Muslim mayor of second largest Dutch city says he’s a Salafist

The mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb, shocked some of the listeners of his radio interview with Dutch broadcaster NPO.
Aboutaleb discussed several things but caused commotion when he said that he sometimes considers himself a jihadist and that “every Muslim is a bit of a Salafist”.
The mayor said: “A Muslim who’s a Salafist wants to look like the Prophet.” When the interviewer asks: “So according to that definition you’re a Salafist as well?” The mayor answers with “Yes… all Muslims are for a small part Salafist”
He added: “Salafists can also be found among Christians, if you approach it linguistically. Salaf is a progenitor, and a Salafist is someone who wants to look like his progenitor. For example, a Muslim who wants to look like Mohammed. In Christianity you also have people who want to look like Christ in their actions. Every Muslim is a bit of a Salafist”.
About jihad Aboutaleb said: “I get up every day at 7 o’clock to do good for a city in the Netherlands. That is the jihad in its purest form.” He added there are several forms of jihad, “of which the armed struggle is only one form”.
The interview caused major uproar on social media with hundreds of people who were worried about his statements. Dutch politician Geert Wilders of the Freedom Party said:

A salafist as a mayor of the 2nd biggest city of The Netherlands is a total disgrace and a threat.

Salafism is described as an ultra-conservative reform branch or movement within Sunni Islam. It advocated a return to the traditions of the Salaf, who are the first three generations of scholars after the Prophet Muhammad.
In Europe it is linked to multiple terrorist attacks and as the number of Salafists is growing in several countries, it is now seen as a serious threat for democracy and public safety.

If the interviewer of this muzscum mayor would have had any guts at all then these are the obvious questions one would have to ask. How can any sane person emulate the ways of mohaMad and justify so many of the vilest crimes ever recorded such as mass murder, slavery, torture, paedophillia, genocide etc etc. Such a person would be declared criminally insane and locked away for life. And yet the mayor of one of Europe’s major cities sees all these as not just permissible but desirable traits to show. There can never be any unity and peace in the world while the sane are living cheek by jowl with the insane.

Please read my reply to Ms. Mahou Shoujo, the voters in the Netherlands turned their backs on the PvdA. This party used to have more than 40 seats in the parliament, it has been decimated and will hopefully cease to exist, the snag is that there are other political parties of the right and the left that follow Merkel’s and Juncker’s orders. Defeating these other parties is the bigger challenge. The same goes for La Grande Nation, the French will hopefully realize that electing Macron was not a good idea…

Mayors in the Netherlands are appointed by the government, not elected…
This Achmed Aboutaleb is a prominent member of the PvdA, (Labor Party) and has always given the impression of being a “moderate,” a “fully integrated” man.
Two of the founders of an islamic party were born in Turkey (the eyes, ears and long arm of dictator Erdogan in the parliament of the Netherlands) started their career in the same PvdA, the mayor of Arnhem, another fairly large city, Achmed Marcouch is a Moroccan born who is also a member of the same political party, he too was appointed by the government despite the fact that this PvdA was decimated at the last election. It is a very tiny party now.
Wilders’ party on the contrary is growing enormously and hopefully will get an absolute majority.

Aboutaleb was appointed when the Dutch Labor Party was still in the government, before the election in which it was almost destroyed, Marcouch on the other hand was appointed AFTER the elections of March 2017, this is the proof that there is no big difference among the ruling élites and that the whole shtik is a farce.
D66, the “yuppie” political party that is the twin sister of the Democrats in the US has been hammering for the introduction of referenda since 1966 in order to close the gap between the people and the government, to give the people a voice.
D66 is now a member of a four-party coalition and is AGAINST referenda, because the results of two of them were not of their liking! D66 leader is one of the most repugnant Dutch politicians, the rest of the new coalition are no better, the Prime Minister is a “jovial” individual who arrogantly laughs off everything the “opposition” says during parliamentary debates. This closeted “bachellor” (he is more than 50 years old) who still lives at his mother’s house is on first name terms with Merkel…’nuff said!

“Mein Kampf” has been forbidden for 70 years but a “critical edition” with comments by “historians” (?) has been or will be released as the Land Bayern is no longer the copyright owner of that book.
Banning the Quran will not happen because of the idiots that rule in Europe.

“mijn” (pronounced “mine”) is the Dutch translation of “mein” (also prononounced “mine” meaning “my.”)
I think Monsieur Périn most probably lives in the Netherlands and doesn’t speak German, a language very difficult for the French to learn, like Dutch!

This hadith is considered to be one of the best and most complete physical descriptions of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. I learned that it’s almost impossible to translate the beautiful words into english and here, I’ve tried to collect a few english versions.
When the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) emigrated from Makkah to Madînah, he passed by the tent of Umm Ma`bad. She witnessed some of his miracles, then swore fealty to him in Islam before he departed. When her husband came back, he was surprised to find with her a quantity of milk. He asked her: “Where you have got this from, O Umm Ma`bad, while our sheep is alone and untouched and we have no milk cow in our home?” She said: “Nay, but by Allah, a blessed man passed by our way and did so and so.” He said: “Describe him to me, O Umm Ma`bad.”
VERSION ONE:
She said:
“I saw a man who is handsome, of glowing countenance, and of good proportions, with neither a large stomach nor a small head. He is smart of appearance, with balanced features, deep black eyes, and long eyelashes. His voice is not coarse. He has a long neck, a full rounded beard, and thick eyebrows that meet each other. When he is silent, he is stately and composed, and when he speaks, his appearance is impressive.
“He is the most beautiful and striking man from a distance and the best and most beautiful from close up. He is well spoken, clear in what he says, saying neither too much nor too little, his words flowing forth like a perfect string of pearls.
“He is neither too tall nor overly short, a stately man in the company of two other stately men (one of them was Abu Bakr RA), and he is the most prominent among them and the most well-respected.
“He has companions who surround him. If he speaks, they listen to him, and if he commands, they hasten to fulfill his command. He is well served and attended, though he is neither stern nor argumentative.”

Muhammad told his followers to obey the laws of the land in which they lived as long as they were in a position of weakness. As long as a law does not cause a Muslim to commit what he would consider some sort of sin, he is to obey the law. However, once the Muslim population in a country grows large enough and the Muslims living there become strong enough Muhammad told them they are to try to make the will of Allah the supreme law of the land. So Muslims can and should live peacefully in a democracy (or any country) following its laws until a certain critical point is reached. Of course, not all Muslims will agree as to when that point has been reached and so some (the terrorists) may jump the gun, so to speak.

Concerning the mayor of Rotterdam, Aboutaleb. He must navigate between the conservative Muslims and the Dutch who call themselves progressive and have appointed him mayor.
Hence his doubts and the explanation of “Salafism” and that he is a “bit salafist” himself, salafist in the sense that also can be found among Christians. His intention is to connect.

A few things need understanding about Holland, they had elections last March, but like Merkel in Germany, their former PM Mark Rutte is still negotiating with minor parties {who cannot stand each other} in order to form a coalition, all to avoid having anything to do with those “Nazis” run by Wilders.
Secondly that Muslim Mayor looks like a European and dresses like one, IF he continues to run Rotterdam to the satisfaction of the Dutch electorate {who pay the bills and don’t riot} he will be left to it. Should he start “reverting to type” as we say, things would start to change, especially if there were mass Dutch casualties as a result of Islamic terrorism there. He understands all this I’m sure.
An immigrant of another faith has been elected to high office, some have THEIR man on the inside in a major Dutch city, like Khan in greater London, the guy in Holland is very much “in office but there on trust”. The Dutch are intelligent and lovely people, they read reports like we do, they understand the issues now, but for me, Wilders has overplayed his hand a little this time, if things go badly there, then they’ll listen to him and the P V V.
ONE serious incident anywhere near Rotterdam linked to Islam during his term and that Mayor will be toast, so will the prospects be for others with the same ambition. The Dutch are very patient, but they’re watching and waiting too.

I do agree with much of what you say about the insidious rise of Islam in England But the Borders are Controlled. Unlike the majority of continental Europe and as for 130 shariah courts’ any shariah courts are unofficial and can be set up in anyone’s spare room anywhere. I also don’t agree about the muzrat no go zones’ I many others go wherever we please in the uk and there’s no muzrats ever going to stop me.
