Outside of the Muslims trying to kill me, aided and abetted by their lackeys in media and academia, leftist (secular) Jews are my most vicious adversaries. Prime Minister Netanyahu is right. I’ll go one step further. It’s already begun: not only are these Jews disappearing, they are aligning with the anti-Jewish annihilationist movement.
Not just two hours ago, young leftist Jews were protesting against the wonderful Israel program, “Birthright.” I know scores of young Jews who have gone on Birthright, and it was a once in a lifetime, transformative experience. The gift of a trip to Israel from Birthright Israel is designed to offer an educational peer experience. Birthright, is a not-for-profit educational organization that sponsors free ten-day heritage trips to Israel for young adults of Jewish heritage, aged 18–26. These young kapos were protesting against Birthright Israel. Pamela Hall will be filing a full report on the Jewish Voice for Peace protest against the Jewish state later. These same young kapos were standing in support of pro-sharia, pro-jihad antisemite Linda Sarsour late last week. They support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction Israel movement on college campuses led by Muslim Jew-haters.

Netanyahu: Non-Orthodox American Jewry Will Disappear in a Generation or Two
By Jewish Press News Briefs – December 3, 2017:In closed conversation with individuals involved in Israel-Diaspora relations, Prime Minister Netanyahu last week said that Non-Orthodox Jewry in North America would disappear within a generation or two, and low birth rates among Progressive Jews would be the primary cause of the collapse of their demographic group, according to a report by Ariel Kahane in Makor Rishon.
Israeli Ambassador to the the US Ron Dermer made similar observations in the past.
Netanyahu further said that the high assimilation rates in the non-Orthodox sectors constitutes a threat to their very continued existence, and Israel should prepare for the day when the support base of North American Jews will no longer be there.
Recent studies have shown that as many as 80% of non-Orthodox Jews have married non-Jews, and expensive private Jewish education in the US is forcing parents to send their children to public schools, further diminishing their Jewish connection.
In addition, the Reform and Conservative movements have begun taking a very hostile attitude towards Israel, which impacts negatively their communities’ Jewish identity.
Netanyahu estimated that within a generation or two, support for Israel from the non-Orthodox demographic groups will be close to zero.
According to the report, Netanyahu believes Israel must continue to embrace the non-Orthodox communities and not give them the cold shoulder, but in the long-term it is not worthwhile to over-invest in helping them retain their Jewish identity and connection to Israel, since it is impossible to stop their descent into assimilation.
Israel will need to rely more on America’s pro-Zionist Orthodox Jewry, whose love and connection to Israel is stronger than ever. In addition, Israel needs to strengthen its connections with pro-Israel Christians, whose political and electoral clout are growing.
Netanyahu’s office responded to the Makor Rishon report stating that it isn’t accurate, and does not represent the views of the Prime Minister. “The Prime Minister respects all the streams of Judaism,” his office said.

Thank you Izlamis: I often laugh when I see people congregate together wanting to not integrate and would rather keep and bring their past culture mores with them. So as an American who should I identify with? People are even wanting to die and kill in the name of their culture! To quote Rodney Brown, “can’t we all just get along”. In a convoluted way, this reminds me of Nimrod’s kingdom who wanted to build the tower. You know the story. God scattered them to different languages so they could not ‘globalize’ and work together to thumb their nose to God.

What is actually happening is that Liberal Jews are thining in numbers due to about a 50% intermarriage rate.
However Orthodox Jewry are increasing exponentially all over the world, including Israel The paradox is that the Orthodox tend to be about 80% politically conservative with similar mores to Evangelicals.

The Jews, with which I am familiar, that have married outside of their “faith” … Their husbands may not have converted, but they attend Shabbat services, typically the Saturday morning, as opposed to Friday night, and their children all attend Jewish pre-schools and elementary schools, up to Junior High.
It’s the liberal Jew that marries a liberal Jew that produce the ultra liberal Jew hating Jews.

I know of no other religious or ethnic group, besides the Jews, of course, that advocates on behalf of its enemies.
I understand Pamela Geller’s frustration, and indeed, the images of the young Jews in this piece are very disconcerting.
Then again, If despicable behavior becomes associated with Jews, all the assimilation in the world will not alter the effulgence of a rising anti-Semitism.
One need only look at the news these last years to appreciate the extent that association has been given credence.
Part of the problem is inherent in Jewish culture itself, which puts too much emphasis on intellectualism, and not enough on the pursuit of honor. Indeed, as Orwell said – “Some ideas are so absurd that only intellectuals believe them.”
In any case, I agree that this article is sad, and all the more so because the predicament of Jewish self-loathing seems to be immutable.

I’d take this report with a grain of salt and view it with skepticism as Netanyahu disavows the report. He has to appease his coalition, the ultra Orthodox Shas Party, to name one, who want to view themselves as the only true Jews. But the non-Orthodox Diaspora in the US is still strong and can not be dismissed as lost Jews. The JVP is not the future.
My local Reform temple is deeply dedicated to Jewish learning and stalwart support of Israel. Yes, they welcome converts and accept interfaith couples, but the result here has been an increase in religious knowledge and numbers within the Jewish community, not a decrease. This is what I have observed over the last thirty seven years. Perhaps that’s just a local phenomenon but this is not the first time in Jewish history when converts have entered the flock. It’s certainly not the end of the world.

No problem with true conversions. Wasn’t all that long ago the reform movement attempted to do away with circumcision. For the most part the torah scrolls in reform temples aren’t true scrolls. All of reform is nothing short of ersatz Judaism, fake, fake FAKE! 75% intermarriage isn’t happening among the orthodox. Why? there’s not much fake about their practices of Judaism.

Hello, RCCA. I have had some Reformed Rabbis as friends. One, was a very close friend. Stephen Fink was a great guy. Funny story, when he was at B’nai Jeshurun, in Des Moines, Iowa .. I took him pheasant hunting. He didn’t drop any upland game, but he did bag a rabbit (not kosher, but .. well, it was a clean kill). I picked up his rabbit and did the old “squeeze” gutting, checked the liver for spots … and handed it back to him. I told him that, in the tradition(s) of rabbit hunting, on the first kill, I would have to smear some of the blood on his forehead. At first, he didn’t realize that it was a joke and was a tad set off. In any event, Steve kept kosher, but his mother and, still living grandmother, would eat the rabbit. His grandmother was really proud of him. Took him deer hunting, later that year (second season, so two tags), filled his tags for him, hung “in skin” to age, skinned, hung another two days … and he helped me butcher them. He was a great guy. The next year, although he never bagged a pheasant, he did fill his own deer tags (two) … I believe that he was thrilled. Although I’m a pasty white Calvinist, I was a member of that temples “Brotherhood” for a few years. Honestly, one of the finest groups of men that I have ever had the pleasure, and honor, to have known.
I have a tendency to make very short stories exceedingly long. The point of this reply is that the majority of interfaith marriages, at least where the bride is Jewish, after the first child they join a Conservative Synagogue, as opposed to a Reformed Temple. I know several instances of this. In these several instances of this, with which I am familiar, none of the husbands converted. The girls were raised Reformed .. but they joined a synagogue and sent their children to Jewish pre-schools and elementary schools. I have never understood why they didn’t simply join their temple … but … life is filled with mysteries.

I am not an expert on him, but I have read press coverage describing him of “Jewish Parentage” or “of Jewish Ancestry”. He intermarried at a time when many Jewish parents observed Kaddish for this. I do detest what I do know of him. He confuses non-Jews as a nice Jewish liberal-socialist/humanitarian. I see him as an assimilated Jew who is anti-Israel, for that I put him in with JVP, J Street, Jewish Forward. I agree that an anti-Zionist is an Antisemite.

It is hard to argue against the comments by Israel’s P.M. With the belief systems today being the catalyst for so much turmoil, one has to wonder what real effect those so-called belief systems are having on world-wide society. From my perspective, as touched upon in this article, the belief systems are having a very negative and violent effect on people of all walks of life. Those belief systems, like Islam, do not preach religion in the holy sense, they preach domination and superiority, and their books and teachings condemn everything non-Muslim. That even those who do not believe in the faith that is required to be religious requires, and adopt views and conduct that is negatively directed at others of different faiths, or at least others who are active in their faiths, is mind boggling. The issues have become political, not religious, and that is very dangerous. People should simply let people live as they wish, as long as they are not threatening and violent.

I suggest that you study a little bit on origin, meaning, morality, and destiny of life’s questions. To seek the truth of life one must know that Absolute truth is an unchanging point of reference. Objective truth is being independent of other people’s opinions. Subjective truth is being dependent of other people’s opinions. There are/were tribes that ate their neighbors. Since Soros and Marx were Jews…there is certainly a clear distinction between practitioners of the Jewish faith and someone who happens to have ancestors w/ Jewish DNA.That is, there’s ethnic Jews by DNA and, there are ethnic Jews who may or not practice the Jewish faith. Then there are non-ethnic Jews who can be converted to Judaism. So a Leftist ethnic “Jewish” organization (for all practical purposes are non-religious and often atheistic)…should probably just stop clinging to the the label of “Jewish” which is soooooo ethnocentric which I thought they despised. They shouldn’t flatter themselves w/ the label of being Jewish. They should just ignore their Jewish ancestral DNA and self-identify as the “Socialist Democrat Party U.S.A.” which aligns themselves w/ IslamoNazism which hates Jews (religious or not) and all other non-Muslims.
Just HOW much Jewish DNA does one have to have to be called an ethnic Jew? (I’m proud to have 8% Ashkenazi Jewish DNA but don’t call myself Jewish.) I understand, my dear friend, and may G-d bless you for your devotion and faith! But having gone to a campus with many Jewish students, I can tell you that quite a sizable number of them do not strongly believe in religion. In fact, many cannot even seem to speak Hebrew.
Maybe in Israel, this is different, but in America, many Jews are indeed losing touch with their faith to some degree.
