“Raise Your Voice” Prayer Vigil in Foley Square – October 15, 2017 – 6 pm (The JDL was there, too – in SUPPORT of travel RESTRICTIONS)
“On October 18th, the newest Muslim Ban will fully go into effect. Our coalition is mobilizing supporters to go to Washington that same day, but we’re also organizing for candlelight vigil the weekend before. As this administration continues to exclude thousands of people with discriminatory policy, we stand up and fight back… to show the world that New Yorkers stand with our brothers and sisters affected by the Muslim Ban! #NoMuslimBanEver”

This event began with Debbie Almontaser (Intifada NYC T shirt) as she announced the Maghreb Prayer, with a look at the crowd and the JDL protestors; then an excerpt of the Maghreb prayer. (video 1)
After the Maghreb prayer Almontaser introduced the groups, many progressive Jewish Groups, that supported the march, rally, prayer vigil.

Lastly, they were followed with words from members of the affected (Muslim) states as Almontaser introduced two of the speakers (video 3)
Vice President for Academic Affairs & Associate Provost Dr. Reza Fakhari, elected by the Board of Directors of Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) as its Vice Chairman.
Almontaser mentioned the Yemeni Bodega Strike, where as many as 5,000 business owners and their supporters gathered in Brooklyn for a protest against President Trump’s immigration ban. The speaker led Yemeni Bodega strike and is Vice President of the Yemeni American Merchants Assoc., Zaid Nagi.

As one can see from the photo above, Raise Your Voice is a CAIR project. CAIR is burnishing their image by being part of the “Resistance”, as defined by their inclusion in the umbrella group “Indivisible”, which is the Left’s version of the Tea Party. CAIR will use their newly minted legitimacy to push for the admission of more Muslims into the country. Contrast that with CAIR claiming that giving preferential treatment to Christians fleeing ISIS would be a violation of the Constitution. CAIR has no interest, or apparently any understanding of the Constitution, and violate the Constitution when ever they please.

Although it SHOULD be a Muslim travel ban. Continuing to allow 1st amendment protections to Islam and Muslims (a subversive, terroristic ideology and its followers) is a suicide wish.

Founding Fathers made a huge MISTAKE not disqualifying Islam from what they meant by “religion” in the Bill of Rights. We have to refer to Islam as IslamoNazism to make it clear that it represents a political cultural tyranny and that it can’t be cloaked under the term “religion.”

In the first video, there was something very disturbing. Somehow, some poor animal must have been caught in a trap. That is pure cruelty. With a crowd that size, surely someone could have gone and put it out of its misery. I had no idea that New Yorkers were such sadists. For the sake of goodness to animals … someone … please …. the next time you hear such caterwauling … please make it a clean kill. Don’t allow some beast to suffer.
