Around the same time Vice President Mike Pence was making clear the U.S. Embassy to Israel would be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem early in 2019, leaders with the European Union were scurrying to assure “Palestinians” they had a friend in them — that the regional governing body would support the establishment of eastern Jerusalem as a “Palestinian” state.
Federica Mogherini, the foreign policy chief for the European Union, seemed to make the announcement in direct defiance of President Donald Trump’s Jerusalem decision.

She said it to Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas at a meeting in Brussels.

The European Union’s foreign policy chief assured Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at a meeting in Brussels on Monday that the EU supported his ambition to establish the capital of a future Palestinian state in eastern Jerusalem.
Abbas in return repeated his call for eastern Jerusalem as capital as he urged EU member nations to recognize a Palestinian state immediately, claiming that this would not disrupt negotiations with Israel on a peace deal.
Federica Mogherini, in what appeared to be a veiled reference to US President Donald Trump’s recent recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel, called on those involved in the peace process to speak and act “wisely,” with a sense of responsibility.
Abbas made no reference to Trump’s move on Jerusalem or to comments on the issue made on Monday in Jerusalem by US Vice President Mike Pence.

Achmed. I have three not very expensive straight razors, aka Cutthroats. I doubt that any of them have more than one layer. That layer was enough to produce a bloodbath each time I tried to use them.
I finally threw in my bloody towel and returned to my quite old single edge razors which are, to me, sheer perfection. Their blades only have one layer and one cutting edge, various alloys of steel and occasionally coatings of different kinds. Enough to give me a minimum of 10 to 11 shaves in complete comfort and safety.
I do have a plain but beautiful Japanese Kamisori that has numerous uncounted by me layers. It, too, has a blood lust.
My favourite razors are Rolls with one layer of stainless steel that lasts forever. Some of those blades have been used for 4 generations.
Shaving is my hobby and great pleasure. I use all my safe razors in rotation. Every morning is a happy adventure.

Amen, Israel has been criticized by the West for protecting its citizens and sovereignty. I would like to see the reaction of an EU partner when their nation has missiles fired onto their cities by Arab/Islam nations. Hopefully, as mentioned, the average Briton will rise-up to fight to overthrow the Totalitarianism within the UK government. My better-half visits family every year in London; upon her return, she is gutted and despondent over the way Britain is not the nation she had left. I have great sympathies for your wife. I too have been experiencing culture shock in America as a Senior…..I no longer recognize the same safe, God-fearing country I grew up in……it is sickening…..and more so when I see and hear politicians -Libtards- spouting their hatred and vile against the very American citizens they are sworn to serve and protect…..defending us against both foreign and domestic enemies…..and being paid to do it…..

Well, it is once a year; she has been here for nearing five decades. As mentioned, it is a culture shock here at home, where one is a stranger/alien in their own land. Meanwhile, we are suppose to assimilate to another culture but the ‘interloping invaders’ don’t care to assimilate.Sadly, they get away with it. Sanctuary cities while our law-enforcement officers have to be politically correct, social-worker and psychologists. It is they whom are handcuffed not the scum passing through our borders. This is because of the Democrats, the so-called progressives and RINOS whose concerns are not the security of the nation and its citizens but the vote.
I am grateful for old age; however, hold concern for the younger generations who are being brainwashed by every wannabe Marxist, Bolshevik and Fascist. Take care, try to find some positivity; it’s extremely hard.

The EU, a friend to Palestine, is going to see that there is a capital for them in Israel? Been a long time since I looked at a map, where is the nation of Palestine, how do her borders run around Jerusalem? How does the EU have any say as to whom has claim to Jerusalem? Something tells me that the people already living there, you know, Jews, might have something to say about that. Like the European Union has any say as to what goes on in Israel. The EU hardly has any say in what goes on in their own respective countries being overrun by Islam. No I don’t think Israel is going to heed this advice, and rightfully so. There is no Palestine the Palestinians have no homeland. Put them on an island somewhere far far away with no rocks and see how they do. Palestinians are another cancer upon humanity! They need to be eradicated!

The UK went down the rabbit hole starting in Tony “Obummer buddy” Blair’s time as PM….and has continued spiraling down ever since…..not sure how much lower than can go….but most people I know who planned a trip there…..have now cancelled and do not see ever being able to go….
…a few months back two “snowflake” American college girls went there to attend college….within days a Muslim woman in full garb walked up to them and threw acid in their faces…..apparently these girls and their Libtard parents didn’t get the memo…..the whole of the UK is now called Englandstan……and they are scarred for life….

In this Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia from 1972, in the chapter corresponding to Flags of the Nations, I can see every flag of the countries existing in 1972.
However, the ”palestine” flag is missing. It’s non existent.Nada.Zero. Rien.
