California Becomes ‘Sanctuary State’ With Gov. Jerry Brown Signature
California is officially a sanctuary state, thanks to the recent signature of Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, of course, on the “California Values Act.”
The measure, to take effect in January, prohibits local law enforcement from asking immigrants about their status.

It also bans police from complying with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
What an amnesty disaster for the nation.

Senate Bill 54 will go into effect in January 2018. Brown signed the bill entitled the “California Values Act” and released a signing statement. Brown explained what the bill does and does not do.
The bill prohibits local law enforcement from asking about immigration status in the course of routine interactions and prohibits them from complying with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer requests.
“The bill further directs our Attorney General to promulgate model policies for local and state health, education, labor and judiciary officials to follow when they deal with immigration matters,” wrote Brown.
“This bill does not prevent or prohibit Immigration and Customs Enforcement or the Department of Homeland Security from doing their own work in any way,” said Brown in the signing letter.
According to Brown, “The bill does not prohibit sheriffs from granting immigration authorities access to California jails to conduct routine interviews, nor does it prevent cooperation in deportation proceedings for anyone in state prison or for those in local jails for any of the hundreds of serious offenses listed in the TRUST Act.”
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to questions about the bill during Thursday’s press briefing, “I hope that California will push back on their Governor’s, I think, irresponsible decision moving forward.”
Brown signed several other immigration-related bills into law on Thursday: AB 21, AB 291, AB 299, AB 343, AB 450, AB 699, SB 29, SB 68, SB 156, and SB 257. A statement from the Governor’s office touted Brown’s signing of legislation to fund legal services for illegal aliens “seeking naturalization and deportation defense,” to provide health coverage for illegal aliens, the “California Dream Act” and a law to provide California driver licenses to illegal aliens. Brown also signed legislation giving $30 million in financial aid and legal services to “immigrant students” and those who fall under the soon-to-be-discontinued federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Let California and Jerry Brown rot. They already are, Jerry Brown just an infantile fool who behaves like a rebellions adolescent. Well then, punished him. Never did I think that the United States of America would one day become the Disunited States of America, but by the hand of its many hate-filled liberal/left citizens that is it’s direction. Enemies of the country are watching and in time will exact a price – of which I now hope California receives cataclysmic punishment. Maybe the San Andreas Fault will do the country a favour, split and drop much California into the Pacific. Bye bye Jerry Brown.

It beats me too, but this seems to be America today. Utterly disgusting liberal crooks escape investigation and charges for criminal and treasonous actions, while Trump for no good reason (other than liberal/left scheming), though president gets investigated by Robert Mueller. I knew little about Mueller till this point, but now loathe the sight of him and if disaster befalls him I won’t shed a tear. This is a P.S. to my blog below. The DOJ is led by Jeff Sessions who is proving a totally gutless wonder when lacking moral outrage against the criminal actions of Clinton and others, and actually refusing to take actions. Just watch the video of Jason Chaffez relating his exasperating last appointment with Sessions. Sessions, it is said, is a Christian. That being the case, where is his moral outrage – based upon Judeo-Christian principles – against despicable criminal actions, not least slander and the ‘elimination’ of individuals about to testify against Hillary Clinton? In my estimation the man is a cowardly fop. Maybe Cruz would have been a better choice.

Yes. I don’t know who voted for this piece of garbage but, he could care less what the working people of this state think or feel. He is intent in spending hundreds of billions of dollars to build a high speed rail system through the state that no one needs and will go through towns where practically no one lives. And the price keeps climbing daily for that boondoggle.

What’s keeping you, Izlamis…..I got out years ago because I saw it coming.
Then I moved to Vegas…..and when housing shot through the roof in California the Libtards looked over here and saw the housing one fourth the costs of CA….they made a mad rush over here and snapped up everything…..which artificially drove values through the roof……most couldn’t pay because the Obama Administration said the bank couldn’t make them prove they could pay.
Ergo, the housing crash started in Vegas…..there was a very good film on this….oddly enough, narrated by Lefty Matt Damon….look it up on IMBD…it’s probably in his credits.
Up until then Nevada was a stanch Republican state….when the loons from Ca came in that all ended…
I left Nevada for 7 years and only recently returned due to family concerns….
It’s become California “East”…..and a sanctuary city…..not the same Vegas anymore.
But they have also infiltrated AZ, New Mexico, and Texas…former stanch Republican Freedom loving states….they’ve made it where’s there is no where else to go now…..so start resisting where you are…take back your state.

While all States have the right to do this after the States allowed tge Federal Government to control the finances the do not have the right to reject Federal law and still receive Federal funds. Lesser political entities like counties and cities do not have this same protection. While a state can exercise its rights any county or city that does this on its own is in open rebellion. No entity that receives tax dollars has the right to degy the taxing authority ans still get paid. This especially means those schools that promote treason. No tax money in any form. Subsidies, grants, or student loans. Refunds should be demanded dating back to they first started rejected the U.S.
