On Tuesday, a criminal Court in Narbonne, France, sentenced a 21-year-old man to five years suspended sentence for the rape of a 4-year-old girl. The assailant, who admitted to having put his sex in the victim’s mouth, was 17 years old at the time of the rape.
The case dates back to July 2014. Wilfried J., tried for “rape and sexual assault”, was 17 at the time. Accused of sexual misconduct, he admitted having introduced his penis in the little girl’s mouth.
At the time, the teenager’s mother, a licensed kindergarten assistant, was responsible for supervising the girl. The events took place in the abuser’s room when the little victim was taking a nap.
According to local media reports, it was the word “foufoune” (French slang for penis), pronounced by the little girl while talking to a girlfriend, that led to the case and the arrest of the suspect.
The man was sentenced to lenient five-year suspended sentence with five years of socio-judicial follow-up, with a ban to be in contact with the victim, and a ban to work in an environment with children.
The prosecutor requested a five years imprisonment, including three with suspended sentence.
Let me guess: a French Roy Moore, who was accused to date a 14 year old girl, would certainly celebrate a victory today.
