In the Capital of Montenegro, the Turkish Government Is Disseminating Thousands of Qurans

June 5, 2017. In a sign of how bad the times are in Europe, a NATO member country with a supposedly secular government that aspires to join the EU is sending ambassadors to promote Islam in European countries. In better times, such an overtly religious partisanship would never be tolerated by a European country. However, the Turkish republic has been hijacked by the Islamic parties after the Turkish constitution was changed in 1997 and the government of Montenegro was either bought off or has no stamina to stand up to this.

In the Capital of Montenegro The Turkish Government Is Disseminating Thousands of Qurans

Translated from “U Podgorici dijeljeni primjerci Kur’ana na bosanskom jeziku,” Sandzacke Novine, June 5, 2017:

The Secretariat for religious affairs at the Embassy of Turkey to the small European country of Montenegro in cooperation with the Islamic Community of Montenegro has mounted a campaign in the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica today to distribute the books of the Islamic holy book of Quran in the Bosnian language. Moreover, 250 vouchers for food in the stores have been given away to the needy families, it was reported by the Anatolian News Agency (AA).

At the opening ceremony for this event in the Montenegrin capital, the local imam in charge and the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Montenegro held a ceremony launching the public campaign. The campaign aims to distribute 4,000 books of the Quran throughout the country of Montenegro. The campaign is called “Let My Gift Be The Quran” and it will target families that celebrate the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

At the opening ceremony, the local imam in charge of Muslims in Montenegro, reis Fejzich, opined about Islam in the news and said that “We have the need to present Islam in the best light possible, and the best way to do that is through the Quran. Islam is under siege in today’s world and people with Muslim names out there are misrepresenting Islam. Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance, life and everything positive. It is important to read the Quran, to understand it and to implement it in everyday life”.

The ministry of religious affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey will work with the Islamic Community of Montenegro to distribute gift packages valued at 41 euros each for the Ramadan holiday.
