Never heard this/these artist(s) before…nice, very nice! I’m a music collector of over 30 years, and I’ll be getting all their music, for sure! Does ’77, mean the year when this song came out? Thanks for posting something new for my listening pleasure, and collection!

Wow, and you would be right! Never heard of her either, but fell in love with the song, on the first hearing. You definitely know good music! Another great artist to put into my collection, lord knows I got enough to work on, but I’ll fit her in, for sure! Thank you much, now stop! 🙂

’77 refers to the band name – Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’77. (An earlier band had ’66 as its ID.) The song itself came out in ’72 – it was a cover of a Four Tops soul original. Mendes has his own website, and there is also a ton of info about him and his music on Wikipedia and YouTube.
