London market on LOCKDOWN: Shoppers told to ‘get out!’ as area evacuated amid bomb scare
POLICE screamed at shoppers to “get out” as Leadenhall Market in London was evacuated over a potential bomb scare.

Early reports suggest the dramatic lockdown was over a suspicious package, and police cordoned off several roads near the shops.
Leadenhall market is near London’s financial district – just a short walk from the Bank of England – and is often very busy during lunch hours.
The market also sits right in the heart of London just yards away from London Bridge where a terror attack struck in June.
Customers having their lunch in salad bar Chopp’d told Express.co.uk police entered the cafe and told eveyrone to leave immediately – and take all their belongings and laptops with them.
Several people have taken to social media after being cleared from shops and cafes in the area, with some claiming police had screamed at them to “get out”.
One twitter user said: “Just at #LeadenhallMarket police screaming at everyone to get outAnother added: “Received email from office saying Terrorism Threat in Leadenhall Market just outside my office. Hope everybody is safe.”
One eye witness told Daily Star Online: “I was in the shop Tiger in Leadenhall Market and I heard shouting coming from outside.
Leadenhall Market has come under lockdown
They later added: “Thanks for your patience – the item at #LeadenhallMarket has been confirmed as non-suspicious by officers. Cordon will be lifted shortly.”
The incident comes at the same time cops swoop on another area of London over another bomb scare.
Police have been investigating reports of a suspicious package near Holborn, central London, with specialist officers being scrambled to the scene at 12.35pm today.
Officers were called to Great Queen Street and cordoned off the road – which runs between Covent Garden and Holborn Tube stations.

Get used to it, terrorism is a fact of life in a big city. Bring more muslims in, that way the odds of one of them getting murdered is increased.

Not all Muslims…many don’t support jihadists at all; I’ve known some who are just as disgusted with terrorists as anyone else. They shouldn’t have to suffer because of cowards like ISIS or Al Qaeda.
Don’t forget, many of the Yazidi women who escaped ISIS captivity were sheltered by Muslim families–look up their testimonies, and you’ll see that. Also, the Muslims living under ISIS were relieved to be freed when Mosul and other areas were liberated. They were horrified by these evil men, too.
Should the jihadists pay for their crimes? YES. No question there.
But it won’t do anyone any good to make more innocent people suffer along with the guilty ones/

Perhaps, but many Muslims in the West care more about their own image than about the lives of those non-Muslims murdered by terrorists. I do not think all Muslims should be killed, but their religion does need serious reform.

The whole point of my earlier comments was that while we do need to stop jihadists, it’s ridiculous to assume that every single Muslim on the planet is a rabid jihadist.
IslamIsTyranny, you’re clearly frustrated….but try to find a constructive outlet for it. Contact congress for better border control and speak against mass-migration, join a neighborhood watch and alert authorities about any suspicious people, learn self-defense, visit the website ACT! for America; it’s run by a Christian woman who speaks against radicalism, and from her website you can send messages to Congress, sign petitions, or plan rallies.
You may hate me, but believe it or not, I do wish you well.

I’m defending non-violent Muslims, NOT the jihadists! There’s a difference between evil ISIS members and Muslims who would never hurt anyone, even if you don’t see it.
And there have been Muslims who denounced jihad….but you automatically assume they’re lying and hate them anyway; you’ve made up your mind that all Muslims are evil. That’s your choice if you want to believe that.
Let me add–I hate jihadists as much as you do!
But I don’t hate ALL Muslims because THERE IS NO WAY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE BILLIONS OF THEM ARE EVIL.

I cry for everyone being hurt and enslaved, whatever their religion. Slavery and rape and murder are inexcusable. ISIS’s actions towards the Yazidis is especially horrible.
So please don’t assume that I ignore Muslim-on- non Muslim attacks. I’m against that. I don’t excuse it.

Jihadists need to be stopped. I agree with that completely. We need tougher borders and immigration policies.
But I’m also saying that killing all Muslims won’t solve anything.
You may not see/know many innocent Muslims, but they are there, and they shouldn’t be lumped in with jihadists and their supporters. Just like all whites should not be lumped in with the KKK, or all Germans with Nazis.
It’s easier for people to think “all” people in any group are bad, but that’s no different than ISIS members saying all non-Muslims are dirty infidels. The thinking in both cases is flawed and genocidal.

I am the world’s biggest “islamophobe” but I have also been greatly helped by people who considered themselves to be muslims. Turning the matter into a blackwhite us versus them is a great way to end up with yourself getting killed merely for being a “kaffir”. All muslum states have some sort of islamic indoctrination program — in some such states (Indonesia [spit]) they take the form of re-education camps for those muslums who want to leave islum.

More often it is the taxpayer that pays for the jihadis crime and will do for generations to come. Have you noticed that invariably terrorists leave behind young children, often 4 or more. How much will the required wraparound psychiatric services, welfare and housing benefits for them and their mother/s end up costing? What is the likelihood the children, despite our best intentions and efforts. will become radicalised once they are older? I would suggest the probability is high and apologist attitudes are simply shoring up further problems for our own children to deal with.

The police shouldn’t have told people to bring their belongings with them….in situations like that, seconds could count, and it’s not safe to waste time by grabbing your things.
In any evacuation due to bombs threats, active shooters, or fire, it’s critical for everyone to escape immediately, not pause to bring purses or bags. No object is worth risking your life for.
