Danish police charge Syrian man with attempted terrorism

COPENHAGEN: Danish Police have charged a 30-year-old Syrian man, an asylum-seeker to Sweden, with attempting to commit a “terrorist act” in Copenhagen in November 2016, according to a police statement.Story continues below advertisementThe man, whose name media are prohibited from mentioning, was arrested on Thursday in an operation involving the Danish intelligence service, police said.
The court found there was reasonable suspicion the man had planned to commit a “terrorism attack” at an unknown place in Copenhagen in November 2016 together with a man who was convicted in Germany in July of planning an attack in Copenhagen.
The two men had aimed at killing or wounding several random people by attacking them with knives and afterwards detonate one or several explosive charges, the police said.

6 years agoReply to SureshGross stupidity and criminal ignorance contributes to any Western country allowing Muslims to enter the country. In time, everywhere they go there is disharmony and strife that Muslims cause in pursuit of their goals – and death. They have no respect for Western laws and customs. We know that because we also know that to them only sharia applies. So why allow Muslims in? Misplaced notions of charity and then political correctness prevent intelligent consideration to horrible Muslim realities. Then no longer is there belief in the superiority of a democratic system and belief in anything much any more.
6 years agoAny country who’s government is contemplating letting muslims in, would do well to read the qur’an. Specifically the hate everyone but muslim parts, the disrespect fo women verses, the ignoring of other laws and international borders, and all the other crimes such as murder and rape that are elevated to sanctity in islam.

6 years agoTAKE A LOOK! Japan does NOT have F U problems like this from muslims because they don’t let the pigs IN country. Get rid of muslims here in the US, I don’t give a S about rights they think they’re entitled to.
TAKE A LOOK! How many of you really know why we sent marines to Tripoli way back when? What did we learn about pisslam back then when we sent diplomats to negotiate some kind of peace agreement with the pisslamists (religion of peace)? Exactly, name these US diplomats.
When they leave their muslim countries behind, they need to leave pisslam and sharia law behind, but they don’t. 6 years agoWestern countries have been too tender with the immigration of Muslims. The rules for them must be strict and accepted otherwise they must be immediately expelled or not accepted upon arrival. Once the cancer of Islam settles it is difficult to eradicate. So countries have to put a brake on their entry, especially if they return from the Syrian war where they fought and killed even helpless population. It is really from morons and demented to accept these “foreign fighters”

and that in Christ’s name6 years agomuslims and the West operate from two diametrically opposed rule books and for as long as we permit both their invasion and for them to operate from their rule book, ignoring our rule book completely, there will be trouble, violence and mayhem. If a STRONG stand is not taken by the West the result will NOT BE PRETTY. Our descendants deserve better.
