Several people are injured after a car mounted the pavement and mowed down pedestrians outside the Natural History Museum in London.A man has been arrested at the scene after several pedestrians were mowed down by a vehicle.
Dramatic pictures taken at the scene show police holding down a man covered in blood with rubble strewn across the road.
Nearby museums and Tube stations including Sloane Square and South Kensington have been evacuated while roads in the area remain closed.
An eyewitness told LBC: ‘I saw a black man being held down by civilian.’
The woman said she had been walking down Exhibition Road when she heard a loud bang.
She said a little boy around eight or nine had been injured along with a woman.
She told the radio station she believed the boy had broken his leg but was responsive but said the woman ‘wasn’t moving’.
She said: ‘The ambulance took about ten minutes to arrive, all the officials from the museum were trying to help but a lot of people were standing around very scared.’
One shocked onlooker wrote on Twitter: ‘Just witnessed a car drive into people in London. Safe for now please message your friends if they’re here near the national museum.’
Another user posted: ‘Looks like a guy tried to mow people down at the natural history museum.’
Lesley Carter wrote: ‘Recommend steering clear of the NaturalHistoryMuseum – Police incident – man has mounted the curb in a car attempting to run people over.’

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told MailOnline: ‘Police were called at 1421 on Saturday, 7 October to reports of a collision in Exhibition Road, South Kensington.
‘It is believed that a number of pedestrians have been injured. Officers are on scene, and the London Ambulance Service have been called.
‘A man has been arrested at the scene. Enquiries to establish the circumstances and motive are underway.
‘If you have any information about this incident, please call 101.’
The Natural History Museum tweeted: ‘There’s been a serious incident outside the Museum.
‘We are working w/ @metpoliceuk and will provide an update when we have more information.’

Should this event prove to be a terror attack then it will act against Khan and his stupid statements, but never the less, it once again shows genuine British Londoners raising to the challenge of Islamic terrorism by bringing him down with no thought for their own safety, they didn’t know whether he had a knife or not and neither were they wearing stab proof vests {unlike the police}.

A muslum in NYC mowed down a couple of people there AT HIGH SPEED. One woman, a British woman, had to have her leg amputated. The authorities in NYC deemed it an accident, as reported right here on pamelageller some 5 years ago.

Hear hear. We all need to be alert, and on the lookout even in the most mundane situations. Those men stepped up to the mark without hesitation, like the brave US servicemen and the civilian who tackled the jihadi who was ARMED WITH A MACHINE GUN on the Brussels train. Swift decisions are needed, and we have to be ready to make them.

Apparently, soldiers were marching in formation when a car mowed them over.

I try not to jump to conclusions & we’ll probably never be told the truth, but the fact that it’s been radio silenced leads me to believe it was a really bad driver from “the religion of pieces”.

You are probably correct about there not being sufficient number of muslims to elect this disgusting terrorist supporting major, but many of the votes were postal votes that require no form of ID, which is common throughout the UK and of course abused by all Labor constituencies to gain more voters, especially when the candidate is a muslim. Then of course, you have too many feeble Brits that cannot be bothered to vote. Watching their soap operas and drinking in the pubs is more important to them.

People like white Christian Poles might be forced to leave by Brexit, but Britain will still be left with the largest populations of Pakistani, Bangladeshis, Nigerians, Somalis et al in Europe, not to mention the first Muslim mayor of a major Western capital city. Almost all the Poles I know are here to work and earn, are not on welfare, and intend at some point to return to Poland.
