? In other words, you have shown yourself to have the intellect of an aphid. You use a Scottish surname, in your moniker … obviously false. No Scot could be THAT inane.

it is a cult

The third, and most commonly used definition, refers to a religious group that is:

1) Exclusive. They may say, “We’re the only ones with the truth; everyone else is wrong; and if you leave our group your salvation is in danger.”

2) Secretive. Certain teachings are not available to outsiders or they’re presented only to certain members, sometimes after taking vows of confidentiality.

3) Authoritarian. A human leader expects total loyalty and unquestioned obedience.

It has been estimated that during the Aramean Genocide by Turkey, i.e. muslims, approximately 1 1/2 Million Arameans, i.e. Christians, were tortured, slaughtered, etc. by the religion of peace. This took place approximately 100 years ago.

All one has to do is look at the history record. Simply type in any search engine “dr bill warner islam youtube” to get an excellent insight into the fraud called the religion of peace. The term religion of peace can be applied to what Lenin said “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.”

You – and every other person have been given the choice by “the Lord God Almighty” to ‘Believe What Thou Wilt’ – for there is NOWHERE written in the 66 Books of “the law of God” that you must believe anything that He says

But – ‘The Truth’ is still ‘The Truth’ – even if no one likes it
– For “it is written” in John 8:31-32 [AV] :
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

As a ‘Biblical CHRISTian’ – I have chosen “through faith” to believe the entire “word of the Lord” – even the parts that I do not personally like
– For it is written in Proverbs 30:5-6 [AV] :
“Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
