Exclusive: Man who knew Garland jihadi Nadir Soofi says “he took his religion very seriously”

I received this extraordinary email from Charles Whitlach, a man who knew one of the Garland jihadis, Nadir Soofi. Get the full details of what happened at my Garland free speech event, the jihad attack upon that event, and the Muslim attempts to kill me afterward in my new book, FATWA: Hunted in America.

Ms Pamela Geller:

I met Nadir Soofi when he responded to my Craigslist ad that I posted for a neighbor (the item was a Linksys WGC200 cable modem, router, WiFi access point, for ten dollars).

Nadir called and wanted to know if the modem worked. I tested it and made sure he had access to the documentation. After a lot of questions I said, “How can you go wrong, you’re renting a modem now from the cable company for more money each month”. I finally told him, “Just bring it back if it doesn’t work, I will give you your money back”.

Nadir came to my door dressed in very strange foreign clothes with a black cap on his head. I tried to ignore this. We talked in front of the house for about half and hour and he attempted to convert me to Islam.

I then told him I was a Christian, but he informed me that Christianity had been corrupted, along with the Christian and Jewish testaments.

I told him I have no proof for God’s existence – but nonetheless occasionally God gives us a bit of evidence, and that I know for certain that at least one chapter of one English translation is, in fact, absolutely accurate. And I quoted the verses to him from memory.

Nadir did not seem to be particularly hateful of kufur in general, and he was *very* likeable. The biggest impression I had of him was he took his religion very seriously. And my “gut feeling” was that he was a very social member of (the equivalent to) a Baptist Fellowship.

Several months later the Jihad attempt in Garland occurred and I figured out from the news reports that it was Nadir who got himself killed, I knew that it was *his religion* that drove him to do the things he did.

I hope my story is interesting. I know neither you nor I have any joy that Nadir got himself killed (but rightfully killed), but I certainly have joy he did not kill anyone else and he was stopped from further acts of Islamic Jihad-of-the-sword.

Yes, Pamela Geller, you may publish my account of the meeting with Nadir Soofi, and also use my name.

I am a bit late to understanding Islam. I met quite a few Muslims in graduate school at ASU (Electrical Engineering) in the years 2006-2011. My sense at the time was that many of the Muslims I met were harmless, like a student from Egypt. However, when a friend and I talked with a Muslim from Libya whose family was at risk in the war, and afterwards we told him we would *pray* for his family’s safely, I got the very strangest sense of an unspoken risk and danger from him, and that this type of good-will from us was incomprehensible to him. Of course, I knew nothing of Islam at that time.

Pamela, if you are reading this, I just finished watching *every one* of your YouTube videos (the ones they haven’t banned or deleted – like one that is now unsearchable and unplayable in the U.S.) and I must say I understand where you started from and where you are now, and the huge price you have paid in both tangible and intangible things, just to speak the truth, to attempt to slow a darkness, that if no resistance is offered, will completely envelope the earth and condemn it to a millennia of hell.

Very courageous for someone to prove that much personal information as muslims will seek vengeance in addition to random violence. This is very common among muslims, they are venomous reptiles in sheep’s clothing.

Was at the Garland event that day. Maybe we’ll get to the bottom of the govt. cover-up about what really went down, and the FBI’s involvement. Not holding my breath.

Muslims shoot themselves in the foot.
Islam teaches that the New Testament has been “corrupted”.
Yet the Koran says that Allah sent down the Injil (the Gospels), and “None can change his words” (K.18:27).
So which is it?
