WATCH: Pamela Geller on ABN’s ‘Islam and the News’ discussing ‘FATWA: Hunted in America’

12

I did an hour long show with Tony Gurule, “Islam and The News,” part of the Second International Apologetics Marathon of 2017 (October). We discuss the fatwa on my head, the raging jihad and what it all means to the average American.

My book, my story, is a must-read. Get it – don’t delay.

It was good to be able to heat Pamela express herself at length. I simply do not see how anyone could listen to this and not question the widespread smear that Pamela is a “hater”: that simply was not in evidence during this discussion.

Some reactions to the interview.

I thought Pamela and Dave both missed an opportunity by failing to note something. The two of them discussed ISIS and how it upholds the fine standards of Mohammad and the earliest leaders of Islam. Of course, this is in contrast to the eyewash that often is presented that ISIS is a distortion of true Islam. What I think should have been noted is that Al Azhar University, the veritable custodian of Sunni orthodoxy, when challenged on the subject, declined to criticize ISIS for their horrific practices of murder and slavery of kuffars (in addition to Moslems who stand in their way). Now before going public with this, Pamela would of course need to run it down to get the specifics accurate, but that is my understanding.

I thought Dave violated a proper sense of respect for his guest, Pamela. I do understand that ABN is a Christian evangelical enterprise, and I respect that. However, when they invite an avowedly non-Christian guest, they should be respectful of the guest’s religious leanings and not give the appearance that the guest shares their religious beliefs.

Pamela gave a rather chilling depiction of how Facebook and Google (Alphabet) are kowtowing to Islam and thereby undermining the civilization and cultural norms that gave rise to their existence. I would like to see a good account of their actions in deference to sharia, but I am coming around to the attitude that they are evil in a way that Alcoa, US Steel, IBM, Microsoft and DuPont never were (to give examples of companies that were attacked by anti-trust charges).

“avowedly non-Christian guest” Jews seem to be extremely diverse in their beliefs. I believe Pam means when she says she’s a Jew she means by lineage. Some believe Christ is their Lord and Savior, some believe He was a messiah of wisdom almost the same as Jehovah Witnesses, some a historical figure, some discount all his teachings and regard them as heresy. I’ve had people just blurt out ” I’m a Jew” out of nowhere and always my immediate question to them is ” Are you a Jew by blood or by faith?” and they always get a blank look on their faces, like they never even thought about it. If your looking for a definitive answer as to what is a Jew, good luck, because all descriptions you’ll find are all over the place. I’ve never seen where Pam clearly expresses what her beliefs are, and probably never will. It seems to be a private thing to her, and like all of us may be subject to change if quality information comes along which rocks the premise of your present belief structure.

problem i find is that no one wants to listen…they prefer to bury their heads in the sand , waiting for actual SHARIA to be in force instead of just the self imposed sharia which works out the same way…

Having watched the discussion in this article, I have come to the conclusion, and I have said it many times, that I “suffer” from, what the liberals and those people who refuse to see as the reality, “Islamophobia.” Except, I do not see that definition as an “irrational” fear, as the events of these times make nothing about Islamophobia irrational. I believe myself to be a rational being. I believe myself to be a right thinking person, whose political views are centrist in nature. While I am critical about some others opinions, which I believe that I have an absolute right to be, and I will never deny those others the right to speak their opinion, I try to avoid saying things that might promote violence, although I admit that I firmly believe that we all have a right to defend ourselves from violence directed at us from any source. Simply stated, I am proud to be an Islamophobic, and I intend to continue to be one as I do not see the philosophy of Islam which preaches Jihad, Supremacy, Domination, Outdated and gender unequal laws, otherwise known as Sharia, ever changing. The commentators in this article likewise should continue to be proud of the positions they are taking with respect to the vile philosophy of the belief system that is Islam, and carry with honor the accusations that they are “Islamophobic.”
