This morning, in light of the Harvey Weinstein scandal that is upsetting both Hollywood and Washington D.C., The Independent published an article entitled, How the teachings of Islam could help us prevent more sexual abuse scandals. The article is written by American civil rights attorney and Muslim American activist Qasim Rashid, who claims to have a “special interest in advocating for women’s rights” and states that his “advocacy is informed not just by the law, but by strategies detailed in Islamic teachings and the Prophet Muhammad’s example to pre-empt sexual abuse.”
In possibly one of the worst pieces of propaganda and taqiyya to ever hit the mainstream, Rashid advocates for Sharia to be the American legal baseline when dealing with sexual harassment and abuse in the West. The author scolds Christian congressmen who preach “empty dogmatic theories” and promises that Islam already has a “proven secular model to deal with these issues.” You read that correctly – an American attorney is advocating that Sharia law take over American jurisprudence when it comes to sexual issues. How can one be licensed to uphold the Constitution when their values are diametrically opposed to it?
Rashid starts the article by accusing our Commander-in-Chief of achieving the “pinnacle of success despite the decades long testimony of sexual abuse and rape from dozens of women.” The article also accuses a slew of other republican men who have never been formally charged or convicted of a crime, such as Bill O’Reilly, of contributing to a society that advances rape culture.

Of course, Rashid conspicuously forgets to mention Democrats who are actually convicted sexual predators and pedophiles, such as Anthony Weiner. Weiner is the husband of Hillary Clinton’s right-hand woman and Muslim Brotherhood associate, Huma Abedin. He is currently sentenced to prison for sending explicit photographs to underage girls, with one of the photographs taken next to his infant son in bed. Weiner cannot be within 150 feet of a school, which is why this photograph shows Weiner walking his son to school and saying goodbye from a corner across from the street. There is also Jeffrey Epstein, and lets not forget the former President William Jefferson Clinton, who disgraced the Oval Office and was impeached for lying about it.

Rashid isn’t the only person who tried to deflect Weinstein’s actions onto Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Hussein Obama and even the once-funny Seth Meyers actually tried to put Weinstein and Trump in the same category. After Meyers told Trump supporters to “F*ck off,” he went on to state that America needs to band together against a “systematic problem of misogyny,” as evidenced by Weinstein and Trump wielding so much power.
Let’s clear up Trump’s statements to Access Hollywood once and for all: Trump never admitted sexual assault. The elements of sexual assault are 1.) Committing a sexual act against another without consent; a.) by threatening or placing that person in fear; b) causing bodily harm to that person; c) making a fraudulent assertion that act serves a professional purpose; or d) inducing the belief that the person is another person. No prosecutor could ever press charges against Trump based on that video. The woman who Trump was supposedly talking about in the video has never contradicted Trump’s statement that she consented to being touched. Therefore, as it stands, Trump was never bragging about a sexual assault.
Accusing Weinstein and Trump of being in the same category is par for the course democratic manipulation. What is much more insidious and far more terrifying is the taqiyya propaganda published this morning by an American attorney. Rashid first addresses women’s clothing choices being blamed for sexual assault and notes, “while the Quran obliges women to dress modestly as a covenant with God, Islam prescribes no punishment whatsoever for women who choose to dress otherwise.”
However, the Quran and Hadiths detail a very different story. In Islam, haya is something that Muslims believe every human being is born with, and is the reason Islam has a dress code for women and men to promote modest dressing. The Quran and the Sunnah both affirm there is indeed a dress code in Islam:
“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed.” (Quran 33:59)
Say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and protect their private parts (from sins); and they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what appear thereof…(Quran 24:31).
When a girl reaches the menstrual age, it is not proper that anything should remain exposed except this and this. He pointed to the face and hands. [Abu Dawud]
Islam also recognize the awrah, which are parts of the body that should be covered. These are, in part, the rules that describe when and where Muslim women can take her hijab off. The Quran and Hadiths have multiple references that Muslim women are to be known for their modesty and haya, and should never make a “foolish display of herself.”
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent and to draw their veils and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband’s fathers, their sons, their husband’s sons, their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their women, or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women…(Quran 24:31)
Rashid’s article also mentions rape, but only states that the Muslim prophet Muhammad punished an accused rapist on the testimony of the rape survivor alone. While Muslims believe those stories may have happened, Rashid is leaving out a crucial part of the story. In Sahih Bukhari (5:59;462), we see Muhammad establishing the rule that four witnesses must be presented in rape accusations after his child bride and favorite wife, Aisha, was accused of cheating. Three witnesses corroborated the event, but Muhammad apparently did not want to believe it, and so established the arbitrary rule that four witnesses are required.
As evidenced by Muhammad’s actions as well as the Quran and Hadiths, under Islamic law, rape can only be proven if there are a minimum of four witnesses. A woman who makes a rape accusation without witnesses admits to fornication; and a woman who accuses a married man is accused of adultery.
Quran 2:282 Establishes that a woman’s testimony is worth only half that of a man’s in court
Quran 24:4 “And those who accuse free women then do not bring four witnesses, flog them…”
Quran 24:13 “Why did they not bring four witnesses of it? But as they have not brought witnesses they are liars before Allah.”
Quran 2:223 “Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will…” (Muslims believe there is no such thing as rape in marriage, as a man is permitted unrestricted sexual access to his wives.)
Rashid being licensed to practice law, as well as the Independent publishing this article, are terrifying reminders of where we are culturally in the West, and why we always need to stay vigilant to the daily attacks on our freedoms.

It would be a very good thing to put shariah law into play in parts of America where there are a lot of muslims. It would apply to everyone, thus giving the American people a limited exposure to the insanity that shariah really is. Here is a brief summary of a few points of shariah that would be if interest.
• A Muslim will not be subject to retaliation (prosecution) if he kills an apostate, since it is someone who deserves to die.
• Parents and grandparents will not be prosecuted for killing their offspring or offspring’s offspring. This law is significant to getting those who honor kill off the hook.
• A Muslim will not be executed for killing a kaffir (non-Muslim).
• It is obligatory for a Muslim to lie if the purpose is obligatory, such as fulfilling Allah’s commandments of jihad.
• Slander and exaggeration is allowed if the purpose is lawful. No guilt or shame should be associated with slander of the perceived enemy, and if it is for protecting Islam and for the benefit of Muslims.
• Sharia has no respect for sovereignty of other nations and non-Muslims, because of the doctrine of jihad, defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion.”
• It is a capital (enormity) crime for any Muslim who chooses to “Not perform jihad or flee from combat with (kaffir) unbelievers.”
• It is the duty of every Muslim head of state (Caliph) to wage jihadist wars against non-Muslim nations, especially neighboring ones. Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.
• A Caliph could hold office through seizure of power meaning through force.
• A Caliph is immune (Maasum), exempt, from charges of murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking, and in some cases of rape.
• A manmade government (legal system), such as democracy, is an abomination and must be eliminated.
• A percentage of Zakat (alms) must go towards jihad.
• It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph even if he is unjust.
• A caliph must be Muslim, not a slave, and male.
• The Muslim public must remove the Caliph if he rejects Islam or refuses to rule by Sharia.
• A non-Muslim cannot inherit from a Muslim.
• No testimony in court is acceptable from people of low-level jobs, such as street sweepers or bathhouse attendants. Women in low-level jobs are not awarded custody of children in case of divorce.
• A non-Muslim cannot rule, even over a non-Muslim minority.
• Homosexuality is punishable by death.
• Women are forbidden from becoming president or judge.
• There is no age limit for marriage of girls. The marriage contract at any age after birth and consummation of marriage at age 8 or 9.
• A husband has the right to beat his wife and does not have to say why to her family or police.
• Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband’s obligation to support her, gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home.
• Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as saying: “I divorce you,” and is effective even if the husband says he did not intend it.
• A wife has no right to divorce her husband, even if he is polygamous, with additional wives.
• A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married, her marriage is annulled.
• There is no community property between a husband and his wife/wives.
• A woman inherits half what a man inherits.
• Parents have the legal right to perform female genital mutilation on minor daughters.
• A man must pay the woman dowry to be given in exchange for his right to her sexual organs.
• A rapist may only be required to pay money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.
• A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married her marriage is annulled.
• A woman’s testimony in court is half the value of a man.
• A woman loses custody of her children if she remarries.
• To prove rape a woman must have four male witnesses.
• A woman must cover every inch of her body, which is considered awrah (a sexual organ). Exposing face is allowed by most, but not all Sharia schools.
• A Muslim man will not be prosecuted if he kills his wife if caught in the act of adultery. However, the opposite is not true since husband “could be married to the woman he was caught with.” Thus loyalty is only expected from wife, and not the husband.
• Free speech is unprotected and harshly punished if it involves any criticism of Muhammad, Islam or Sharia itself. Both Muslim and non-Muslim critics of Muhammad will be executed even if they repent.
• The banking system must be Sharia-compliant.
• A government must rule by Sharia and a Muslim head of state.
Now lets apply them to target cities which have a lot of muslims and muslim supporters, after a year, reevlauate and see how much happier the people living there are when they can actually compare the American Constitution to shariah.

According to shariah, a minority cannot be ruled by anyone other than a muslim, even if in places the majority are not muslim, they still must have a muslim ruler. If shariah is not followed, then the muslims of the area have to replace him with a shariah compliant one.

So Islam says she is not to show off her adornments (what exactly is considered adornments) but only to father, brother, husband, father in law, maid, a non vigor male slave. No mention of sisters. Interesting. While growing up I mostly wore pants and a blouse or shirt except when I was young girl my mother picked out dresses for me to wear but later I always chose long pants and a conservative top but when I got I’m my teens I did pick out a few sleeveless blouses to wear on the weekend. We wore bathing suits for swimming as kids but no one was acting sexual like the Muslims who encircle girls in a pool. I mean all you have to do is tell the boys you can not do that
It is not allowed or you will be punished but obviously in Islam the gang rape and lack of control is a learned behavior in their societies because they obviously see others do it and are never told that they can not do that and it is all her fault that you can not control themselves as boys or men. Lowering your gaze is not necessary but staring too much is not good either. Pamela you make excellent points. No one has come forward in Trumps case and it is obvious that Rashid is trying to turn the tables so to speak in defence of Islam. There is way too much over whelming evidence that far too many Muslims go to extream do to the tenants and teachings of Islam.I say the world needs a new book to replace all the other religious books. I propose a world council with men and women me included to help write this new book because all the others are just not good enough. What do say?

Unbelievable. It’s easy enough: there will be no more complaining about rape when rape is permissible. If Harvey Weinstein was a rich Muslim in a Muslim context we wouldn’t be having this conversation. He could do whatever he would want. Problem solved. I’m sure all the princes of Saudi Arabia have impeccable character and are as chivalrous as Prince Charming.
Also, the world will not be set right until it’s possible to disbar someone like him for having opinions like this.

How utterly bizarre that this article was published in a country in which muslim grooming gangs have, for over twenty years, routinely preyed on, groomed and raped underage White girls and have been enabled in this vile behaviour by racist police, social workers and local body politicians who have assiduously covered the gangs’ crimes. I should like to see Mr Rashid face off against some of the courageous young women who have waived their right to anonymity to expose the criminal behaviour of their perpetrators and repeat his claims.
