McMaster Ally Bill Kristol Scheming With Jeb Bush Adviser to Oust Trump

26

Bill Kristol, a friend of national security adviser H.R. McMaster and a Republican strategist with deep political ties in Washington, D.C., is using his platform to actively oust President Donald Trump.

A recent New York Times report revealed Kristol had “begun informal conversations about creating a ‘Committee Not to Renominate the President.'”

Bill Kristol thinks he’s found a way to oust President Donald Trump from his White House perch — a curious-slash-traitorous position for a Republican to take, yes?

What a traitor to conservatism.

Breitbart has more:

Bill Kristol, the “Never Trump” saboteur and top national security adviser H.R. McMaster ally, is apparently scheming with failed Jeb Bush consultant Mike Murphy to primary or oust President Donald Trump in 2020.

According to a Saturday New York Times report, Kristol “said he had begun informal conversations about creating a ‘Committee Not to Renominate the President.’”

“We need to take one shot at liberating the Republican Party from Trump, and conservatism from Trumpism,” Kristol said.

In his recent newsletter, Kristol revealed that he met with Murphy in Southern California before last week’s Politicon conference to devise schemes to undermine Trump.

“Mike and I had lunch just after I landed Friday at a suitably obscure hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant in an L.A. strip mall,” Kristol wrote. “It’s called Hu’s Szechwan, and if any of the plots we discussed there to save the Republican Party, to say nothing of the republic, come to fruition, historians will surely dub the effort the Hu Conspiracy.”

According to Politico, in another edition of Kristol’s newsletter, he reportedly wrote that he and Murphy “ended up in a long session plotting the salvation of the GOP and conservatism from Donald Trump. We’ll see whether anything comes of it.”

Murphy has been frustrated for years that GOP primary voters have not accepted his elitist establishment candidates like Bush.

During the 2016 election cycle, Murphy reportedly pocketed millions of dollars while blowing though a whopping $100 million running Bush’s super PAC. Bush’s campaign fizzled after Trump swatted away the “low-energy” former Florida governor, and donors were reportedly livid at Murphy’s mismanagement. Bush’s advisers, for instance, reportedly initially dismissed Trump’s candidacy and did not even see him as a potential threat.

Murphy has shown over the years that he is better at fleecing wealthy candidates (he also wasted California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman’s reported nearly $180 million war chest to run an uninspiring, stale, and losing campaign to Jerry Brown), getting quoted in legacy media outlets, and whispering in the ears of establishment media figures like Chuck Todd and dumbing them down than winning presidential elections (he hasn’t won any) or figuring out what messages resonate with working-class Americans, especially those who vote in GOP primaries.

Kristol said on Saturday that the “task in 2020” for Never Trumpers is to find a way to oust Trump.

The rino’s are too stupid to realize that their “democrats in waiting” are not electable. What is needed is the true Republicans to flush the lumps that are curling the bowel, away, for good.

Unfortunately, we see no movement to replace McMaster, Rosenstein or Mueller. I am not confident that anything will happen.

The Republicans are every bit as treasonous as the Democrats. Two beasts with the same head. Perhaps these two clowns can ruminate with Obama and friends over tainted Szechuan and strategize removing the President. This is PROOF, these Republicans cannot stand serving the will of the people who voted for Trump. They HATE democracy

Actually, I think they just hate us. We get in the way of their ambitions. They are willing to sell their souls for their cushy lifestyle.

If there is a conspiracy being hatched by people the subject of this article it is not to save the Republican party, it is to sabotage the American people who voted Trump into office rejecting Hillary and the give away Democratic Party. It is conduct such as outlined in this article that is having a very negative impact on the ability to govern this country in a manner that is best for its people. Instead of attempting to find a productive approach, this article is all about the kind of conduct that supports the efforts of the anti-Trump ultra-liberal media, those who insist on faulty “political correctness,” and those who accuse the common American of racism whenever they criticize those policies that are inviting people into this country who come with fixed notions of society and are simply unable to assimilate. This conduct should stop. These people need to rethink their frustrations and present forward thinking positive suggestions to help “make America great again.” To me, that is the simple truth.

Very insightful and thought provoking comments, Dennis. With your permission, I will pass them along, with accreditation, of course.
It is very hard to fight a two-front war for survival when you have leftist enemies supported by the MSM “at the gates” … and avowed traitors to conservatism (“deep state” vermin) lurking in the halls fervently attempting to undermine your “city.” Let’s hope that someone loyal to the president, and to whom he will listen, can convince President Trump to heed the following warning from the days of the Roman Empire, and act accordingly:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor, he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” — Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman orator, statesman 42 B.C.

I very much appreciate your astute reply, and the brilliant articulation of the “traitor” within and the danger these type of people are bringing to our society. My concern is that if we do not act with appropriate compromise to get things done the way they should be, our youth and future generations will inherit a very dangerous world. We simply cannot sit back and let the unreasonable thinkers and believers do that to this country. I am hoping for term limits and constitutional requirements that all of our legislatures must expect that their benefits/treatment will be the same as it is for the common folk. It is my hope that change will end the cancerous attitude that permeates our society today, an attitude that reeks of power control and self interest first and foremost by people like those reflected in the article above..

I’m in Texas, Dennis, and definitely on board with the need to have term limits for Congress, a balanced federal budget, and a requirement that no law can be passed by Congress that applies to the general public but does not also apply equally to members of Congress, plus all federal employees and appointees. We need this to avoid unequal treatment under the law, as was done 7 years ago in a very big way. (I think it is self-evident that Democrats never could have passed Obamacare originally if they had not exempted Congress from the mandates and penalties that were found constitutional by the SCOTUS, but only as a tax!
We absolutely know that Congress will never propose limiting their own power and their time in office by limiting the time that they spend running for reelection. (WE can’t even stop all of their earmarks and the growth of the welfare rolls via a balanced budget amendment.) These are two very good reasons why I worked with a large group of others earlier this year, including Governor Greg Abbott, to pass the Article V Convention of States resolution; and Texas became the 11th such state to do so. It may take a while, but if we can get 34 states, to pass it, just 3 amendments to our Constitution can be proposed…term limits, a balanced budget and returning to federalism by limiting the powers of the federal government to only those specific duties specified in our Constitution. Then we’d still have to get at least 38 states to ratify any amendment proposed…so it’s no easy task we face.

kristol is a never-Trumper since day 1 laughing outright at the very thought DJT would even run. What lies in the brain of someone like him who would betray the tenets he professed to believe in and then when his preferred party wins the biggest election in the world and he refuses to get in line with the man elected. kristol is pitiful and, in my opinion, anyone this soft is open to bribes and co-mingling. he is a benedict arnold to his party — he needs to be cut off at the knees, drawn and quartered. he is laughable and now just a punchline…
