Exodus: Jews Flee Paris Suburbs over Rising Tide of Anti-Semitism

Story continues below advertisementFrench-Jewish families are being forced from their homes in Paris suburbs as Europe continues to be convulsed by levels of anti-Semitism not seen since the end of the Second World War.
The Paris commuter newspaper 20 Minutes documents an “internal exodus” during 2017 of Jews from the Seine-Saint-Denis department, saying it is emblematic of broader concerns that French Jews, like their brothers and sisters across Europe, are finding it increasingly difficult to reconcile their faith with the changing demographics of the continent.
The paper reports that Jews are leaving their homes on the northeastern fringe of Paris to escape the open hostility that French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe on Sunday condemned as “well-rooted.” The newspaper reports:
This ‘internal exodus’ is difficult to quantify, but it is clear that many synagogues of Seine-Saint-Denis have closed, for lack of people. In Pierrefitte, the rabbi has recorded a 50 percent decline in the congregations since his arrival thirteen years ago. A similar story is told in (nearby) Bondy, where attendance on Yom Kippur (the holiest day of the Jewish calendar) has fallen from about 800 to 400 in the last decade.
The Bondy synagogue president saw a “deteriorating climate” of the last 15 years as driving the exodus, “It’s hard to explain, it’s provocations, it’s looks,” he lamented. “There are places where we do not feel welcome.”
His observations mimic those made 12 months before in nearby Raincy, where local Rabbi Moshe Lewin said he feared he could be one of the last Jewish leaders in Seine-Saint-Denis.
“What upsets me is that in some areas of France, Jews can no longer live peacefully, and that just five minutes from my home, some are forced to hide their kippas (skullcaps) or their Star of David,” he said.
The sensation of “not feeling welcome” is nothing new to French Jews. In 2015, journalist Zvika Klein recorded the reaction to his taking to the streets of Paris wearing a traditional kippa. See the result for yourself below:
Klein later points out the irony that Paris today is a city “where keffiyeh-wearing men and veiled women speak Arabic on every street corner” but where “soldiers are walking every street that houses a Jewish institution.”
Sammy Ghozlan, the president of the Jewish communal security organization BNCVA, told 20 Minutes that it was vital “not to underestimate the antisemitism we experience on a daily basis.”
“For a long time, Jews were targeted through their symbols — today, people themselves are targeted directly,” Ghozlan said.
As Breitbart Jerusalem has reported, the experience of Jews in Paris is much the same across the rest of the country. More and more are feeling so unsafe that they now feel they have no other choice but to move to Israel for safety.
They are continuing a trend that has seen tens of thousands of Jews quit the country in the past decade.
More than 5,000 departures were recorded in 2016 on top of the record 7,900 who left in 2015 and 7,231 in 2014. In total, 40,000 French Jews have emigrated since 2006, according to figures cited by AFP.
On the evidence, that number will not be falling anytime soon.

Leaving is nit the answer. Attacking Muslims is the answer. If it leads to giant fights, so be it. If the French government is weak than when attacked, attack back. Beat their women and children, fire bomb their mosques. Cause chaos and open hostility until France looks stupid and has to do something to keep the peace.
Also tell french politicians you are leaving and take all your talent with you. Force France into bad economic situation. Again make France look bad until they act against Muslims.

The Jews founded Medina, though it was named Yatrib at the time. And your point is a good one. Suppose I tried to visit Saudi Arabia. Would they hassle me aboutmy Israeli stamps when I visited there? Would they ask me to say I am not a Jew? I wouldn’t be surprised. It is Israel I should go to again — not Saudi Arabia.

But it’s not just Muslims and Jews. It’s exactly the same thing in any ‘hood in America where Demokkkrats have had their way.
We have ‘barrios’ in DFW so bad … the ILLEGALS are in “Illegal” Flight to get away from the Demokkkrats. They may be ignorant peasants who vote Demokkkrat, but they are not stupid enough to hang around in Demokkkrat controlled No Go Zones where Rape is barely a crime and robbery, burglary, mugging, assault, etc., do not even get recorded by the cops on the incident reports – and this is in Texas. I can only imagine how bad it is in Demokkkrat strongholds where you cannot flee to a solid Republican county.
It’s a horrible thing to see Jews driven out of Europe, and especially France again. One would think Europeans had learned their lesson, but apparently people cannot recognize evil even when it bashes their face in.

The fact that this article refers to those of the Jewish persuasion who are being subject to hate and being ostracized, leads to the next step in the process when the next group of people will begin to recognize that same type of hatred and ostracized conduct is being presented at them. These un-neighborly like people simply cannot live among anyone but their own kind. Losing these very productive and non-violent people will be a major loss throughout Europe, though a great benefit to wherever they go. The problem grows like a cancer and no one seems to be taking it seriously to do anything about it.

The problem with the left-wing Jews in Canada is they think the Muslim anti-Semitism and attacks happening in France and Germany will stay in France and Germany. The left-wing Jews are wrong.

The reality of any country or city is when the Muslim population grows the violence towards Jews begin.

They think the majority of Muslims are not terrorists. But when the Muslim population grows in France and Muslims start attacking and murdering people do you ever see the moderate Muslims speak out NEVER.
You never see the moderate Muslim population showing sympathy towards victims. The only thing you do see is their claims of a so-called backlash against the so-called moderate Muslims.

Ilan Halimi, a French Jew, was kidnapped and held captive and tortured for weeks and murdered by a gang of Muslims. Ilan was only 23 years old when he was murdered.
Not one person tried to help ILan. Not one single Muslim has they tortured him and went to jobs during the day.
Muslim relatives of the torturers knew what was happening to Ilan as he was held captive and blindfolded and not one person tried to help Ilan or call he police.

The gang leader Yosef Fofanna called his family over 500 times quoting the Koran. Ilan family was not wealthy and he worked in a cell phone shop when he was lured away, jumped and kidnapped.
Do you see any Moderate Muslims coming forward to condemn this horrific act ?

the Jews of europa have to get out of what has become a hell hole. imagine even thinking of going to Paris on a vacation trip. western europe is dead. suicidal. make alliyah today now immediately. just go. Israel is the best option or America, not so great unless our President triumphs in protecting and defending Americans against the forces of evil and the enemies within. eastern europe may also be a better situation. it’s very difficult. the language is different in these places but there is a large european community in Israel that makes it more comfortable for those fleeing europe. Jews are in great danger.
