Czech Republic follows Trump, recognizes Jerusalem

Great leadership is always emulated.

President Trump’s righteous example is being followed by forward-thinking, freedom-loving world leaders. First among the righteous, the Czech Republic. I believe this is the just the beginning. Watch. But don’t look to conquered nations, those who have surrendered to Islamic tyranny like the UK’s Theresa May or France’s Macron — yesterday’s men.

Czech Republic follows Trump, recognizes Jerusalem

December 5, 2017, Israel National News, (thanks to Mark):

The Czech Republic on Wednesday evening followed in the footsteps of U.S. President Donald Trump and said it recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel.

“The Czech Republic currently, before the peace between Israel and Palestine is signed, recognizes Jerusalem to be in fact the capital of Israel in the borders of the demarcation line from 1967,” said a statement issued by the Czech foreign ministry.

The statement also stressed that the Czech Republic “considers Jerusalem to be future capital of both states, meaning the State of Israel and the future State of Palestine.”

“The Ministry can start considering moving of the Czech embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem only based on results of negotiations with key partners in the region and in the world,” it added.

Trump had earlier on Wednesday announced that the United States officially recognized the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and announced that the American embassy in Israel would be relocated to Jerusalem.

“After more than two decades of waivers, we are no closer to a lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result,” Trump said.

“Therefore, I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

Now the Philippines too. They both have very similar flags. As Air Vice-Marshall Park exclaimed at the start of the Battle of Britain, “This is only the beginning. They won’t stop now!”

“Now the Philippines too.”
thanks again for your news info.I am learning plenty of history just by reading the comment section on this board.

FYI: The Philippines is the ONLY Asian country to vote for the State of Israel at the UN!
(China abstained).

Philippines was also a sanctuary for refugees fleeing the holocaust!

China, Red China, was not in the UN until relatively recently, certainly not in 1948.

I work with the Filipino community here in the Midwest doing IT work using Czech Avast. Their Consul General was the Philippine Ambassador to Israel before being promoted to
Consul. We helped arrange the showing of this documentary at the Holocaust Museum, in Skokie, IL. Interesting that the Philippine and Czech flags are very similar in design. This is the trailer.

Truth be told that then Czechoslovakia was one of the first countries to supply Israel with weapons in the 1948 War of Independence from Rifles, pistols and aircraft which took off from their country then flew bombing missions over Egypt before landing in Israel. This is why I enjoy Czech Pilzner.

The Czechs are fantastic engineers and the planes they sent to Israel were full of cannibalized parts which was not the fault of the Czech generosity. The American, airman, volunteers called these planes the MesserSchitt. Gen. Adolph Galland of Me 262 fame also gave very good advice to the fledgling air force.

Well for starters East German rocket scientists helped Egypt and Iraq develop their Scud missiles. These were derivatives of the WWII V-2 rockets. Commie bastards and I’ll personally include Cubans and N Koreans.

There’s one country (Czech), I’ve added to my list of places to see.

“After more than two decades of waivers, we are no closer to a lasting
peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It would be folly
to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a
different or better result,” Trump said.” Good for Trump. He has basically told the “palestinians” ‘you’ve had your chance. Now pound sand and take what we give you.’

We have to recognize Israel; AND de-legitimize the Palestinian terrorist movement!

(the problem with the Clintons and Carter is that they gave a terrorist organization FALSE LEGITIMACY. that’s why college campuses think that it’s OK to have on campus. it’s like saying Al Queda is legitimate just because they claim to be a “human rights” organization).

It doesn’t make a crap what they do. When the smoke clears, Trump will still be President, the order will still be in effect, and the muzzies who don’t like it can go find therapy by fondling their Furbie.

There’s talk of other countries moving their embassies to Israel. But do they recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital? Moving their embassy – why? Israel doesn’t need all these foreign embassies on their soil. What happens when these countries vote for new leaders who side with Israel’s enemies? These countries should first recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Moving their embassies means nothing. The US is Israel’s biggest ally and therefore the US should move its embassy to Jerusalem.

A nation moving its embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem shows more than just words that they support Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. It shouldn’t matter how big of an ally or how big of a nation….the nation is that supports Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Nations like the Czech Republic and all others that share Trump America’s sentiment on this issue….should do the same as Trump America on this issue.

Embassies are in various countries so there is ALWAYS dialogue btwn the two countries. An embassy does not signify the two govts are necessarily friends, OR enemies…..

Yes I know. But who’s called when one of them is bombed for being in Israel? The IDF. And who’s given protection when one of their compatriots commits a violent crime against an Israeli? Their embassy. Too many foreign embassies in Israel can, and will, cause serious problems for such a small country.

I could be wrong, and if anybody can correct me, feel free. The whole Palestinian thing is a fraud. There is no such place as Palestine. As far as I know, the name Palestine originated with the Romans during their rule over Israel. They coined the term Palestine to annoy the Jews because it sounded like Phillistine, the Jews sworn enemy. If I am wrong, please correct me. No ad hominem attacks, please, just facts.

You are 100% correct. ‘Palestinia” was the ancient Roman word for the land of the Hebrews.
The land called ‘palestine’ today has been stolen from the Jews and squatted by the Hezbollah terrorists with assistance from Syria, Iran and Egypt. ‘palestine’ is used to sucker the uneducated liberals, which they have done quite well.
