Brother of London jihad mass-murderer was paid by UK Govt to ‘fight extremism’
The brother of the man behind the brutal massacre of seven people in the London Bridge terror attack had actually been paid by police to fight extremism, despite it going on within his own home.
A jihadi is paid to “fight extremism,” but I am banned in the UK for my opposition to jihad.
Further proof of the fallacy and fantasy of failed counter “extremism” and “deradicalization” programs in the West. Epic failures.
First off, “extremism” is a silly word. Absurd. It is a measure of a thing. Is extremism in pursuit of the good a bad thing? Is extremism in pursuit of the truth a bad thing? Of love? Of justice?
The war is not against extremism. It is against jihad.
As long as Quranic texts and teachings are seen as legitimate and holy, Muslims will share them, preach them, and act on them, with or without the internet. What is May going to do, ban WhatsApp and Telegram, the dark web? She banned my colleagues and me, not jihad preachers or these Muslim terrorists who slaughtered Brits in the homeland. She equates those of us who oppose jihad (extremists) to the jihadis (extremists).
Of course their strategy isn’t working. It’s not reality based. It’s wishful nonsense.
Killer’s brother was PAID to fight extremism: Group that was given government funding to fight terrorism was set up at the London Bridge jihadi’s family home
- Murderer Khuram Butt’s older brother was paid to help anti-terror group
- Saad Butt, 29, worked with Prevent programme against extremist groups
- He was even paid for research on ‘young Muslims’ dissatisfaction with police’
- Meanwhile younger brother was plotting deadly attack without detection
- Father-of-two Khuram was investigated by officers but deemed ‘low priority’
- Questions raised over how security services missed so many red flags
By Joseph Curtis For Mailonline, 6 June 2017:
The brother of the man behind the brutal massacre of seven people in the London Bridge terror attack had actually been paid by police to fight extremism, despite it going on within his own home.
Saad Butt, 29, brother of murderer Khuram, 27, was involved in the Government’s ‘Prevent’ programme set up to counter extremist groups.
His actions are a far cry from his younger brother, who led the three-man death squad who went on a bloodthirsty stabbing frenzy in Borough Market on Saturday night, injuring a further 48 people.
The news has prompted further questions as to how authorities missed Khuram’s bloodthirsty plans when they worked so closely with one of his blood relatives.
He was even being investigated by anti-terror forces in 2015 but was deemed a ‘low priority’ with police saying there was ‘no evidence he was planning an attack’.
Today Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has also backed those asking how the killer ‘slipped through the net’.
