This Pope seems hell-bent on making sure that Europe commits suicide. He is betraying the Catholic (and non-Catholic) people of Europe, and encouraging the entrance into Europe of people among whom he knows there will be violent jihadis, and he doesn’t care. Europeans dead? It’s the price of diversity!

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis on Monday urged countries to greatly improve their welcome to migrants and stop collective expulsions, saying migrants’ dignity and right to protection trumps national security concerns.
Story continues below advertisementFrancis’ politically pointed message was made in view of the Catholic Church’s 2018 world refugee day, celebrated Jan. 14. It comes amid mounting anti-immigrant sentiment in Europe and beyond following waves of migrant arrivals and Islamic extremist attacks.
In the message, Francis demanded governments welcome, protect, promote and integrate migrants, saying Jesus’ message of love is rooted in welcoming the “rejected strangers of every age.”
He demanded a simplified process of granting humanitarian and temporary visas and rejected arbitrary and collective expulsions as “unsuitable.” He said the principle of ensuring each person’s dignity “obliges us to always prioritize personal safety over national security.”…
Ignoring critics who say his calls are unrealistic and naive, Francis insisted in the new message that border guards must be trained to protect migrants and that each new arrival, regardless of legal status, must be guaranteed access to basic services beyond health care.
That extends to guaranteeing access to consulates, the justice system and the ability to open a bank account and survive financially, he said….
His call was immediately rejected by the leader of Italy’s anti-immigrant Northern League party, which has opposed government proposals to change Italy’s law to accelerate citizenship for children born in Italy to non-Italians.
“If you want to do it in the Vatican, go ahead,” Matteo Salvini wrote on Facebook. “But as a Catholic, I don’t think Italy can welcome and support the whole world.”

Exactly, if you have a birth certificate, that is a pledge of debt toward the national debt. That debt is owed to the Pontiff at the Vatican. If you haven’t removed yourself from their legal status, then you’re the Pope’s bitch slave. That is apparently what the Pope wants, for all to be under his dominion by having a certificate of ownership of citizens.

Be patient,my friend. Islam has the whole eternity to conquer as it has done with other parts of the world. I am against leftists too but primarily for letting Islam invade our societies. Catholics may be this or that (primarily judgmental) but they are definitely a threat to anyone’s freedom and whatever they are has nothing with their being Catholic. It is all right if you dislike them, but they are a part of the western world so they can not be seen as invaders.

this is not exactly true, lots of Latin Americans (specially Cubans) are fully integrated in US society and won’t vote for a left wing government,besides many Latin Americans have abandoned the catholic church and have converted to other branches of christianity. There are countless of very decent Latin Americans but I do agree that criminals of whichever nationality should be dealt with, i.e. incarcerated and kicked out,
Muslims on the other hand are the proverbial Trojan Horse.

Most times in the past, anyone ‘interpreting’ what the Pope says was revealed as portraying their beliefs (of lack there of) instead of what the Pope was really saying.
With this Pope I am unsure of that. “Is the Pope Catholic?” is a valid question with this one.

The fool is in Rome: does he know (or approve?) that today riot police there had to turn water cannons on hundreds of violent “migrants” from Ethiopia and Eritrea who were throwng gas canisters, bricks and bottles at them? Even if they were eligible to apply for asylum by international rules, this disgraceful and unacceptable behaviour, like savages, should disqualify them from any consideration and they should be deported immediately.

Muslims constitute 5+ percent of Germany’s population.
Vatican City has around 840 inhabitants.
Does the Vatican have 42 Muslim inhabitants (5%)?
If not, the Pope should lead by example (and suffer the consequences).

My parents went on a group tour of Europe in 1973. When they visited the Vatican, they found out quickly that the Swiss Guards were really guards. You’re right. Why would the Vatican need guards now? Is there any space for “refugees” in the Vatican?

POPE FRANCIS is NO Pope John Paul II.

John Paul II was from Poland where he witnessed the Holocaust. Later as Pope, he would pray at Jerusalem for forgiveness for the historical antisemitism within Europe and the church.
Pope Francis on the other hand is from Argentina which is anti-British and anti-western. It was also a sanctuary state for Nazi war criminals.

What this increasingly heretical pope is saying is that the ten Commandments are to be ignored. I feel bad for the Catholic’s that sit in the pews. They had, about a year ago, a come home thing. No one came back to the Catholic Church. Most Catholic’s are descent people and have no say in their hierarchy. Yet other Christian venues seem to have devalued them selves into meaninglessness. If governments do not have the right and the responsibility to control who is eligible to receive “national rights” as advocated by the Pontiff, why does the Catholic Church dictate who is to be able to receive the Eucharist? So many attending a Sacred Liturgy (Funeral,Nuptial, Sacramental) strongly desire reception!

This is a major problem for us today. The Problem is THAT MINORITY RIGHT EXCEED MAJORITY RIGHTS. This has become our Achilles heel and we need to fix it. What is the use of democratic elections if the votes of the majority are disregarded by the ‘rights’ of a minority. Democracy is its own worst enemy.

Pope Francis should put his principles where his mouth is, I have not seen any Islamic refugees in Vatican City. They, the Vatican, had no problem secreting Nazi criminals after WWII while handing-out false I.D.s so the Nazis could evade punishment for war crimes.
Francis is audaciously self-aggrandizing, a spurious sermonizer, pontificating his loathing edict of Western-Democracy and culture, especially President Trump.
