Remember, Obama grew up in “moderate” Indonesia. Why didn’t he ever address the vicious oppression, subjugation and supremacism of Islam in Muslim countries? Why was he constantly campaigning for Islam as a religion of peace? He was disingenuous and dangerous, and the devastation he wrought will take decades to repair.

A Muslim group in Indonesia have forced the cancelation of a Reformation celebration event, saying they were plotting to convert Muslims to Christianity.
Story continues below advertisementThe Reformed Evangelical Church of Indonesia had organised an open-air service at a football stadium in Yogyakarta, a city on an Indonesian Island. In their cancelation statement they called it ‘a national prayer service to mark 500 years of Reformation’.
But the Forum Ukhuwah Islamiyah (FUI), who are part of the Indonesian Ulema Council – a body of Muslims that converse between the Indonesian government and the Muslim community – wrote to the stadium officials asking them to not let the gathering go ahead because they believed it would involve evangelism.
They also threatened to disrupt the service if it went ahead.
The Christian organisers, led by the Reverend Stephen Tong, therefore cancelled the event “to avoid acts of intolerance”.
Police rejected the claim that hardliner pressure forced the cancellation of the service.
Yogyakarta police spokesman Yulianto said it did not go ahead because organizers did not have a permit to stage the event….

Indonesia WAS Buddhist — until the f’ing muslums conquered them and forcibly converted them to islum (just like in Malaysia). Perhaps this is a historical motivation for Burmese Buddhists to expel the f’ing muslum vermin at gunpoint from their country.

It is the prevailing, though not a proven, assumption and given the spread of Islam in other regions by the sword, followed by forced conversion it may be that we have much still to discover about the arrival and growth of Islam in Indonesia. Certainly the information in the By Region section of the attached link indicates there was more than a touch of the usual Islamic modus operandi. I once saw an interview with an Indonesian Jew. His synagogue was deliberately located in a majority Christian area of Indonesia (spit) and was completely nondescript — there was absolutely no external evidence it was a synagogue. He was the only member of the congregation willing to be interviewed.
The oldest synagogue in Indonesia mysteriously burned to the ground in Indonesia and the all muslum fire department wasn’t able to do anything about it.
