Italy has become the first country in the European Union to publicly renounce and announce intent to reject a resolution that disavows Israel’s sovereignty in Jerusalem.
The resolution has been backed by Palestinians.

The resolution was set for UNESCO vote on the same day Israelis were celebrating their Independence Day.
Italy had abstained from last year’s anti-Israel vote at UNESCO, while vowing that in the future, it would take a more proactive approach to defending the Jewish state.
And on Tuesday, Italy realized that vow.
UNESCO passed the resolution, regardless. But not by a major margin — and on that count, it’s being billed as a win for Israel — at least by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The low numbers in a UNESCO 22-10 vote disavowing Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem on the country’s birthday represent a diplomatic victory for Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
“With 23 countries abstaining and 3 absent altogether, the 58 board members gathered in Paris approved the resolution referred to as “occupied Palestine” with minority support. The UNESCO Executive Board is expected to ratify the resolution on Friday.
“‘The number of countries who support this absurd UNESCO resolution is getting smaller,’ Netanyahu told the diplomatic corps at an Independence Day reception.
“It’s a significant shift from the passage of Jerusalem resolutions last year, with 33 nations approving a controversial anti-Israel text in April and 24 voting for it in October.
“With a determined effort it will be possible to whittle that number down further, “because there is no need for these types of votes in the UN,” Netanyahu said.
“Speaking at the International Bible Quiz prior to the vote, Netanyahu said that there was no nation in the world to whom Jerusalem was more holy than to the Jewish people.
“‘I know that today there is a vote in UESCO that will try to deny that simple truth, we reject UNESCO,’ he said. Throughout Jewish history, he added, Jerusalem was ‘the heart of the people, the place to which everyone turned to, went to, and prayed toward.'”

Shame on Germany, they run a core culture of censorship for example about Amin Al-Husseini & hate on Israel.
Moral integrity & credibility matters & that’s why Israel is a great project not just in the region.

Germany does not disavow these people because most of them support the completion of Genocide against the Jewish people, why else would they kill 6 million jews, then bring in 6 million nazi muslims to finish the job? They can now claim it is the refugees and not real germans doing it and avoid looking like the bad guys they are.
Germanistan is coming soon, may their wives, sons, and daughters be sold for Fair Market Value to “moderate” muslims who only moderately rape, beat, and enslave them.

And italy is also the first country to not designate islam as an official religion. There could be more, but it is unlikely.Angola comes to mind.

I believe all the muslums have to do in Angola is exceed a minimum threshold in terms of population and they will be automatically recognized as a religion.

This is changing however as the Italian government is currently negotiating the terms of an official recognition of Islam after signing in February this year a preliminary agreement with Muslim authorities, who vowed to cooperate on security issues and make imams preach in Italian.

It seems like what the Germans (and most of Europe) did to the Jews, The Muslims will do to the Germans. The full article states that Sweden voted in favor of this absurd anti-Israel measure, and look what’s happening there! Keep it up Sweden, yours is coming very soon! Not that I ever thought much of that Ikea garbage, I urge everyone to boycott Ikea, Volvo and anything from Sweden!!!

It’s better not to buy anything from Ikea and if you have Ikea products, take them back and get a refund. Interestingly I just remembered the story about a Muslim being a Muslim at a Swedish Ikea:

Good for Italy, finally a western european nation is showing some leadership and honour. Every time the question of “How much more stupid can a united nations organization get” it comes up with a form of stupidity that boggles the mind. palestinians repeatedly prove they are garbage, even among muslims.

UNESCO is a political organization with a Muslim majority. No wonder they use it to their own purposes. It is a part of the Arabic propaganda system. They can vote for a resolution that the world is flat. And the earth is the center of the universe.

The entire UN, not just UNESCO, is dominated by Muslims. The 57-member OIC represents the largest UN voting bloc. Additionally, you have much of the Third World and plenty of Europeans who routinely support the OIC agenda and promote their worldview.

It would be a nice gesture by Italy to go into Jerusalem with troops and rebuild and restore the Temple after all these years. It’s never to late to say “I”m sorry”.

LOL. Maybe you could get them to pay reparations as well? I don’t know what the exchange rate between shekels and sestertia is though, maybe they could pay back Israel in asses (the value on which Roman currency was based).

The whole and basic truth about Jerusalem’s ownership, is engraved in Titus’s Arch in Rome.
This arch was built circa 82 AD by the Romans to honor General Titus conquering of Jerusalem.
The Menorah and the Arch of Covenant are engraved there in one wall, as they are paraded by soldiers in Rome.
