What? Wife of Demoted DOJ Official Actually Worked for Anti-Trump Dossier Firm in 2016

Bruche Ohr was demoted from his Department of Justice slot for holding secret meetings in 2016 with British intel operative Christopher Steele and with Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Washington-based research firm Fusion GPS.

Here’s a bit of a background on Ohr’s demotion:

Well now, as it turns out, Ohr’s wife actually worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 campaign season.

Snakey, anyone?

The Right Scoop has more:

Remember Bruche Ohr, the DOJ official who was demoted last week for secret meetings with Glenn Simpson and Christopher Steele in 2016? Well it turns out that Ohr’s wife actually worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 election:

FOX NEWS – A senior Justice Department official demoted last week for concealing his meetings with the men behind the anti-Trump “dossier” had even closer ties to Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the incendiary document, than has been disclosed, Fox News has confirmed: The official’s wife worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 election.

Contacted by Fox News, investigators for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) confirmed that Nellie H. Ohr, wife of the demoted official, Bruce G. Ohr, worked for the opposition research firm last year. The precise nature of Mrs. Ohr’s duties – including whether she worked on the dossier – remains unclear but a review of her published works available online reveals Mrs. Ohr has written extensively on Russia-related subjects. HPSCI staff confirmed to Fox News that she was paid by Fusion GPS through the summer and fall of 2016.

Fusion GPS has attracted scrutiny because Republican lawmakers have spent the better part of this year investigating whether the dossier, which was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, served as the basis for the Justice Department and the FBI to obtain FISA surveillance last year on a Trump campaign adviser named Carter Page.

“The House Intelligence Committee,” Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told Fox News in a statement on Monday, “is looking into all facets of the connections between the Department of Justice and Fusion GPS, including Mr. Ohr.”

We know that both Hillary Clinton and the DNC were funding Fusion GPS and the anti-Trump dossier, and now we find out a very senior official in the DOJ’s own wife was working for the company?

The corruption goes almost all the way to the top it seems. Are we going to find out next that he was pushing the FBI to investigate this anti-Trump dossier and was paid by Hillary to do so?

Is there anyone in the country with a brain and the willingness to kick these jerks hard where they need to be kicked?

Well, Jeff Sessions hasn’t a clue and he’s in charge. What a shockingly poor choice for AG this man was. Just listen to him and watch him, duh!

Thought he would have done more. Maybe there’s skeletons in his closet progressives can drag out.

It does look like a lot of conservatives – the true ones – are turning up the heat in congress on the fbi and doj. Ironically the progressives are falling daily along with some democrat rhinos. Its the rats on the sinking ship syndrome in many ways but these liberal rats got used to the cheese on the ship.

Gateway Pundit just cited a Fox report that listed [her] “as working for the CIA’s Open Source Works department in a 2010 DOJ report.”

Plus, Sundance over at CTH asks: ‘Why would she apply for a Ham Radio License a month after Fusion GPS contracted with MI6 agent Christopher Steele?’ Answer: ‘One way to ensure communications with parties external to the U.S. can be secure would be the use of HAM radio operations.’

Ham radio frequencies cannot be encrypted… so, yeah, sure.
Let them use Ham frequencies and “ahem” will have made fake news.
Oh, and anybody with a scanner will know.
ffs.

I was merely quoting what Sundance wrote, b-hole.

Ham radio still used morse code, there are not a lot of people around who can decipher it, fewer that can actually find the signals. If Ham radio is used, it would be very easy to hide messages among the many operating stations. Even computerized decoding equipment is not reliable when reading hand sent signals. And yes, I do know how to use Ham radio.

It is sometimes nice to use a stand alone system that relies completely on the individual, not a vast corporate infrastructure.

What she did can be used to establish a circumstantial evidence case along with other evidence of conspiring to collude. No one looking at everything turning up and say with a straight face she was just all of a sudden interested in ham radios.

It stands to reason. How would you like to exchange messages with her on Skype? She is uglier than a wooden keg full of a**holes.

Very good, ahem. Ham makes sense. Muslims love it. But seriously, anyone who’s used it knows how inherently complex it is. A Tech Class would give her the ability to go a lot of places. Morse Code, Radio Teletype and DATA. This can be easily encrypted (although *mostly* illegal), hard to isolate the band, and while intercepting signal in the wild, almost impossible to identify. Scanner? Really?
What is most puzzling is why go to such lengths? This borders, if not crosses, sedition.

It is a truly pathetic picture. The enemy is within and being left within to thwart efforts to change a corrupt system.

There’s more. Another of Mueller’s team, Peter Strzok, was exchanging text messages with his girlfriend, also an FBI agent, and the anti-Trump comments were so racy, prejudicial, and profane the on air commentators had to skip certain portions or leave them to your imagination or interpretation.

Demoted? …

This is why we are losing. If this was a ‘right’ side type – or a pro-American – he would be tarred and feathered and driven out of DC with MSM and celebs hooting and hollering all the way.

This guy needs to be fired – and forfeit his retirement – ie… he should be treated the way an American is treated when he is replaced by an illegal or a foreigner.

The depths of outright corruption and conflicts of interest are so deep and pervasive that the Mueller investigation has lost all credibility. Tell me, what one shred of evidence has his team uncovered in their original mission of discovering Russian collusion in the 2016 election after a one year search?

Rob Porter
Rob Porter

And Bruche Ohr was only demoted, not fired! Have his instincts and attitude toward the President changed? No. Given another opportunity would Ohr again do what he did? Yes. Yet he was not fired! Jeff Session’s Department of Justice is a compromised, contaminated disgrace and he is a gutless clown who should be fired for not possessing the moral fibre and good judgment to clean up the department.

These are more examples of the juiced up progressives who apparently see no problem enabling an anti-American insurrection agenda ironically at odds with their self-aggrandizement agenda. If one didn’t know this daily uncovering of more and more goons was actual reality then perhaps the smiling sell-outs wouldn’t seem as tragic.
