Trump had vowed to protect Christians in the Middle East from jihadis. So why is this happening? Probably rogue pro-Obama elements in ICE are punishing these courageous Christians for standing against the Sterling Heights. President Trump must not let this stand. He has to act, and act quickly.

Chaldean Christians in Sterling Heights have been fighting a mega-mosque proposed for a residential area where they live for more than a year. Now, up to 200 of their family members are set to be deported by the Trump administration.
Story continues below advertisementMore than 100 Iraqi Christians were rounded up Sunday evening in federal raids in Michigan and will soon be deported back to their native land, where they face an uncertain fate in a country where Christians are marked for death in a genocide carried out by ISIS and other Islamic groups.
The raids were conducted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE. The ICE agents showed up without warning at the homes of Chaldean Christians and at a popular restaurant called Ishtar’s in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Those detained were mostly legal residents of the U.S., some having spent the majority of their lives here, but have had felonies on their records.
Hundreds of Chaldeans were out protesting Monday evening at 15 Mile and Ryan in Sterling Heights.
Nahren Anweya, who emigrated to the U.S. with her family as a young girl and is now in her early 30s, said up to 200 were rounded up Sunday, most of them Chaldean or Assyrian Christians.
Video taken of the raids showed distraught families screaming and weeping.
“So, as you can see from video the family members were very confused. They didn’t know what is going on, and their families were beside themselves,” she told WND.

One man, Wisam, whose family is afraid to give his full name, is 49 and has been living in the U.S. legally since age 11. He served less than a year in prison for an assault conviction when he got into a fight at a bar when in his early 20s. He punched a man who was harassing his girlfriend.
“Wisam has lived here in Sterling Heights almost his entire life and had actually gotten into a brawl in a bar – there were four men who were verbally harassing his girlfriend,” explained Anweya, a spokeswoman for the Chaldean community in Michigan. “Because he struck first, he was the one charged. He served his time, and he’s been a hard-working, productive member of society ever since, but he never applied for citizenship, that was his mistake, and he was one of the people who was picked up yesterday.”
Anweya said ICE will not let Wisam speak with his family.
Like many Iraqi Christians, Nahren Anweya’s family fled Iraq in 1989 after being decimated by the Muslim community there. More came after the fall of Saddam Hussein made life even more difficult for Christians.
“They have attorneys filing motions to release him, but the DHS is not going to respond to a motion,” she said. “We hope that they do, but this is heart wrenching, a devastating situation.”
Chaldean Nation, a group that represents the Chaldean diaspora, tweeted Monday:
On Facebook, the organization posted a video and stated:
“In addition to facing a racist Sterling Heights Mayor Mike Taylor that wants to build a mega mosque, the persecuted Iraqi Christians are now facing heartless federal authorities that are forcing them to go back to Iraq to destroyed Chaldean towns and villages. Obama allowed Islamic cowards to destroy Iraq and Trump is finishing the job. HEARTLESS politicians that have no sense of reality.”
The Washington Examiner reported Monday that Trump is allowing 120,000 “DREAMers” to stay in the U.S. despite their illegal status, keeping in place the controversial Obama-era DACA program.
Nathan Kalasho, president of a Madison Heights-based Chaldean-centered charter school, said many of the Chaldeans like Wisam targeted for deportation back to Iraq are so Americanized they don’t even speak Arabic. He said the 100-plus people rounded up so far range in age from their mid-20s to 70. One woman is fighting cancer.
“Some people have been here for 40-plus years. A 40-plus year old was detained yesterday and has been here since he was 2 years old,” he said.
He said a majority of Michigan’s Chaldean community voted for Donald Trump in last year’s presidential election, thinking he would protect them and their family members left behind in the Middle East….

Who is responsible for being informed so this deportation doesn’t happen?
Why was ICE so energetic rounding up these Chaldean Christians but won’t touch Muslims? Or other illegals? Easy target? Well …. ?

How do we know that those being deported are Christians. It’s the first disguise they woulds use if they were Jihadists. People from those countries should not be let in at all until they can be properly vetted, regardless of religion…

Rob, I hate to put it this way, but the average American churchgoer doesn’t have a clue of what is happening under their noses in and out of church. The apostasy is virtually complete. Sound doctrine has been replaced with the vain philosophies of men. Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ – Yeshua HaMachiach have been ignored, denied and rejected Judgment is on the way, beginning at the Church.
We are shooting congressmen and excusing it away with “well, all he was – was a conservative, anyway.” Moral standards are shot.
Meanwhile, there are several posters on this or other threads who have provided contact information for petitions to the White House. That is a must, and it is a start.

It’s little different in Canada, although so far no politician has been shot. I am so disgusted. Christians in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Nigeria, Somalia, Kenya, Mali and Central African Republic have been savagely murdered by Muslims and yet it’s almost as if in gutless churches that discussion of Christians ‘brothers and sisters’ suffering is ‘verboten’. I think they think if might upset someone. I couldn’t care less if it does. In one church some time back a woman prayed and in it prayed for “our Muslim brothers and sisters”. I courteously spoke to her later and told her these wondrous Muslim “brothers and sisters” are daily murdering Christians. She was silent and no doubt regarded me a whacko. Everything you said applies. Standards have been rejected. It’s all feel good garbage and I often cannot be bothered attending church.

For whatever reason, President Trump is still playing nice with the Republican Party and can not be depended on to provide leadership for “nation wide precinct based” organization of the Trump/silent majority Movement.
Such organization, done door-to-door and assisted by social media, is the best and likely the only pathway to:
(1) effective counter jihad,
(2) greatest show of support for Pres. Trump (when he is right or is supporting the agenda that got him elected), and
(3) “commonsense constitutional conservative” victory in future primaries and general elections.

Such leadership does not have to come from Pres. Trump or a surrogate … it can and should come from a coalition of Pamela Geller and other like minded national counter jihad public figures.
Also such an organization should never become a corruptible political party or even have a pathway to be corrupted.

While Drifter and I may or may not be like minded on many political issues, his comment is what I call “PITS” (pie-in-the-sky), i.e., a statement of a desired condition with no existing way to get there and no suggested way to get there. I have 40 years experience in political party grassroots activity …. the last 25 years having been with the Republican Party.
My post above is a possible pathway for getting from “here” to “there” for much of the political “PITS” I see on the internet.
What are your thoughts?
Can you suggest a better path way to “commonsense constitutional conservatism” or any of the 3 goals I listed above?

Chaldeans are not arabs or muslims. Chaldeans are one of the oldest Christian communities on earth – they still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ.

Wonder how many greasy muslims were rounded up in a similar fashion in recent months. There is definitely more to this than just illegal round ups. Meanwhile, there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of illegals on the southwest border of the U.S. and they just keep coming in daily by the truckload.

These felonies were petty crimes. For example, one of the Christians was caught with a joint in his pocket years ago. He paid for his crime. Why would you deport him (legal resident) to ISIS?

Are you saying someone who rented a car but had someone else drive it should be deported to ISIS for his death sentence? Because one of the Chaldean Christian being deported did just that. I realize the rental company doesn’t allow this but seriously. Instead of ICE agents going after ILLEGALS or hardened criminals, they go after Christians to deport to ISIS. I’m sure these ICE agents are a bunch of libtards to get rid of Christians and import muslims.
