This is an illuminating article about how Wikipedia manipulates its “Guidelines” in order to present the heroes of the left in the most flattering possible light, while allowing for the vilification and demonization of defenders of freedom. Wikipedia pages of conservative leaders routinely feature massive sections of criticism, including everything negative that Wikipedia editors can find to throw in. Leftists’ Wikipedia pages, by contrast, border on hagiography in their adulation of their subjects.
So it is no surprise that Wikipedia editors would rush to cover up the allegations that Sarsour enabled and was indifferent to sexual assault at the Arab American Association. They don’t want anyone thinking anything negative about her, and don’t care how inconsistent they have to be in applying their guidelines in order to protect her.
This pro-jihad, pro-sharia, Jew-hating savage can do anything, say anything, and will be given space in the Washington Post to clean up her messes, and photo spreads in Glamour to glamorize her misogynist hijab, and Wikipedia editors to cover up the devastation that she leaves in her wake. The enemies of freedom still have control of the culture, and that must be broken.

The recent allegations that American-Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour rejected a female colleague’s accusations of sexual harassment in the workplace has led to suggestions that pro-Palestinian editors at Wikipedia are keeping the story off Sarsour’s page in order to defend her public image.
On December 17, a website called The Daily Caller first reported that Sarsour had been accused of “enabling the alleged sexual assault and harassment of a woman [Asmi Fathelbab] who worked for the feminist activist” at the Arab American Association of New York in 2009. Donald Trump Jr. retweeted the story the following day, presumably only-too-happy to shine a negative light on the woman Politico has described as the “face of the resistance to Donald Trump.” Sarsour herself rejected the accusations, telling Buzzfeed, “This is character assassination. This is where we have to draw the line.”
Though it is common for political disputes to play out on Wikipedia – for example, pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian editors fighting over contentious topics like Jerusalem’s status – Sarsour’s case highlights how the Israel-Palestine issue can sometimes trump other important ones.
#MeToo and personal vendettas
After an Israeli editor called Icewhiz edited Sarsour’s Wikipedia page to include the allegations (Fathelbab related that Sarsour had dismissed her harassment accusation because the accused was a “good Muslim” who was “always at the Mosque”), a Turkish editor called Seraphim System deleted Icewhiz’s edit, claiming it was “unsuitable” for the Sarsour article. When Icewhiz attempted to reintroduce his content, his entry was again deleted.
This is not the first time these two editors have crossed paths. A review of their respective contributions to Wikipedia reveals a long-standing political feud that has played out on articles for Israel, Turkey, Jerusalem and even “Israel and the apartheid analogy.” Their history set the tone for the debate that ensued.
When another pro-Israel editor again added a new paragraph about Sarsour and the allegations (including her denial to Buzzfeed), a full edit war broke out. More pro-Palestinian editors joined the fray, fighting the attempts to integrate what they described as defamatory content to the Sarsour article.
However, intersectionality and Sarsour’s dedication to feminist causes left those arguing her corner having to explain why the allegations were not deemed “Wikipedia-worthy.”
“These allegations are widely reported by several reliable sources. Our usual policy (exercised recently quite frequently with the #MeToo revelations) with public figures is to include such allegations when they are made publicly and reported, qualifying that said allegations are allegations – not fact,” one editor wrote on Sarsour’s “Talk page” – a forum page linked to every Wikipedia article where editors are expected to discuss changes in a civil manner.
Seraphim System pushed back, seeking to undermine both the sources reporting the claims against Sarsour and the allegations themselves: “The sourcing is not very good (Fox News, Buzzfeed and the Daily Caller). It is only one person [Fathelbab] who says Sarsour didn’t believe her. It is only gossip – just because reliable sources report something, that does not mean it is suitable for Wikipedia.”
“This is certainly relevant given her outspokenness on women’s issues,” the second pro-Israeli editor retorted. I “concur that this material belongs in article [sic] because of her self presentation as an outspoken feminist,” wrote a third pro-Israeli editor, called E.M. Gregory.
The “Talk page” for the Linda Sarsour article.The debate soon escalated out of control, with both sides accusing the other of hypocrisy. “Whaw. Just whaw. I haven’t seen worse hypocrisy or double standards for years. Yes, I’m looking at you, Icewhiz, and you E.M. Gregory: Recall [the debate] over the Elie Wiesel molestation allegations?” wrote Huldra, a female editor who has contributed to articles related to the Palestinians.
“My opinion about including/not including this here is the same as in the Wiesel case: Unless there are several other instances, this stays out of the article,” she wrote.
“Why not? All the #MeToo allegations, even if denied, were added in Wiki,” the second pro-Israeli editor responded, attempting to see the content returned to the article.
Huldra then seemed to suggest a problematic compromise: If the allegations against Sarsour are to be published in Wikipedia, then the community of editors should also add the allegations against Wiesel. “Make your choice,” she wrote, deleting the allegations to the article again and demanding that anyone wanting to add them should first file an arbitration request with Wikipedia calls a “Request for comment.”
The deft usage of Wikipedia guidelines and procedures are part and parcel of Wikipedia’s collective-editing process. However, in Sarsour’s case, there are a number of instances where seemingly pro-Sarsour editors are making use of Wikipedia’s rules to defend her personally rather than the actual content being debated. Moreover, one contributor tells Haaretz, it seems that at least two of these editors are using their Wikipedia status to defend the Sarsour article for non-encyclopedic purposes.
Abuse of power?
The main contributor to the Sarsour article is an editor called Sangdeboeuf, who also enjoys quite a senior status on Wikipedia, where they are frequently involved in policy debates. Judging by their past edits, Sangdeboeuf’s interest are mostly progressive issues that veer toward the left side of identity politics – most recently editing pages like male privilege.
Sangdeboeuf was extremely active in defending Sarsour from the allegations, writing: “I don’t think anyone’s disputing that the allegations were made. But saying that they have therefore been verified and corroborated is frankly laughable.”
However, as the debate escalated, some of Sangdeboeuf’s actions started raising eyebrows. For example, although deleting another person’s edits is customary on articles, it is not customary on the “Talk page.” Yet there are at least five instances where Sangdeboeuf edited the debate itself. For example, while the debate was labeled “Alleged enabling of sexual assault and harassment,” Sangdeboeuf renamed it “Asmi Fathelbab allegations,” shifting the onus from Sarsour to the accuser….

A few basics on sharia that are worth public discussion.
• A Muslim will not be subject to retaliation (prosecution) if he kills an apostate, since it is someone who deserves to die.
• Parents and grandparents will not be prosecuted for killing their offspring or offspring’s offspring. This law is significant to getting those who honor kill off the hook.
• A Muslim will not be executed for killing a kaffir (non-Muslim).
• It is obligatory for a Muslim to lie if the purpose is obligatory, such as fulfilling Allah’s commandments of jihad.
• Slander and exaggeration is allowed if the purpose is lawful. No guilt or shame should be associated with slander of the perceived enemy, and if it is for protecting Islam and for the benefit of Muslims.
• Sharia has no respect for sovereignty of other nations and non-Muslims, because of the doctrine of jihad, defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion.”
• It is a capital (enormity) crime for any Muslim who chooses to “Not perform jihad or flee from combat with (kaffir) unbelievers.”
• It is the duty of every Muslim head of state (Caliph) to wage jihadist wars against non-Muslim nations, especially neighboring ones. Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.
• A Caliph could hold office through seizure of power meaning through force.
• A Caliph is immune (Maasum), exempt, from charges of murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking, and in some cases of rape.
• A manmade government (legal system), such as democracy, is an abomination and must be eliminated.
• A percentage of Zakat (alms) must go towards jihad.
• It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph even if he is unjust.
• A caliph must be Muslim, not a slave, and male.
• The Muslim public must remove the Caliph if he rejects Islam or refuses to rule by Sharia.
• A non-Muslim cannot inherit from a Muslim.
• No testimony in court is acceptable from people of low-level jobs, such as street sweepers or bathhouse attendants. Women in low-level jobs are not awarded custody of children in case of divorce.
• A non-Muslim cannot rule, even over a non-Muslim minority.
• Homosexuality is punishable by death.
• Women are forbidden from becoming president or judge.
• There is no age limit for marriage of girls. The marriage contract at any age after birth and consummation of marriage at age 8 or 9.
• A husband has the right to beat his wife and does not have to say why to her family or police.
• Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband’s obligation to support her, gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home.
• Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as saying: “I divorce you,” and is effective even if the husband says he did not intend it.
• A wife has no right to divorce her husband, even if he is polygamous, with additional wives.
• A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married, her marriage is annulled.
• There is no community property between a husband and his wife/wives.
• A woman inherits half what a man inherits.
• Parents have the legal right to perform female genital mutilation on minor daughters.
• A man must pay the woman dowry to be given in exchange for his right to her sexual organs.
• A rapist may only be required to pay money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.
• A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married her marriage is annulled.
• A woman’s testimony in court is half the value of a man.
• A woman loses custody of her children if she remarries.
• To prove rape a woman must have four male witnesses.
• A woman must cover every inch of her body, which is considered awrah (a sexual organ). Exposing face is allowed by most, but not all Sharia schools.
• A Muslim man will not be prosecuted if he kills his wife if caught in the act of adultery. However, the opposite is not true since husband “could be married to the woman he was caught with.” Thus loyalty is only expected from wife, and not the husband.
• Free speech is unprotected and harshly punished if it involves any criticism of Muhammad, Islam or Sharia itself. Both Muslim and non-Muslim critics of Muhammad will be executed even if they repent.
• The banking system must be Sharia-compliant.
• A government must rule by Sharia and a Muslim head of state.
Look at any islamic state, they are hog wallows with muslims instead of hogs.

As as I found out maybe 1. historian that found out that Islam’s founder Muhammad actually started the enslavement of Africans (claiming his deity turned Africans black so their descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks) I edited an anti-Jewish Wikipedia page that was about a Ham-theory twice.
No truth allowed at Wikipedia, Facebook & the education-system.
Muhammad also engaged in pederasty (read it on Wikiislam).

This is very common in wikipedia, for all sorts of articles. For instance, in the past, Scientology trolls deleted negative information about the church in its article.
The thing is, any troll can be an “editor” and twist the bias of the articles to fit his/her agenda. So it’s likely that Cockroach buddies or even herself edited the page to fit their goals.
However wikipedia works over a versioning system. Any alteration is logged and tracked and can be reversed by the admins.
So these article wars are basically a tiresome cat and mouse game.

Anyone else who wants to can come right behind them and edit whatever the 1st person wrote so that it says something else and what they would prefer for it to say. Wikipedia is a foul leftist hate sheet. When I edited a page for well known Marxist/Islamist called John Rees to reflect his far left Trotskyite beliefs & opinions it was immediately changed back (and locked) to be more asinine & deceitful.
Similarly Jack Posobiec is slandered as an “alt right” (something which he denies) “conspiracy theorist” and his page is locked (by editors who appear to be UK Marxist “academics”.)
I emailed Wikipedia to challenge this far left orthodoxy and I received an insulting email in return.

I contributed to wikipedia, both financially and as an editor, but do so no more. My main subject is the Marxist mother of the Catholic left, Dorothy Day. For years her wikipedia entry indicated that not all idolized her, and presented information that was critical as well as that approving her. Now the page–like Linda Sarsour’s–has been taken over by leftists, who have removed all critical sources, and is a masterpiece of leftist hagiography. I just read the entire Linda Sarsour page on Wikipedia to see how biased it is. It seemed to me all issues were covered. Certainly not with the vindictiveness and hatred I would write, but it was done in a way that is appropriate to an encyclopedia. I am a supported of Wikipedia (with annual cash donations) and rely on it for much of my research. The editors work very hard to present a neutral view, and that is what I see on the Sarsour article. The fact that I personally hate everything she stands for does not change my opinion. Wikipedia is not the place to capture our hatred for someone. It needs to just state the facts, and leave it to each of us to interpret it as we wish. This latest controversy is a tempest in a tea pot. At the bottom of it all is a single accusation that was picked up by three outlets. It is not sufficient to create a big storm over. Wait for more collaborating evidence before condemning Wikipedia.

As someone who has made several thousand edits there in the past when I was a teenager, Wikipedia is a VERY heavily left-wing source of info.
Many editors who change the pages often have agendas and blind spots of their own, removing and adding info to suit their personal views. Once, a Muslim user tried to get an article on a past conflict deleted because he felt it reflected badly on Muslims (who lost the war to infidels).

If you study the life of Muhammad, you can’t help but learn what a despicable character he was. He began with robbing caravans in Medina and went on from there to slaughtering Jews to the point of genocide. As a warlord, he launched over 65 military campaigns of conquest and was proud of employing terror to maximum effect as a military strategy. (He stated “I have been made victorious through terror” [Bukhari: 4.52.220]). In fact, he was the first Islamic terrorist.
He tortured, raped, pillaged, and enslaved. He got his rocks off with little girls like a common pedophile. All this is indisputable if you read the Quran, Suna, and Hadiths instead of listening to the platitudes and outright lies of Muslims. These days everything is on record there on the internet and can’t be hidden.
However, that doesn’t mean “All Muslims” are like Muhammad, fortunately. Many are only culturally Muslim. Others have never actually read their own “holy” scriptures. Others rationalize Muhammad’s actions and make excuses for them.
As a professional I work with people of a broad variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and that would include Muslims. However, since they are men and don’t dress any differently I can’t even be certain who is a Muslim and who isn’t, not do I care. As stated, I am a professional and and don’t involve myself personally. We all go to work and do our job and at the end of the day go home to our private lives. I have never had a problem with a Muslim on a personal level.
I am a person who makes an effort to get along with others no matter what their beliefs are, as long as they are not attacking me. I also take pride in the effort and amount of research I have done to learn the actual truth about Islam. This wasn’t easy as I began from a neutral position and did not want to believe the worst and needed to do a lot of research before I was convinced.
I resent being called a bigot. You have no right. You don’t know me. Nor can you write off everybody else here so easily. You must be honest with yourself and admit at least that the fundamentals of Islam are problematic, even if your relatives are good people.
You must understand that people are fed up with Islamic terrorism and there is bound to be blow back. There are indeed many people here who will tell you they hate Muslims, but can you blame them?
