Police in Israel just arrested two Arabs, ages 18 and 19, on suspicion of beating two men in Jerusalem and forcing them to convert to Islam.
The incident reportedly occurred on Shabbat.
The victims were two Ultra-Orthodox Jews from Jerusalem.

Two Arab residents of eastern Jerusalem, ages 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of attacking two young men in the city last Shabbat, according to an Israel Police tweet Tuesday morning. The tweet added that police suspect the two of cursing their two victims, beating them and fleeing the scene. The suspects will be brought to extend their remand in court shortly, the tweet concluded.
But a report from the Honenu legal aid society The Jewish Press online received two hours later, describes a terrifying event that violated not only the two victims’ bodies but their souls.
The victims, two Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) men from Jerusalem, approached Honenu on Monday with the shocking details of their ordeal. They reported that while they were being beaten, their two attackers forced them to utter the Arabic verses of the “testimony” of the conversion to Islam. They were also forced to praise the terrorist organization Hamas, and curse the State of Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu –while their attackers were documenting the event on video.
Honenu Attorney Haim Bleicher, who immediately contacted the police and pushed for the rapid arrest of the terrorists, said that this was a serious anti-Semitic incident, which is unique even in these volatile times in the city.
“Every day I treat victims of terror, but this a different kind of incident,” Bleicher said. “It’s an event that reminds us of the darkest days when Jews were humiliated and trampled. The attackers not only physically harm their victims, but they also humiliated them, forcing them to u

Michelle, that was the question I was going to ask. When does ‘open season’ start on Muslims, as muslims have declared open season for, oh, 1,400 years now, on non-believers? No one is safe from muslims. Why are muslims safe from anyone? They’ve openly, and always, declared war on non-believers. What is it about non-believers, that they won’t ‘believe’ what muslims say and do?

And I was once a pacifist who learnt(the hard way) that pacifists are parasites who have other people dying to enable them to be pacifists. Anything good that is under threat has to be protected or it will be lost and right now that means that the war of 1400 years needs to be fought once gain and this time to be fought properly with no rules other than that of winning. This will be a war where ethics will destroy us and we must pause them while it is waged or they will be lost forever.
It is not just the western lifestyle that is under threat but humanity itself as a sharia world will have no one left to parasitize as it is western efficiency and largesse that keep much of the world alive. Within 100 years of sharia I expect humans to drop to 1 billion. By 200 years 50m million. That is why we must kill them as they are a blight upon humanity.

The reverse is true of immigrants, whose goal is to entice or force citizens to make a covenant with them, and worship their god.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems that you don’t understand who this “Jewish” God is. I thought about the same as you did when I first read the Old Testament about sixty years ago — that He is only the God of wrath and justice, but not the God of love and mercy. My understanding back then was He became the God of mercy in the New Testament. But the truth is, He has not changed, but is the same eternal God from everlasting to everlasting, showing mercy to those who call upon Him, but judges or chastens those who do wrong.
After becoming a Christian and being filled with HIs Spirit, I had a better understand of the Scriptures, although I still don’t understand everything. Neither have I stopped learning.
In Malachi 3:6 RSV), we read, “For I the LORD do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.” Although His wrath was against Israel for sinning, His ultimate plan for that nation has not changed, because He is faithful to His covenant.
In the New Testament (Hebrews 13:8), we read, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.” This implies that Jesus, the Son, is as much God as His Father. But He became the perfect sacrifice to atone for all sin for all time (Hebrews 10:11-12).
So, why did God choose Moses to lead Israel from Egypt to the promised land? Why did he have to deal with so much of the people’s rebellion all 40 years in the wilderness, and then be denied entrance into that promised land? I don’t have all the answers, except that Moses and his brother Aaron “blew a gasket” at one point, striking the rock twice instead of speaking to it as the LORD commanded.
I often asked myself, “Why did God choose me in any position of leadership, the least among those who had so much success?” I sometimes felt I got a “raw deal” when He chose me. Again, I don’t have answers, except that Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 said, “….but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong, God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.”

We all have beliefs we hold to be self-evident, & one of mine is that the old testament God is not the same as the new testament God. I have heard from many that Moses was treated correctly by God, but I don’t believe that he was. Personally speaking, as the owner of a bad temper myself, I might very well have acted similarly as Moses did, upon finding that the people I had spent so much time saving were not worth the effort.
I think it’s great that God chose the underdog, as I often do in my daily dealings, but it is clear to me that Moses was not rewarded in a way that I would have wished, had I been in his position.
In addition, God never bothered to notify me and other Jews that He was gonna do a major revision in His belief system, which is why we have Christians & Jews insisting that our God is that one over there, and Your God is the other one, over here.

I hope my comment is not considered to be impolite, but if those two in the film and the two in the article refuse to defend themselves IN Israel, where are they going to have the courage to do it ?
The clip shows them being pelted with snow balls, tough, throw some back, we understand there is a “political edge” to that, but to cave and cower is not the answer, the other side will respect a display of courage not a cringe and whimper.
