Horror as Persecution of Christianity Hits All-Time High

40

Aid to the Church in Need, a nonprofit based in Europe, found the level of persecution against Christians around the world has grown to historic proportions.

Christians around the world. but particularly in North Korea and in nations with heavy Muslim populations, face massive persecution.

In fact, the authors of a new study of the situation find it’s “worse than at any time in history,” the Express noted.

The study looked at the plight of Christians in 13 different countries, and concluded: For those of this faith, life is hard — extremely hard.

From The Express:

The European-based Aid to the Church in Need described the current level of persecution against Christians as being “worse than at any time in history”.

Examining the plight of Christians in 13 countries over the past 12 years, the group found the number of Christians in the Middle East had dropped drastically in the past year.

The report entitled ‘Persecuted and Forgotten?’ claims the number of Christians in Syria had dropped to just 500,000 from about 1.5m five years ago, when the Syrian civil war was only just beginning.

In Iraq, more than half of the country’s Christian population became internal refugees and Syria’s second city of Aleppo, which until 2011 was home to the largest Christian community, saw numbers dropping from 150,000 to barely 35,000 by spring 2017 – a fall of more than 75 percent.

The report predicts Christianity in Iraq could be effectively wiped out by as early as 2020 if the population’s decline continues at the same rate as it has in the past two years.

The report said: “While firm numbers are hard to come by … there is little doubt that the level of Christian persecution remains extremely high in a great number of places around the world.”

Researchers estimate as many as 600,000 Christians may have suffered some form of persecution for their faith around the world last year.

Aid to the Church also accuses the UN for failing to help persecuted Christians and criticised the western media for failing to highlight the problems facing them.

The charity said: “At a time in the West when there is increasing media focus on the rights of people regardless of gender, ethnicity or sexuality, it is ironic that in much of the secular media there should be such limited coverage of the massive persecution experienced by so many Christians.”

The report said: “Governments in the West and the UN failed to offer Christians in countries such as Iraq and Syria the emergency help they needed as genocide got underway.

“If Christian organisations and other institutions had not filled the gap, the Christian presence could already have disappeared in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East.”

Report editor John Pontifex said: “In terms of the numbers of people involved, the gravity of the crimes committed and their impact, it is clear that the persecution of Christians is today worse than at any time in history.

“Not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, but ever-increasing numbers are experiencing the very worst forms of persecution.”

Persecuted and Forgotten? found that members of China’s 127 million-strong Christian population have suffered increased persecution following new attempts to bring Christianity in line with Communist ideals.

More than 2,000 churches and crosses have been pulled down in China’s coastal Province of Zhejiang – and clergy are still being routinely detained by authorities.

The paper highlights the “eradication” of Christians and other minorities as being the stated aim of Islamic extremist groups , particularly in Egypt and identified growing problems in certain majority Islamic countries and authoritarian states such as Eritrea and North Korea.

Only last month, Coptic Christians in Mina were forced to lock the doors of their church after a mob of more than 1,000 people gathered outside to intimidate and threaten worshippers.

christians, patriots slept their way as Left/liberal jihadis took over education system , media and politics.

And Left/Liberal voters who vote for these Loons in EU/America are getting what they deserve.

And Now Muslim invaders posing as unaccompanied refugee children threaten to kill Swedes if not allowed to stay http://bit.ly/2pLFV6i

And the cowards can’t kick these invaders out !

One of the problems is that we consider ourselves civilized, and assume others will follow suit. We really need to reexamine what it means to be civilized, and what it doesn’t mean. It doesn’t mean shaking the hand of your executioner.

Exactly. The takeover by the Left has been on for over 50 years and jihadis joined in in he last 30 years since Reagon joined with Mujahideen/pakistan to get rid of soviet union.

It all came back to bite with multiple jihadi attack and 9/11 was just the intermission.

Reagan “got rid” of the Soviet Union but not the totalitarian and nuclear threats posed by its successor. He gets no credit – Gorbachev is still alive, well and very much an internationalist – as Reagan became later in his presidency.

Good point above – understand that compromise and a dilution of the whole counsel of God started in the church and spread to families. Popular Christianity destroyed the Church’s effectiveness and this spread from there into the American family. Patriot groups were probably confused with lack of leadership and spiritual discernment by charlatans in the pulpit who reaped millions of prosperity gospel bucks while persecution elsewhere spread like wildfire.

we know it but how many christians know it ? That is why we need to spread the articles that expose the truth the Left/liberal media do not want to do. They want dumbed down masses that is easy to manupilate

Exactly. The word must be spread. In this writer’s ministry I have been doing this since 2002. But – as the years go by – the American church is getting harder to reach and respond to matters raised here. Many are in comfort zones, not threatened by the exploding events occurring elsewhere. These folks are ignoring prophetic warnings issued long ago detailing these events.

Don;t waste time with the Priests/Bishops. They will support anyone who pays them.
Our target are the average church goers. Show them articles that talk about criminal attacks on them and religious restriction in muslim countries and ask them do you want to be the next victim of such crimes ?
If they say no. tell them to oppose muslim immigration and shoving of islam into schools/colleges while christianity has been effectively removed from schools/colleges.

If they seem not to care ..just say ” All the best !” “Just Like God /Jesus didn;t help the ignorant ,lazy ones who were victims , you’ll be next”. And walk off.

Let them think about it , if they have a functioning brain they will eventually wake up. Be polite don’t shout or rant . It does not help.

If prayer could help xians would not have been wiped out of 57 muslim nations. It requires smarts, planning fighting back at multiple levels socially by educating masses about the plague called islam and its history and intent now, legally by fighting back special rights/islam being pushed into schools/public spaces where others religions do not get any such benefits.

These are just a start. This is why the Rightwing , patriotic alt-media is necessary because the corrupt MSM has been taken over by the Left/Liberal/jihadi funders.

Agree with most points you make. But people must get to a point where they willing to abandon of their comfort zones and apathetic bliss so they may conduct serious business against a threat. Step 1: they must at some point realize there IS a threat. The may have ears to hear but refuse to listen. They have eyes to see, but to not perceive. And – when their highest temporal priority is concentrated one how to cut off people in traffic to get to the next store faster than lickety-split on Black Friday – well, it seems we have much to do to release them from these chains.

When 1 Christian bleeds, we all bleed. 10% of Christians are under some sort of oppression. Satan has been advancing his agendas on many levels unopposed. This needs to stop and no organization formed now is capable of that. That’s the biggest thing that needs to change. Starting up something from scratch will take a long time and trying to get organizations existing to work together is like herding cats. A common law judge from Alaska, Anna Von Reitz, has restarted up the original government established in 1789 using the original constitution and has filed the appropriate forms. I’ve been following her work for some time and think it’s the only avenue forward. No attachment or binding treaties with other countries give you a free hand. It would take a long time to explain the workings of this, and most won’t like it, but no UN and the end of corporate US, end of Federal Reserve, and many other things that are entanglements that are destructive to Natural Law. You need aprox. 30 people in every county to come up with a common law grand jury and in their jurisdiction can enforce that Islam is treason.
This may sound like that fantastic dreams of an optimistic dreamer, but as soon as I can get a grand jury together, I’m going to try. Probably start with a small case and work out the kinks so when the real heavy lifting is needed, will be ready.
One of the beauties of this is that the only way others can stop it is they have to break all their own rules.

I have notes scrambled all over the place, and need to get them organized and present them better, but a lot of information can be obtained from Anna Von Rietz FB page on her timeline. She has the most complete picture. I’ve been looking through sites and trying to find fault in their logic and such, but she has been the best source. 1stmichiganassembly.info also lays out how to set up your local government.
There are a lot of youtubes that speak of common law, natural law but the best I’ve seen is from Mark Passio and is almost 9 hrs. long. He used to be in deep with the creatures but pulled himself out. I agree with everything he says, exept when it comes to order followers. I look at it from the perspective of don’t criticize me until you have a solution, which comes from a business philosophy.
I’m suggesting that we become soverign, or naturalized citizens, and start mining and refining rare earth minerals and use them to back a currency, or decentralized currencies. You can’t do that in the confines of the existing government because of UN regulations. It’s a 7 trillion world wide market, that is of products derived from raw materials, and all done in China. I have some of this on my website http://www.secedelinks.org but it isn’t organized in a flowing manner, but links are there.
Got someone waiting on me now, but I hope I’ve been helpful. This is a way forward, but takes a lot of organizing. We have to have a way of financing ourselves, so as to work together, and protect from what the left does, doxing people and getting tham fired. If everyone in the industry is on the same page, sane, then you can’t be harmed by stupidity and its activities to hamper you.

Well, SantasHandler … that is a legitimate concern!! As tragic and sudden deaths happen to so many who threaten the system, one would have to assume that challenging it with anything actually substantive might irritate the powers the be.

On the other hand, they allow a little dissension for the sake of appearance.

Do they care that millions of people question the official 9-11 story? Not really. And it doesn’t matter that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of architects who say it could not have happened as it happened. It doesn’t matter that there are videos floating around showing a hole in the wall of the Pentagon before it collapsed, and the complete absence of a jet liner’s remains and all those bodies — which we’re told evaporated — first time in the history of plane crashes!

And so on.

They crush real threats. And they see most of us as non-threats. They hold the real power — or at least a vast amount of it.

I’m not sure what this life is really all about. I do believe that there is an afterlife. I do believe in God and Jesus. I do believe that we are in a fight of good vs. evil, and that it will get much worse before it gets better. I have no illusions that I’ll live a whole lot longer. At 62, I could — were the world even semi-normal — live quite a few more years. But in these times? Not counting on it!!

Whatever happens, I keep my faith in God and Christ. Like you, I will continue to do what I can to live a good and right life, and stand up against evil where we can.

What Bradley is talking about, is, at best, a very long shot. The concept of sovereign citizens is a very deep subject in and of itself. Somehow, this life seems like some kind of very bizarre matrix. I think if we stay in a place of love and kindness, of right, of personal responsibility, we can live in a place of love, rather than fear. I’m not sure at all of how any of it works. I believe that love is a powerful force against evil and fear and darkness. The light doesn’t always win in the short run. In the long run, I will, for as long as I live, believe that light and God and Christ do win.

Let us keep our faith, my friend! Gird ourselves for the battle. And live as best as we can, knowing where we’re going (at least strongly believing!) when our time here is done. To live free of fear is somehow a major blow against whatever evil forces there are. To laugh freely and often, to lift people up, to speak well of others and ourselves … I believe these are powerful forces. The words we speak, the words we write, are life forces themselves.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. I very much enjoy you and our talks, and I’m grateful that we have found a friendship here.

Yes, Michael, you are right. Challenging the system, is really an uphill battle. Especially, as you said, regarding 9/11. When the official version of events, is literally written in stone, all we can do is keep educating ourselves and those around us who will listen, to the plain-as-day facts. There are people, of course, who cannot accept that their own gov is/has been involved in such nefarious operations. It’s simply too large of a pill to swallow for them. They are most comfortable as long as the lattes are still available and they have a wi-fi signal when they are having dinner somewhere.
These are powerful forces, indeed.
Keep your faith in God and Christ. That is what will get you, all of us, through this. I used to doubt that. Not anymore.
Keep your very insightful comments coming. We need them now more than ever to counter all the noise coming from those who follow the ‘great deceiver.’
Happy Thanksgiving, wherever you may be! Me too.

To eliminate Christianity has long been on the communist’s radar. God, family, and patriotism: the three pillars of free people and free nations. Communists recognized long ago what those pillars are, and for many decades, have undermined morality, and family, God and patriotism. The attacks are withering. We can draw strength from God through it all. And as we see the enemies around us, we can speak clearly and strongly to them. Our voices make a difference. Maybe not much … but enough of us, speaking clearly, are a powerful force.

One of my frequent prayers is, ‘Father, not my will, but Thy will be done.’ I don’t know what God’s will is through all of this, or for my life. I pray for His will be done constantly, and trust that God guides those of us who seek him, and have faith in him.

We are blessed beyond measure. May we give thanks always to God who gives us life.

Contributing to the tragedy of Christian persecution is the indifference of the West. That is not surprising, considering that so many of the political elite and most of their citizens have rejected God and His moral law and replaced Him in favour of the false god Allah and his adherents.
The Christian church will never be eradicated, because Jesus said that nothing will prevail against His church.

But go into a church in the Greater Toronto Area and few are willing to talk about the savage persecution of Christians overseas. You won’t hear of it in a sermon or prayers – let alone from the worst media in the world. It might create ‘animosity’ toward their church, they will say in a thorough cowardly way, so Christian “brothers and sisters”(some brothers and sisters these!) are left to their own devises because to do anything other might be ‘racist’ and furthermore it ‘so uncomfortable’ talking about such things.
