There’s gold in them thar inter webs. Everyone can see how much money the socialist monopolists of the social media are making, there is every reason for competition to spring up which will improve the information exchanger considerably. The fools of the bigynormous monopolies of today do not realize that greed and stupidity will cause their downfall. The only thing that really has to happen is some motivation for a migration away for the old anachronisms of face book and the like.

Oh did you happen to hear what the other founder of FaceBook said just recently? “I’m going to live longer than any of you. I can buy the very best health insurance because I have billions! I’ll live to be 106!” What an arrogant POS! I wonder haw much money he gives to charity and what causes he supports other than the liberal left because we all know what they’re up to don’t we.

like the BBC, facebook has morphed into Pravda. Youtube is going the same way. Then they wonder why people jump ship to Bit Chute and other platforms. FB is already pretty much dead. It is just a bunch of also-rans and wannabes and other bottom feeders.

Why this is important
– because the missile attack was a dry run practice for ‘plausible deniability’ for nukes
– Iran got proxies to launch the missile against Riyadh
– Then Iran played dumb about any involvement
– “Oh, no, not us, we didn’t know, it was terrorists, acting alone!”
– This is the same plan Iran has for shipping container and ‘rogue missile’ nukes against the USA

The Saudis and Houthis have been fighting for awhile, while the Fake News media distracts the masses. It is escalating though.
I cannot complain about Sunni and Shiite theocrats killing each other, as long as it does not drag the rest of the world in with it. Unfortunately, the USA and EU are backing the Saudis and Russia is backing the Iranians, so it is dangerous.

Too few people have too much power in general. What we are seeing world wide is the rebirth of fascism — the merger of corporate and government power — and companies are consolidating at an alarming rate. Fascism has nothing without censorship, and the conglomerates are censoring for governments around the world.
Despite that, this has its defenders among some on the right — the “private property” argument. When private companies control the public infrastructure on behalf of a public government, that rule does not apply.

This is why I don’t believe in lawyers (sounds a lot like “liars” if you care to notice). They made a law (really?) to make it impossible to sue for free speech because that is exactly what they are going to CLOBBER you with.
Can you imagine if rapist ran the courts? All of sudden rape is legal. The judge should throw that law out of court. Now I know they have a term for it where it is so ridiculous that a law like that can even be enforced.

While I agree with Pamela’s diagnoses of the problem, I am not so sure I agree with her solutions – employing anti-trust laws, overturning social media’s immunity, litigation and legislation. Rather, I would suggest Capitalism is the solution. In fact, it is strange to me that Pamela herself hasn’t considered this, since she is a champion of Capitalism, being a great fan of Ayn Rand. I proposed on another of today’s article about CNN’s corrupt reporting that these dying old media dinosaurs could turn their fortunes around overnight by simply reporting the Truth. Novel concept, I know, but the nation is hungry, famished, even starved for the truth in the era when the MSM passes off regressive Leftist propaganda as news.
Look at all these YouTube channels currently receiving millions of views, more than the MSM even got in its heyday. Paul Joseph Watson and InfoWars are just the tip of the iceberg. On YouTube right now there are maybe 100 popular v-bloggers gaining more views than all the MSM combined. These are all making money through Patreon and other channels for donations. We see companies like Rebel Media starting to rise and and become lucrative.
And how about all these channels on YouTube that got “demonetized” because advertisers were afraid of having their ads shown against videos condemning the regressive Left or with an anti-Islam perspective? Perhaps many of them could be persuaded there is money to be made advertising to conservatives and a Right leaning audience. I really think the answer lies in this direction.

The big tech companies are predatory. They buy out their competition or they silence it in indirect ways. They also control communications and Google skews search results to minimize the attention that upstarts get.

But money making is not the only consideration: there can be physical intimidation from militant Muslims involved, which is why a lot of major publishers wouldn’t want to publish Pamela Geller’s “Fatwa” . The Charlie Hebdo slaughter and the Islamic terrorist attempt on Geller’s (& other’s) life make this point. The more sources of communications the less likely that all or too many can be intimidated. Intimidation is unfortunately very much part of political & religious life these days.
