House Votes Overwhelmingly To Stand With the People of Iran

17

The Republican-led House took a vote of solidarity with the protesting people of Iran, saying they were simply fighting a corrupt regime that was guilty of untold numbers of human rights abuses.

The vote comes shortly after Barack Obama weighed in on the widely reported protest movement — and advised America and the Donald Trump administration to stay silent on the matter.

No wonder — it was Obama, after all, that pressed forward the idea Iran was America’s new bestie during discussion and forced passage of the nuclear treaty deal.

Rep. Ed Royce has a different view than Obama’s, though. And apparently, so don’t Republicans in the House.

Royce wrote on his Facebook page:

Today, the House voted overwhelmingly to stand with the people of Iran, who are engaged in legitimate protests against an oppressive, corrupt regime. The Resoultion I introduced, which passed 415-2, condemns the Iranian regime’s human rights abuses and urges the Administration to use targeted sanctions to respond to the regime’s ongoing human rights violations. We must work together on an approach to Iran that empowers the Iranian people and targets the corrupt regime.

And he delivered some fiery remarks from the House floor. Watch here:

Is there any way to get back our hundreds of billions, that Obama stole from us …. to give to them?

Just to be fair, Obama didn’t steal anything from US tax payers.

The ~$100-150 Billions that were transferred to Iran under the terms of the infamous nuclear deal, belonged to the Iranian people all along but were frozen in US bank accounts that were effected by the sanction regime on Iran

The main problem with that reckless transfer of cash is the fact that the current Iranian regime, is a ultra aggressive, imperialistic state sponsor of terror and this cash, was a major booster to the Iranian violent, imperialistic, pretensions

Obama really screwed America / Israel / the west in such a way that will be very hard to undo

Actually, that was frozen funds, plus well over market interest. The well over market interest, amounted to close to fifty billion dollars, which was paid by the US Treasury. Also, well before the release, kindly note the monthly payments that went into several billions … those, also, were borne by Treasury. Yes, of the total given, close to eighty-five billion was releasing frozen assets, but … the rest came from the American taxpayer.

I didn’t know that, thanks for clarifying

At this point, the best way to recoup those lost billions, would be to make sure that the current regime is ousted and relations with a new, peaceful, more democratic Iran, will yield political / diplomatic / economic benefits for all involved

You are welcome, Tilt. I’m of a belief that there Is no way possible, for a democratic nation that is predominately moslem, to exist.

I agree, Islam in its core is anti Democratic, but if the damned Ayatollahs are removed, I believe the liberated Iranian people (at least the indigenous, dominant Persians), will strive to advance Iran a long way, toward the Democratic side of the spectrum

Granted, there is no homogenically Muslim society that has the capacity for achieving western level Democracy, the Islamic religion / mentality / culture / heritage / current social development level, all preclude that possibility…

Looks like McMaster is trying to get Trump to keep the Iran nuke deal. Why does Trump allow these traitors into his administration?

I really hope the Iranian people find freedom from their oppression.

Tyrants can rule by fear for awhile, but eventually people want something better out of life.

I also hope there’s a Martin Luther King Jr. equivalent in the Iranian resistance movement….a leader like him would help them gain international support tremendously.

How long do you think that a leader, like Dr. King, would stay alive in Iran?

A few minutes before the Musk services started, the congregation was kneeling on the floor praying.
Suddenly, Satan/muhammad appeared at the front of the Musk.
Everyone started cheering and running to get to the front of the musk, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get as close to the evil incarnate as they could.
Soon the Musk was filled with murderers which includied Bill Clinton
who sat calmly on the floor without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God’s ultimate enemy was in his presence.
So Satan/muhammed walked up to Bill and said, “Do you know who I am?”Clinton replied, “Yep, sure do.”
“Aren’t you afraid of me?” Satan/muhammed asked.”Nope, sure am not,” said the calm as a clam Clinton.
“Don’t you realize I can kill you with one word?” asked Satan/mohammed.
“Don’t doubt it for a minute,” returned Bill, in an even tone.
“Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying AGONY for all eternity?” persisted Satan/muhammed.”Yep,” was the calm reply.
“And you are still not afraid?” asked Satan.”Nope,” said Bill.
More than a little perturbed, Satan/muhammed asked, “Why aren’t you afraid of me?”
Clinton calmly replied,”Been married to your sister for over 40years..
