Report: Israeli aircraft hit chemical weapons, missile site in Syria
Syrian media outlets are reporting that Israel attacked and destroyed a missile and chemical weapon development center near Hama. According to the reports, four Israeli planes carried out the airstrike. The site was apparently used by the Syrian government and Tehran.

Syrian and Lebanese news outlets reported Thursday morning that Israel destroyed a research center for developing missiles and chemical weapons operated by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad near the city of Hama. Israel has yet to comment on the reports.
According to the reports in Lebanon, the facility was the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center, which is used as an Iranian factory that manufactures long-range missiles. The reports claim that four Israeli aircraft infiltrated Syrian airspace via Lebanon and released at least four missiles. Hours after the attack, the Syrian Army announced that two soldiers were killed and that it will retaliate.
Attack in Syria Photo Credit: Channel 2 NewsIn recent weeks, the Syrian opposition claimed that under the auspices of Tehran, Assad’s regime transferred the factories for missile production from the Aleppo area to the outskirts of Hama. Recent satellite images confirmed Iran’s growing presence in this region of Syria in order to build missile factories.

It is possible that these improvements include the development of non-conventional warheads. The International Atomic Energy Agency previously asked to inspect the facility.
If the reports about Israel being responsible for the attack are accurate, the airstrike would represent a change in Israel’s defense strategy because Hama is located in the northwestern part of Syria. In the past, all attacks carried out by the Israeli Air Force in Syria were against targets located in a more southern part of the country. A few weeks ago, Israel warned that Iran is building missile factories in Syria and Lebanon and Israeli defense officials stated that the growing Iranian presence in the region is a strategic threat to Israel.

Obama yielded to the mullahs, and gave them a pathway to the nuclear club and did nothing to prevent North Korea from gaining admittance. I find it strange that the same kind of voices that were nearly hysterical over the prospects of nuclear war during the Cold War seem oddly unperturbed at the prospect of unstable regimes having them.
Trump would ensure his place on Rushmore in my book if he were to take whatever action is needed to deny Iran and North Korea a nuclear arsenal. Quite possibly millions of people would die if he took the necessary measures, but I am confident that even more millions will die as nuclear weapons proliferate.

After NK, Iran that still doesn’t have a miniaturized, nuclear war head and a reliable delivery platform, will be quite a bit easier to handle, with possible casualties in the low 1000’s not 1000000’s

The EU is doing business with Iran now that they are flush with the cash Obama sent. History, if the world lasts another fifty years before massive nuclear war and radiation that with a half life of three hundred thousand years will mean most life on earth extinct. Russians have a lot of Jews in their society and even in Putin’s circle. And Russia prefer to kept relationship with both it’s own allies (Iran, Syria, Venezuela), and Israel safe. Playing two foot here.

Good for Israel. Iran is no doubt developing its war apparatus wherever they can, and I expect that Iran is working with North Korea in regard to the development of nuclear missiles in violation of the horrible agreement that they signed with us under the previous administration. Israel knows that and we should know that. Israel must protect themselves and they must secure real defensible borders and continue to develop what they need militarily to defy the horrible intentions of Iran. Again, Israel, keep up the good work and continue to hope that our new administration will see the need for Israel’s conduct and will support their efforts accordingly.

We should have taken out Iran’s nuclear site with BiBi and while Obama was president. Now, it will be much harder. Iran and North Korea working on a missile with a nuke long range. Matter of time. Contact your legislators and congressmen and lets get it done. Your posts in here may help you sleep but, are only delaying the inevitable.

I have written on many occasions to my Senators and Legislators and expressed my concerns, and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that the people’s representatives are more concerned about keeping their political positions, and getting re-elected rather than approach governing with the concept of what is best for the people of this great country. We all ought to be pushing for term limits and the preclusion of elected officials to lobby after the term limits put them out of office. I believe that when our founding fathers created our government, they never imagined that they were creating full time permanent employment for this country’s politicians. Unless the people recognize this and push for Constitutional amendments to institute what I have stated, we will continue to elect those who are only interested in retaining their power and control, a very dangerous and despotic result.
