Facebook has adopted sharia-complaint policies for some time now. My feed is blocked from my millions of followers on Facebook, and I have seen my circulation drop precipitously in the past three months. For news publishers, Facebook is the motherboard of link traffic. No news site can survive without them. None of us are immune, which is why my traffic is down upwards of 70% since the block. My Facebook page has a million followers; add my organizations to that, and it is roughly 1.5 million people. Now imagine their sharing capability, and their friends and their friends — you get the picture. It’s how we fight fake news. All of my FB followers experience similar issues with their posts and shares. I receive scores of emails everyday from readers telling me of new blocks, bans and Facebook jail sentences. It’s why I am suing.
Why the block? Because under Islamic law, you cannot criticize Islam. Facebook adhering to the most extreme and brutal ideology on the face of the earth should trouble all of us, because Mark Zuckerberg has immense power. He controls the flow of information. He controls what you see and don’t see on Facebook. We did not give him the power to abridge our unalienable freedoms.
The US government used anti-trust laws to break up monopolies. They ought to break up Facebook. Section 2 of the Sherman Act highlights particular results deemed anticompetitive by nature and prohibits actions that “shall monopolize, or attempt to monopolize, or combine or conspire with any other person or persons, to monopolize any part of the trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations.” Couldn’t the same be applied to information? The United States government took down Standard Oil, Alcoa, Northern Securities, the American Tobacco Company and many others without nearly the power that Facebook has.

I am no lawyer, but considering the fact that President Theodore Roosevelt sued 45 companies under the Sherman Act, while William Howard Taft sued 75, and the fact that the US government used these vicious anti-capitalist laws to destroy huge industrial giants — could it not be used in defense of free speech?
This initiative is already in full swing: in mid-February, traffic to Jihad Watch from Facebook dropped suddenly by 90% and has never recovered. We do not post any “explicit, hateful and provocative material that incites violence and terrorism,” but Facebook is acting as judge, jury and executioner in all this. There is no appeal and no recourse. This is at heart a Sharia endeavor, an Islamic supremacist attempt to compel the West to adopt Sharia blasphemy laws forbidding criticism of Islam, and it’s working well.
How did Joel Kaplan, a Western liberal, feel while sitting there in Islamabad with Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, listening to Khan tell him about “the madness unleashed against Islam and holy personalities in the name of freedom of expression”? Does Kaplan know or care about the importance of the freedom of expression to free society? Did he feel any sense of irony in having gone into a business dedicated to communication and now having traveled halfway around the world to assure an official of one of the most illiberal governments on earth that his company would do all it could to restrict communication?
Or was he just thinking about the bottom line, and when his flight out was?

ISLAMABAD: The Facebook management has assured Pakistan that it will remove fake accounts and explicit, hateful and provocative material that incites violence and terrorism.
The commitment was given by Vice President of Facebook Joel Kaplan who called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday.
Facebook has reiterated its commitment to keep the platform safe and promote values that are in congruence with its community standards.
It also committed to remove fake accounts, explicit, hateful and provocative material that incites violence and terrorism.
Giving details of the meeting, an interior ministry spokesman said that this is for the first time that a senior member of Facebook, dealing with Global Public Policy, has visited Pakistan to discuss a way forward towards addressing the issue of misuse of social media platforms.
The interior minister, the spokesperson said, has been playing a proactive role in engaging the internet service providers and finding solution to the issue of misuse of social media.
This also included convening of a special meeting of the ambassadors of the Muslim countries in March on a single-point agenda to discuss blasphemous content on social media and how to effectively raise voice of the entire Muslim world against the madness unleashed against Islam and holy personalities in the name of freedom of expression.
This was followed by a meeting of the minister with OIC secretary general in April on this issue.
The spokesperson said that while talking to the Facebook vice president, Nisar said that the entire Muslim Ummah was greatly disturbed and has serious concerns over the misuse of social media platforms to propagate blasphemous content.
“Nothing is more sacred to us than our religion and our holy personalities,” the minister observed.
He said that the government of Pakistan firmly believes in freedom of expression but cannot allow anyone to misuse social media for hurting religious sentiments or undertaking unlawful activities….

The most exposing information regarding the evils of Islam are coming from Facebook. People are trying to make one another aware of what they are really dealing with. Since facebook is going to try and censor its population. watch its numbers dwindle. The lefites are not happy when the truth is exposed. Nor do evil factions in this world enjoy it when they are revealed for what they truly are.
I strongly urge you to move to minds.com. Even if you don’t delete facebook, create an account on minds. It has 0 censorship! We can post any damn thing about islam. Anything.

Since no longer watching the ‘news’ seems to be in the blood, this is the only way you get any information. One needs to consider every comment or ‘statement’ and decide for themselves if it is a valid point. Some of the comments are not valid, some show a very superior knowledge and intelligence. This is where one needs to use their OWN mind….Communication… Not just texting, farcebook and such.

I have been wanting to change from facebook fro a while now, especially NOW that zuckerberg wants to step in and become a church. he actually said that facebook can become the like the church community. Now church groups are dropping membership along with many of thier parishoners. There are MANY people on my facebook page that I love ,adore and care very deeply about. They don’t have time to be s”shoppin” for a social media site like facebook to connect. Most of my family is on facebook and they like distantly from me. It hasbecome theonly way that I can know how they are doing. I think facebook will either be taken from zuckerberg or it will eventually fall flat just like myspace did.
I hope people leave “farcebook” in droves. Never thought it was a good idea to post that you washed your face when you got up…brushed (or didn’t) and told of every boring fact that one could possibly come up with. Never read stuff on farcebook!!!

Zuckerburg also wants to become his own cult. he has announced that Facebook can fill the roll of the church.
That being the case he will have to become a muslim, or, every muslim on face book will become an apostate, as they cannot be anything but muslims. The hypocrisy and lies of islam get more every day. face book is no better than the qur’an, a pack of lies. face book will become a tool of islam, even more than it is already.
I’m sure, as part of his becoming a muslim, he will offer up his wife for a FGM. Then, he will have to push her aside, since she will no longer be desirable, and find him a nice 10 year old to marry.
muslim divorces are cheap, fast, leaving no settlement or child custody issues, it is great for the male, the female, gets nothing, allowed to live, maybe.

I had a youtube channel for more than 3 years. Never any problem. Today, when I entered, I received a warning from youtube, that one of my videos has been removed because of hate speech.
What was in the video? – It was scenes of muslims filling up europe. That’s it.
So this was ‘hate speech’ because of which I got a strike. I promptly deleted my account then and there.
The noose is tightening folks. I shudder to think about our future generations. Sigh..

Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it. Though, we do have the 1st amendment, we also have capitalism, free enterprise, etc. Meaning, Facebook is a corporation. That corporation can control anything and everything diseminated on its public facing website. I dont like it either, but unfortunately, a lawsuit will prove fruitless

We have seen the enemy, and he is us” that is a fact. The problems with face book are well known, the solution is obvious, but like many other solutions to problems, is ignored. All that is necessary, is to stop using face book, period. No just checking it once a while or anything, shut it off. No business can survive without a product to sell, face book’s product is its users. As long as it has people on it, it will make money, when its prophets and profits are interfered with, changes will be made. turkey and germany very likely have given face book power, as it has money already. To get it under control, it must be deprived of the power it craves. Becoming a “religion” is quite profitable in the short run, but sooner or later there will be detractors and schisms.
Yes Mahou you are correct. I absolutely do not use FB and I do not open FB postings that I receive on my email. I just wish that more people would stop using it. My first thoughts on the lawsuit by Pamela over FB was that she stop using it. Maybe if she and Robert Spencer switched to Minds.Com it would trigger a movement away for FB.

Surely they will drop anti-Christian and anti-Jewish content as well. And statements against atheists, Unitarians, Moonies, TM people, Zoroastrians, Buddhists, existentialists, Kantians, agnostics, geologists, Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons, financiers, poor people, farmers, GMO manufacturers, dentists, doctors, tax collectors, ambulance drivers and EMT personnel, people with red hair, etc. But see, that is the wrong way to go. We want free speech. And we will not give up until we get free speech back from these giant ripoff artists, traitors, cowards, and know-nothings. My account on Facebook has been suspended numerous times. If you speak the truth about Islam, you are shut down. Islam is totalitarian, and it is not a religion. Zuckerberg needs to be taken down, and we need an alternative means of communicating the truth about Islam, whose goal it is to overwhelm us. Never Sharia! Islam should be banned in our country.
Recently Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that Shariah Law be banned in ALL US STATES. Texas also independently voted to ban shariah law. So thats good. Even I knew that and I live in England. This freedom of speech, 1st Amendment is enshrined in the constitution and therefore the suppression of free speech on Facebook, for whatever reason, is not legitimate and can be taken to court. We have no such law in Britain. If you criticise Islam then it is considered to be “Hate Speech” and you could be prosecuted, however it hasnt been imposed yet and is used as a scare tactic.

It doesn’t matter how vast and aggressively Facebook owner, Mark Zuckerberg, spreads evil throughout the world, impetuous users continue to fund and participate in it.
Why care when the money Mark makes off you isn’t coming directly out of your pocket. Right?
Subscribers of Facebook choose to ignore the truth, that if not for them, this evil probably wouldn’t exist as the dangerous monstrosity it is.
They don’t care because it instantaneously either fulfills an emotional need, or it’s a convenient and free way to advertise, sell, make business/political connections.
Many use it as a way to make income. And it has addictive games. (Games that take huge bites out of many a user’s pocketbooks)
So don’t ask a Facebook subscriber to search his soul and relinquish his account for another available form of human communication.
Millions of people have become addicted to instantaneous robotic connections to family, friends and other human beings.
Facebook offers users the world’s biggest stage to show off their body, their outfit, their family, their income even what they had for supper.
They gladly give up their privacy to enter a web where sleazeballs can and do use anonymity to deceive, molest, rob and destroy people in real life.
Subscribers don’t care that every single comment, picture and artistic creation they load is now the property of Facebook.
They don’t care that their information is being sold by Facebook to God only knows who, for God only knows what.
They don’t care that their every movement online is now being tracked.
Nor do they care that the government is storing their comments.
Most disturbing is they don’t care that Zuckerberg is filling the Facebook world with jihadis, illegal aliens, sexual deviants and child predators, with his company’s full protection, and given them special privileges.
That’s how he rolls. That’s who and what he serves.

I have to say that my perspective on Pakistan is influenced greatly by the Pakistani Muslims I know.
1. Pakistan is a lost cause.
2. Let all the nonMuslims out of Pakistan for their protection and really, as sad as it is, keep the Muslim ones inside Pakistan. They should be fixing those problems, personally, not running away. I know it’s a lot like bashing their heads against a brick wall but if they aren’t willing to sacrifice to enact changes to Islam such that it stops being dangerous to Muslims and nonMuslims alike, who will?
3. Let them ban freedom of speech and religion there, because until Islam is fully reformed, there’s really no point in trying to stop them from freaking out and going to war over these ideas. ONE DAY they’ll get so sick of the abusive, dangerous behavior of Islam that they’ll either abandon Islam or they’ll eliminate the violence it espouses, which includes these freedom of speech, conscience, choice, and religion elements.
In other words, save the innocent and let it go.

Zuckerberg is Jewish. It is amazing to me that an idiot like him can be on the wrong side of this Islamic issue. Jews in history have supported communism and other evils that turned against them. Soros is a Jew but he helped the Nazis kill his own people. Pamela Geller is a Jew but she is a warrior in this battle against Islamic evil. How Zuckerberg can do this when the Islamic hate is enshrined against Jews is beyond understanding. He’s a damn fool.

Finally, someone else recognizes the need to go after the media monopolies, starting with Facebook and Google, but also including the remaining media monopolies, such as WAPO, NYT, Minneapolis Star Tribune, etc. Where is our Republican President and Republican Congress. Facebook and Google = Big Brothers. One 1984 overlord is bad enough. Now there are two, cooperating in the suppression of the public’s desire for a cohesive society. Instead, these behemoths are now re-educating the public to cherish diversity and the disappearance of traditional Western people, countries and culture, with special appreciation of Islamic domination of the public sphere of influence. How is it that government has not seen the obvious danger of this mind control? Has the government been “bought” by this enormous and wealthy power group, behind the scenes?.

The truly bizarre thing is that Zuckerberg is a Jew. The first persons to be hanged, or beheaded, depending on what branch of the Jew hating Muslims gets them first, will be the Jews, including Zuckerberg. Maybe it’s time to do a copy of Facebook and make it completely free of influence by anyone.
