Members of the South Dublin County Council in Ireland decided to start flying a Palestinian flag outside their government offices in order to send a “message of solidarity” for so-called oppressed Palestinians, they said.
Talk about choosing sides.
The council members voted to fly the flag for a full month outside the County Hall in Tallaght.

One question: Do they do the same for the oppressed people of Israel?

South Dublin is set to see the Palestinian flag fly over the County Hall in Tallaght for a month in solidarity with the “oppressed people of Palestine”.
The motion, proposed by Sinn Féin councillor Enda Fanning, passed by majority at yesterday’s South Dublin County Council meeting.
No member of the council voted against the motion.
South Dublin County Council will become the fourth Irish local authority to fly the Palestinian flag, following in the footsteps of Dublin City Council, Galway County Council and Sligo County Council, who all voted to fly the flag in recent months.
Councillor Fanning said that the move sends a “small message of solidarity to the people of Palestine”.
The motion read:
Following the example set by Dublin City Council, this Council will fly the flag of Palestine over County Hall for a month in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
Fanning said: “It is only three short years this week since the Israeli onslaught on Gaza, which lasted for seven weeks, began in the summer of 2014.
“I am delighted with [the] vote in solidarity with the people of Palestine. It might seem like a very small gesture but I know from the reaction to similar decisions made by other councils that today’s vote will be applauded across Palestine and elsewhere.”
Well isn’t that special. The council members are basically showing solidarity to murderers, terrorists and those who train their kids that Jews are nothing but target practice, worthless and deserving of killing.

That message being, “We are so stupid as not to see criminal insanity, bigotry and outright stupidity when it is sitting on out heads”. There once was a potato famine in ireland, now it is an intelligence famine, the irish are as stupid as palestinians.

Worse, they have been raised in the ( once) free West and have no ‘excuse’ of being brainwashed by islam and /or terrorist groups with anti Israel agenda.
They have been given more than all preceding generations EVER had, (apart from…. common sense !) and squander their own freedoms taking the side of liars and fake victims.

Here’s a novel idea: how about the councils doing what they’re paid for and were elected to do, that is look after the interests of the people of Ireland and meet their needs, not posturing and grandstanding and wasting taxpayers’ time on world issues that are of absolutely no concern to them? I hope the voters take note of this nonsense at the next elections and send these fools packing.
