Betraying Campaign Promise, Refugee Admissions Will Explode in Coming Weeks

Stunning news: Trump State Department opens the flood gates, refugee admissions will explode in coming weeks

Posted by Ann Corcoran on May 27, 2017

Story continues below advertisement

Betraying the voters who elected Donald Trump, the Department of State slipped the news to the contractors on Thursday who then slipped the news to the New York Times just as you were packing up for the beach or getting ready for a family barbecue using the federal government’s favorite holiday weekend trick to bury the news.

Tillerson and Trump cave….

Forget everything I said in my post yesterday about Trump’s “average” admissions. If they do as they are now saying they will, Donald Trump will be responsible for one of six highest resettlement years since 9/11.***

U.S. Quietly Lifts Limit on Number of Refugees Allowed In

New York Times, May 27, 2017:

WASHINGTON — Despite repeated efforts by President Trump to curtail refugee resettlements, the State Department this week quietly lifted the department’s restriction on the number of refugees allowed to enter the United States.

The result could be a near doubling of refugees entering the country, from about 830 people a week in the first three weeks of this month to well over 1,500 people per week by next month, according to refugee advocates. Tens of thousands of refugees are waiting to come to the United States.

The State Department’s decision was conveyed in an email on Thursday to the private agencies in countries around the world that help refugees manage the nearly two-year application process needed to enter the United States.

In her email, Jennifer L. Smith, a department official, wrote that the refugee groups could begin bringing people to the United States “unconstrained by the weekly quotas that were in place.”

[….]

Refugee groups now predict that entries into the United States could increase so rapidly that the total number of refugees admitted by Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year, could exceed 70,000.

[….]

Refugee advocates were delighted by the State Department’s decision.

“This is long overdue, but we’re very happy,” said Mark Hetfield, president and chief executive of HIAS, an immigrant aid society.

Continue reading here as the contractors say they are worried for next year.  Oh, sure they are.

Bottomline is that it appears that the REPUBLICAN Congress (never forget they want to keep big business donors happy by providing a steady supply of cheap labor) appropriated gobs of money for refugee resettlement!

And, the Trump Administration (remember Trump campaigned with talk of a moratorium on refugee resettlement) appears to have no fight left in them on this issue (other issues too!).

***Here are the refugee admissions since 9/11. Bush had only 2 years in excess of 70,000 and Obama had 3 of his 8 years higher than 70,000.

2001: 87,259 (this year’s number would have been proposed by Clinton in the fall of 2000)

2002: 45,896

2003: 39,554

2004: 79,158

2005: 69,006

2007: 48,282

2008: 60,191

2009: 74,654

2011: 56,424

2012: 58,238

They know … man, I don’t like the words with that picture … I hope they never come to pass. But a lot of people seem to be making it a thing of the past …. What is it in human nature — so many — that they want to be controlled and be slaves? Or maybe it’s just they want zero responsibility for their lives, or the world.

They are just ignorant “useful idiots.” They have lived with freedom for so long that they have not idea what they are really doing. How many of them have ever traveled to Communist countries? Most do not even have sufficient education to know what Communism is.

This is just one little summary on American ignorance of history and government:

Strange – they don’t do those things in their own countries. ( Leastwise none of the several I’ve been in.) (OK – prayers are formal ritual done only a certain way, and they aren’t allowed to eat pork. But way off on the clothing, thinking , and “going”).

You are correct regarding the Australian deal, Steve. The 70,000 refugees, come from the Refugee act of 1980. If you do not like this, contact Congress, these are the people who pass these laws. Passed unanimously by the Senate in late 1979 and signed into law by President Jimmy Carter in early 1980, the Refugee Act of 1980 amended the earlier Immigration and Nationality Act and the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act. https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/resource/the-refugee-act

I live in hope that our politicians will start looking after us instead of virtue signalling and political correctness. Only a few are willing to state the problem of Islam and its hostile character and they are always howled down and silenced. The latest traitor, only a few days ago was our Director general of ASIO (one of our intelligence services) who categorically denied any link of terror to the refugee program but only an idiot could deny the fact that it is. Good luck to you in your struggle too.

True, but, the Trump administration has to follow laws that have been passed by Congress. “The Refugee Act of 1980: Problems and Congressional Concerns. The Refugee Act of 1980 was the most comprehensive U.S. law ever enacted concerning refugee admissions and resettlement. … Finally, the method and financing of resettlement assistance to refugees is likely to remain the subject of debate.”

Where’s that “evidence?” Christians are NOT being systematically excluded. That’s a myth. And, less than half (45%) of the refugees brought into this country so far this year have been muslims. That means the majority are non-muslims, including many, many thousands of Christians (Baptists, Catholics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Protestants, Jehovah’s Witnesses).

I case you’re new around here, it is against the U.S. Constitution to favor – or disfavor – any one religion over another. Period.

Actually it doesn’t say that. The 1st Amendment is ONLY to 1.) prevent the US govt from establishing a state religion, or 2.) mandating which religion citizens must adhere to. Any other interpretation clearly goes against the original intent. Furthermore statutory law provides the president with power to deny entry to any person(s) for any reason deemed to be in the interest of national security. The recent rulings by activist judges are absurd, and would not stand up to SCOTUS scrutiny.

But you are correct that Christians are not being purposefully excluded (as far as I can tell). The reason we aren’t seeing many Christians come through is because UNHCR is ONLY taking people from refugee camps and through their local contacts. Christians won’t go to these camps for fear of persecution by the Muslims that outnumber them significantly. So they are forced to find another way to escape, and UNHCR is not lifting a finger to try and locate those displaced persons that are not in the camps or other areas where they operate.

Michael Buley
Michael Buley

Reply to  SHOTGUN285

If the end result is that they can’t escape — the reasons are known, and continue; UNHCR makes no concessions to help Christians, and for fear of their lives, again, they cannot go that way — they’re not specifically being excluded. The end result is that they are.

Oh I wasn’t defending UNHCR. I find their entire program to be a farce, just talking about what it’s like on the ground there. I just got back from Lebanon a week ago. There aren’t nearly as many Syrians begging in the streets as their were 2 years ago, but it’s still a problem. People get bored in the camps and don’t want to stay, so they move to an urban center and hopefully find some kind of work, but many don’t and just live until their money runs out. They’d be better off if we put some effort into developing economic zones in Jordan and Lebanon rather then leave them in camps or begging on the streets. This would benefit both the displaced people as well as the host nations, who are struggling to absorb such a massive influx of people. This would also give them a leg up when the war dies down and they are ready to return home. Most of them don’t want to come to the US permanently, they just want their lives back.

most of us, all over the world, just want pretty basic and simple lives, for ourselves, and everyone else. thanks for the notes from the real front in Lebanon. I’ve never been to the Middle East. Is it a fair question to ask, ‘What do you think is really going on with all of this?’ You’ve been there, it sounds like quite a bit. Most of us haven’t. I’m sure seeing it in person, changes your perspective.

SHOTGUN285

The refugee problem is very tough, because Lebanon is a country of only about 4 million people, and to absorb over 1 million refugees is staggering. Imagine the US being flooded with 80 million refugees in a short span of time. That’s what it would be like.

Yes, i agree with you that most people just want to live and be able to care for their family in a safe environment, and most Lebanese people I’ve met are the same. I haven’t met many Syrians directly, but I expect that most are also the same, they just want safety and security.

A more durable solution needs to be found in the region, and that includes economic development for those that are displaced, to included education and training and startup initiatives that will help them build capital, a skill set, and provide safety and stability for the millions that will never make it to the US anyway. It would reduce the burden on the host nations and help give the refugees better opportunities when they decide to move home (assuming the conflict ends in a reasonable time of course). Some will possibly stay in their new location if they invest too much.

The current refugee resettlement program is unworkable in my opinion, and really doesn’t help the vast majority of displaced persons. The system is totally corrupted by the influence of several resettlement for profit groups, some thinly disguised and Christian groups trying to help people in need, but what they mostly do is lobby congress for more quotas, as more refugees translates to even more government funding. Then they dump the refugees in small towns you’ve never heard of, only give them a few months of support, and then the refugees are left with little hope of assimilating properly into their new home.

Also the UNHCR process is really shady at best. The US is forced to rely almost entirely upon the recommendations of the UN personnel, many of whom are local nationals, and the US doesn’t get an opportunity to determine who really screens these refugees. Most of it is based on a couple of short interviews, as most documentation has been destroyed. There are no police or other govt records that can be used to weed out dangerous people, and most decisions are based purely on the word of the refugee. Once they’ve been placed in the resettlement program to the US, they are on a very fast track to becoming US citizens, with very little actual vetting taking place in the entire process.

I also dislike the idea of “playing God”, which is in effect what we are doing. We help a handful of people while millions still suffer, yet the resettlement program seems to be the only program currently aimed at a durable solution. If there is something else going on I’d like to know about it. My opinion is that a better option would be to help the people where they are now, rather than on just plucking a lucky few as if it were a lottery.

The UNHCR program is supposed to be for those most at risk, but truthfully most of the refugees are not currently at serious risk of violence or death or illness, so to me resettlement of a few is not the answer. We need a durable solution that helps millions, not just a few thousand.

Nice, dispassionate overview.
I will only add that in my considerd opinion (I’ve lived and travelled in the M.E. for many years): This unfolding tragedy is the direct result of the USA “playing God” – in a region it had only a partial and distorted understanding of.

SHOTGUN285
SHOTGUN285

I would dispute that. This unfolding tragedy is the result of the Britain and France carving up the carcass of the Ottoman Empire at the end of WWI. Creating arbitrary borders and nations that suited their own economic interest rather than the realities on the ground. Couple that with the Soviet Union and their post WWII program of disinformation, spreading lies and hate about the US and Israel and “Zionists”, creating fake political movements like the PLO, and fake political leaders like Yassir Arafat (an egyptian with fake papers to make him appear to be palestinian), that is the real root cause of the problems in the ME today. We may have made some clumsy missteps in recent history, but this monster was born when the US was still an infant on the world stage.

The Anti-Establishment Clause of the First Amendment inherently prohibits the government from preferring any one religion over another or conversely discriminating against any one religion over another.

Regarding UNHCR and Christians, it is absolutely not correct that UNHCR is “only” resettling refugees from refugee camps. Most refugees in the world are not in refugee camps (the majority find their way to urban centers) and, once registered with UNHCR, those in camps and those not in camps are similarly considered for resettlement.

sorry i worded that poorly but if you look you’ll see i said only camps and through local contacts, by which I meant they have UNHCR offices in several locations. Also part of the issue is that if someone doesn’t register first as a refugee, then request resettlement, no one really reaches out to them as far as I know. Many are just trying to find odd jobs or living off savings or money sent from relatives abroad.

Yes, The first step for any refugee is to apply for refugee status which you can only get from the UNHCR who work at borders, in camps, in cities – wherever there are refugees.

It’s also very true that many, perhaps most refugees, struggle to survive, and less than 1% will ever be resettled. The UN tries to identify and recommend the most vulnerable and also those more likely to do well in resettlement. As many seem to forget, being a refugee sucks, it certainly is not something anyone chooses.

Gosh! You love to make so many sweeping assumptions and generalizations. Those circuit court judges angered me at first – too. Until more info trickled in – that Trump had made his intent clear in his campaign. The justices could not in good conscience ignore that – since he could not prove that the immigration ban was NOT religiously selective. Had he not made that campain promise (to cater to xenophobic voters) – there would have been no objection to it.

You need to get out more. The dems deliberately went judge shopping to find a few left-wing activist judges to play this game.

The EO did NOT specify a religion or race for discrimination, and including off the cuff remarks from the campaign trail as evidence is absurd. Even at that he talked about keeping out muslim “extremists” not all muslims, and the EO included provisions to waive the restriction on a case by case basis. This is just more absurdity from the insane left.

Campaign promise (paraphrased):”I’m going to halt Muslim immigration into the U.S.”. Follow up in office: “I’m going to keep my promise (Wink – Wink) but I will word my EO to suggest that I am NOT keeping my promise”.
Look! I still support Trump – if only because he kept Hilary out of the Oval Office. But I’ve been around long enough to recognize the tricks that men in power use on the public (and on themselves).
And besides: Trump has met with the Saudi King, and other Arab leaders, and (sharp as he is) – he may have picked up on some facts and thoughts that he wasn’t aware of previously. (Females aren’t the only ones capable if changing their minds when they allow their intelligence to overrule their emotions.)
Anyone that expects Trump to base his policies upon the preponderance of the hysterical comment on Facebook – are in line for a big disappointment.
One thing seems clear: Trump is not driven by hysterics – and his “legacy” likely won’t be the cataclysmic clash between Christianity and Islam that so much comment on here seems to be agitating for.

Of COURSE they did! (Was anything less expected?) Virtually daily I read items by well-known right-leaning commentators, observing that Trump is out-maneuvered by the ‘”insane left”. I no longer expose myself to the MSM – but even so – I still know more about what Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, etc. are saying – than I do What Trump is doing and saying. For that matter there is more comment on Mrs. Trump – that is of no political interest of any kind.

I’m not so sure that religion is included in that “for any reason”. So much comment about the Immigration Acts on here (and so much distortion) I read not only the acts – but the history of them. Seems that the first one was to allow the deportation of Chinese which had been encouraged to immigrate to build the western part of the railroad, and then allowed their deportation when they were “no longer needed”. The courts threw that out (after it was too late) and it had to be amended once and replaced twice.
Nationality/ Ethnicity was definitely off the table, so presumably religion was also – by default, perhaps. Nationals of countries we were at war with is a no-brainer. But since no war has (yet) been declared on Islam – Muslims can not just automatically be deemed a “threat”.
Contrary to popular assumptions, it was not an “easy call” – since Trump had announced his intentions during the campaign – and the court could not ignore that. The strategy to uphold the second EO was to have a plaintiff poised to challenge it within minutes of signing before a court that could be expected to uphold it. I haven’t seen any explanation why that failed.

SHOTGUN285
SHOTGUN285

When the act was written, it was presumably (by me anyway) pointed at groups, movements, organizations, etc, that were a distinct threat to national security. Going out on a limb I’m guessing it was aimed at communists. That being said, it’s also not hard to make the argument that Islam is not a religion as it is understood in the western sense. Islam controls all facets of society, including religion, commerce, sex, marriage, criminal justice, political leadership, etc. It is in fact a totalitarian socio-theocratic control mechanism, that is about as 1984 as you can get. I think Trump just had shitty lawyers. And regarding your assertion that countries we are at war with are a no-brainer, I agree, but again, he didn’t (in the EO) specify religious or ethnic groups, and the logic behind the EO was sound. Notice he did not ban people from every country with a muslim majority. Indonesia has the largest muslim population on earth, yet the ban did not include them. The truth is that the 7 countries named either 1.) had no reciprocal security agreement with the US to help identify and restrict potential threats, or 2.) simply had no effective security apparatus at all, that was even capable of cooperating with US authorities. Restricting entry from countries that are incapable or unwilling to provide security information for potential visitors is not even remotely unreasonable in any way.

I don’t agree that Islam is any more totalitarian than Christianity is. All those influences on government you mention are de-facto the same here except that it is retrained slightly by our constitution (that no other nation actually has). I hope I can make the point that were we overwhelmingly Hindu -for example – our political leadership, society, commerce, sex, marriage, and criminal justice would be quite different – even with the exact same constitution. Now our Christian majority are clamoring for even MORE influence – and I can’t imagine that any honest person could deny that convincingly. Hard won progress in civil and human rights is under attack – even tho they take nothing away from the Christian community. (“Because the Bible says so” – and NO other reason.) “Separation of church and state” has always been a myth until fairly recently. The myth is being reinstated.

You are correct that it is apples and oranges -each one certain that it is”best” – ignoring the context in which it probably is – and that neither is tranferrable to the context the other has proven best in.
Only the realities of today are important – regardless what events many centuries ago may have contributed to today’s reality.
Introducing a long-dead (Christian?) philosopher – who has nothing to contribute toward a viable solution – is merely a useless distraction.
Islam actually expanded easily into contiguous societies where it was needed and easily homogenized – and at at some point several centuries ago it merely contained itself into a comfortable, reliable, isolation.
With its aggressive, expansionist, urge – (which transcends continents and oceans) Christianity can not abide by that, and as we are seeing – does so both militarily and evangelically. Hence: What may be developing as a major, tragic, cultural clash is upon us.

It is true that very few Syrian Christians have come to the US as refugees, but the reason is not, as some would believe, some sort of evil plot to favor Muslims.

The simple fact is the war in Syria has created many, many times more Muslim refugees than Christians. In order to become a “refugee” – which is a specific legal status under international law – a person must do two things: cross an international border and register with UNHCR.

We know that before the war started, the population of Syria was between 5-10% Christian. Some live in areas unaffected by the war, some may have fled, but have not left the country and therefore are “internally displaced persons” not refugees. Some may have fled the country but managed to get to a safe haven on their own (many are with family and friends in Lebanon). I have met several Syrian christians in the US who got here on student or business visas and have applied for asylum in order to stay here.

For comparison, look at the numbers of Iraqi Christians who have been registered as refugees and resettled. Of all the Iraqis resettled in the US this fiscal year (since October 1, 2016), 72% were Muslims, which means 28% were non-Muslims, mostly Christians and Yazidis.

This data is constantly updated, you can check for yourself anytime on this website: http://ireports.wrapsnet.org/

So, despite what some may want to believe, there’s absolutely no evidence that the US or any other country involved in helping refugees has discriminated against Christians.

If you’re sincerely interested, take a look at this article: http://www.factcheck.org/2017/01/christian-refugees-unfairly-kept-out-of-u-s/

And sorry about the name calling.

There is no way to distinguish the Christians from the Muslims. Muslims practice takyya ALA lying. A Muslim can say that they converted to Christianity and are escaping the death penalty imposed by Islam. You will therefore have to place a time limit on how long they have to have been a “Christian” or find out how long they belonged to a church, which you cannot do (and we are not required to belong to churches), or you can test their knowledge of Christianity which would be a legal nightmare. No, you cannot accept ANY of them because there is no reliable way to tell the difference!

Obama did not have to distinguish them. Muslims KNEW by his use of the name Hussein that Obama was a Muslim; and they KNEW that he would give preference to them. So there was no reason for them to hide and pretend to be Christians.

But I assure you that if this country officially decides to give priority to Christians that many Muslims will practice taqiyya (just as Obama did when he claimed to be a Christian) and claim to be Christians in order to gain entry.

Contrary to what “know it all” mrbubble below has to say, and clearly does NOT KNOW, is that I was in Iran in December 2008 shortly after Obama became POTUS. When my Muslim hosts learned that Obama’s middle name was Hussein they all said “We did not know that he is a Muslim.” When I asked how did they conclude that he was a Muslim when he claimed to be a Christian, they all broke out in laughter and said (what I already knew) that his use of the name Hussein meant that he was a Muslim and that he is practicing taqiyya in claiming to be a Christian. That is what they do!!!! That is what is commanded in the Koran.

Well – since that wasn’t keeping everybody else on the “straight and narrow” – we will legislate morality and the state will have to enforce it.
That failed only because there wasn’t ENOUGH of it – and now you hope that Trump will “correct” it.

Oh, like Muslims don’t “love to watch and judge others”…give me a break. And yes, I do see this as a Muslim Inquisition. (If someone can’t recite a passage from the Koran, they get killed) I never approved of the Spanish Inquisition, either. Jesus NEVER taught to KILL those who don’t believe in Him. He INVITED people to “Come Unto Him”. He was NEVER about FORCE, and ALWAYS about FREE AGENCY. And Yes, People Can be Very Hypocritical. We’re All Human, and thus subject to Various Sins at Any Given Moment.
The Difference is that Some People will have Weak Moments, Trip Up, and Fail Miserably, yet they pick themselves up, assess what they did wrong, then Continue to Try to Improve, and Get Better. Others believe it to be too hard, so they give up, and fall away.

The comment I replied to was converts to Christianity, that Christians just naturally know each other, (and in that way would be recognized as a “False Brother”). I say it can’t work , failed before, and it would be a terrible humanitarian tragedy if it was tried again.
I only hope to encourage people to really THINK about the reality of what they say they want.
It isn’t useful to exaggerate occasional instances of extreme fundamental Sharia justice – as if it is happening everywhere every day – which it is NOT.
The headline topic is that more refugees from the M.E. are coming here. No need to repeat the boiler plate tirade about what you believe these refugees to be.
Supposedly announced by our State Department (if Facebook is credible) which is part of the Trump Administration and ultimately has to follow his policy – (no matter how many Obama moles and saboteurs remain there).

I think it is because most Christians are ignorant of Islam. Most do not know that the HSN in a name such as Hassan and Hussein ALWAYS means that you are a Muslim and a Muslim for life. ALL Muslims know that but Christians do not. His use of that name after the election was a signal to the Muslim world that he was one of them just like holding up his index finger. Most Christians do not understand that taqiyya is a command to blend into the Christian world and pretend to be one of them until you are ready to cut off their heads. It is so much against the teachings of Christianity that Christians find it incomprehensible that lying is a command in any religion, and of course they do not realize that Islam is not a religion at all but a murderous cult that seeks to dominate the world. Christians foolishly believe that Allah is just another name for our God and they refuse to believe anything else even when it is slapping them in the face.

Obama won the election in 2008 because most Christians could not tell that he was a Muslim and many suffered from “The 6th Sense” Syndrome as per the movie with Bruce Willis. “You see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear;” and most Christians want to see and hear that when someone from the Middle East says they are a Christian that it is the truth.

Ok, Mustafa, are you going to tell me that we are Wrong about the Goal of Muslims being to commit Jihad through Hijrah, and Taqiyya throughout the World, so that they can usher in Global Sharia Law? Because I keep seeing video after video of Muslims bold-facedly stating, to whatever cameras are in front of them, that This IS the True Purpose of Migrating All Over The World and OutBreeding the Original Occupants, so that they can outvote, and overcome them. I keep seeing article after article of Muslims entering Countries and refusing to assimilate into their host’s Cultures, while isolating themselves into “No Go Zones” where they practice their Sharia Law, and Harass anyone who enters these zones who aren’t of their Faith, and are observed breaking Sharia Law? Even in reading the History of Islam, we see the same pattern repeated Over and Over again. I’m not “trying to tell you anything” – since you seem to seek out sources of information that confirm your darkest fears and suspicions and gobble up all the garbage they have to offer.
One thing I can tell you for certain – tho: Is that “Hijrah” is the pilgrimage to to Mecca – and I can’t imagine that has anything with “taking over the world”. (You folks just find as many Arabic words as possible and throw them all out there to see if any of them stick.)
As for “out-breeding” Christians – maybe that reflects your priorities in life (and your work is cut out for you). Better start “spreading them” – while the “barbarians”are stll less than 2% of our population.
More to the point: Since you are so sure you have a life-threatining societal disease – what do you plan to do about it (besides gripe and call names).
Bragging that yours is so much better than theirs is – doesn’t seem to be getting any results.
Think you’re going to re-write the Constitution? (The Libs would be delighted to help you.) A little genocide – maybe? Excite a few lame-brain hot-heads to grab their guns and start shooting them? Burn all the mosques to the ground? (Careful there! Most of the jerks that have fire-bombed churches (NONE of them Muslims so far) were caught and sent to prison.)
Oh! I got it! Throw bacon on them, start hog farms next door to them, shoot them with bullets dipped in pig blood (No-wait! That’s murder – unless you can arrange an “open-season”on them.)
How’s about maybe convincing your government to start helping their countries -(instead of destroying them) – so they can stay where they belong? Reckon that might work?
Just WHAT are you going to do?

Mustafa, a few years ago, I was all in favor of “Multiculturalism”. I had the “Coexist” bumper sticker, etc. I STILL WISH we could just All Get Along! But in the past several years, I have learned things, seen, and heard things that are indicating to me that all of this is just not working out in a large scale situation. I have talked to Muslim Friends (Yes, I do have Dear Muslim Friends) who have explained things to me, that even THEY are worried about the Extremists who are coming over here, and RUINING Everything, even for THEM! They tell me that the goal of the Extremists is to Spread Islam all over the World. They’re the ones who told me about Hijrah being used as a means of conquering by immigration. Many of my Muslim friends came here, Years ago, to get away from “The Crazies” as they call the Extremists. They just wanted to live here, in Peace, work, raise their families, and just get along with their neighbors. They say that the “Crazies” won’t think TWICE about killing them right along with everyone else in a building that they intend to blow up. The Muslim victims will just be “Martyrs for their Cause”. Well, they don’t WANT to be Martyrs for “The Crazies'” cause. I have one friend who moved away from Texas because their son was being radicalized by some newer Muslims who had moved there. He says that he is even seeing some of that kind moving to where we live, now. I told him to report them if they get out of hand. He just looked sadly at me, and said, “No, You just don’t understand. It’s too dangerous for us to do that. Then they will Target Us.” And just for the record, I don’t try to wear the pants in my family. I married a good man, whom I love and respect, and have no problem trusting him with being the Head of our Household. However he treats me with equal respect as his Companion, and Helpmate. I’m all in favor of President Trump’s suggestion of providing Safety Areas in Muslim Lands for the refugees. I also can’t understand why the UN hasn’t put More Pressure on Muslim Countries to open their borders to receive their people. Some of them have received 0! Jordan has been Wonderful!

Thank You. I genuinely enjoyed and appreciated that comment. You certainly are taking a realistic view, which I share. I do not challenge anything you have stated.
I apologise for my observation on the reproduction issue – but the charge that “they breed like rabbits” (etc.) annoys me and I feel that it is a very unfair and one-sided complaint. I tend to respond perhaps overly-aggressively because of my frustration. (Don’t blame THEM for being fertile, virile, and family-oriented.)
You are correct about “hijrah”. I have been away and dis-associated for so long that I’m losing fluency due to dis-use.

Mustafa, I apologize for using an insulting phrase, but after reading that Imams are preaching to their people to outbreed their host nations, and to ‘breed children’ with Europeans to ‘conquer their countries’ and vows: ‘We will trample them underfoot, Allah willing’
(Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3240295/Imam-tells-Muslim-migrants-breed-children-Europeans-conquer-countries-vows-trample-underfoot-Allah-willing.html#ixzz4isy0BzJP)
When Turkey’s President said, back in March, encouraging his people to “breed more”, (Calling Turks the “future of Europe,” Turkey’s president on Friday implored his compatriots living on the Continent to have multiple children as an act of revenge against the West’s “injustices.”
“Go live in better neighborhoods. Drive the best cars. Live in the best houses,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday in the city of Eskisehir, while campaigning for a referendum that would solidify his power. “Make not three, but five children. Because you are the future of Europe. That will be the best response to the injustices against you.” Source: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/17/world/europe/erdogan-turkey-future-of-europe.html) It just upsets me, and makes me feel defensive, as well. I, as a Mormon, had WANTED to have at least 5 or 6 children, but due to high costs of living, here in America, for us Middle Incomers, my husband and I found that we couldn’t afford it. It makes me Very Resentful to see how MUCH is GIVEN to Refugees so that they CAN afford to have Multiple Children. If we had been given the SAME opportunities, We Americans COULD AFFORD to have More Children. As it is, now, BOTH of us MUST work, in order to save up for Colleges, Medical Bills, Decent, and Nutritious Food, Clothing, Transportation, etc. For the past Several Decades, Americans and Europeans have been practically Ordered to Limit our number of children to 2, maybe 3 because of “Overpopulation”. Now, they’re complaining that they MUST admit “people from Other Nations, who are “Better Breeders” because We, the Natives, aren’t Breeding Enough, and so there would, otherwise, be shortages of Employees for the future Generations! SHEESH! I feel LIED TO, DELIBERATELY DECEIVED, and MANIPULATED to serve someone ELSES’ AGENDAS.

I must admit that I am puzzled by all that. It is not uncommon to read a comment that (any given) country’s population is “in decline” – which justifies encouraging immigration to meet industrial (and retail marketing!) demand.
If it is true that Islamic religious leaders are telling their congregations to do this “breeding thing” – surely European leaders are aware of it? (You are – so how could they NOT be?)
Since there are SO MANY sources of manpower available that would be much more compatible in European society (many reasonably well-educated and terribly under-employed) in the Balkans, Africa, and Asia – who would love to emigrate to Europe – how can European continued acceptance of Muslims be explained?
Not to be provocative – but Catholics encouraged large families, too – fairly recently. Possibly for the same purpose?
Personally – all I have ever heard from Imams in the Muslim world – encouraged the congregation to limit their progeny to no more than they could support and raise properly. (And had members of the community that encouraged, explained, and provided contraception.) Sex is not in the least a “taboo” topic of conversation among Muslims.
Most “third world” countries actually have hordes of uncontrolled urchins that have no concern for religion at all – and by no means could be considered “assets” to Islam. I think that most tourists to the Muslim world would agree with me about that?
It was a struggle to insulate our kids from their influence. (We succeeded in one instance and failed in another – but that happens in traditional American families, too.) I understand that better now as an Atheist – than I did at the time – and all the Atheist families I know of have MUCH better reults.

I certainly know what you mean about it being a struggle to insulate your children from the “Urchin Mentality”. Especially when the Media touts them as the “Desirable Ones To Follow”. Despite my best efforts, my children have fallen under their Siren Calls. All I can do, at this point, is to continue to pray for them, and to “Leave The Light On”, so to speak, so that IF they ever do decide to seek for God, again, they’ll be able to see my Light through the Thick Smog.

Yes, indeed it is. And, Mustafa, I believe that it is all Deliberately Planned, at least this time around. I am of the Firm belief that there is a conspiracy to destroy America, and it’s Constitution, so that the North American Union can be created. In order to accomplish this goal, it is important to destroy the sense of unity, and patriotism to God and Country. (A house divided against itself, cannot stand) These Global Elitists wish to establish a New World Order where they get to be in power, and thus rule, and reign over what is left of us Pee Ons.(deliberately misspelled for emphasis) According to the Guidestones in Georgia, USA, the goal is to reduce the World’s population from Billions to Millions to make us more “Manageable”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones

More Muslim lies. You are very stupid sir. Jefferson had a Quran in his office, not for any inspiration from god, but simply because cockroach muslims, in tripoli, continued acts of piracy against the United States, for no reason. When Jefferson asked, “Why are you attacking us”?the muslim leaders answered: “Our Holy Quran tells us to war with you until you are subjugated and accept allah (satan), as your lord. That’s probably true, I bet he didn’t. But you my dear seem to confuse a delusional paranoid fantasy with reality. Where and when in the US has anything like that happened? In your mind doesn’t count.

And, even if it did, one sick individual – even one who claims to be doing something in the name of some god or other – doesn’t mean you indict and ban an entire religion. If so, we’d ban ALL religions because countless awful things have been done all over the world since the beginning of recorded history using religion as an excuse. Should we ban all protestant Germans because of WWII? What about Russians? What about Catholic Priests, some of them have done some pretty disgusting things. Hey, actually banning religion isn’t a bad idea.

Jesus warned that ravenous wolves would enter the fold, and he wasn’t kidding. But just because Politicians, and Militarians have infiltrated and infected Christianity doesn’t mean that Christianity, in its Pure Sense, is bad, and should be banned.

It certainly does not justify racism or bigotry.

BS. “Hussein” has special significance to Shiite Iranians, every Muslim you meet is not necessarily a devout (or even very well educated in Islam) one, and that was VERY wishful, pre-mature, (and imaginative) thinking at that point in time (before inauguration – even.)
Tell Me —- Was Obama such a “Muslim” – how do you account for the fact that he destroyed a stable, prosperous, Muslim country like Libya, where he gave the insurgents sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles, (Does “Benghazi” ring any bells?) and a “no-fly zone” to protect them ? Then incited a revolution in Syria against a popular, fairly-elected Assad – and made an alliance with ISIS to help.
Does that sound like something that a genuine Muslim would do to his “fellow Muslims”?

As I said I was inTehran in December 2008, shortly after Obama was declared POTUS and shortly after he began to use the name HUSSEIN. ALL of my hosts were Muslim and they ALL fell out in laughter when I told them that Obama claimed to be a Christian. They made a number of points to me including:
1. Once a Muslim, always a Muslim.
2. Hussein means that he is a Muslim.
3. His claim of Christianity is the practice of taqiyya. They all asked if knew what it meant and they explained it to be and then told me where to go to look it up independently, which I did.

There should be a complete moratorium on immigrants and/or refugees from Islamic countries. Immigrants and refugees that even other Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar won’t take in.

When the ANC took over South Africa and the murder and rape wave began, no country would take in South Africans as refugees. Also a media-blackout on the situation. Quite the double standard now.

Have I not explained to you that several years ago I finally admitted to myself that I really didn’t believe in Islam any more than I had believed in Christianity and that they are both empty frauds invented to control mens’ minds.
For a certainty I am fully Atheist – and since then it has been wonderful to be liberated from all that superstitious nonsense in my life. (One can not know what a burden it was – untill he is free of it. It is emotional slavery.)
The idea of religion and “submission” is just an imaginary illusion that some people need because they feel weak and alone – and also think thir lives are too “important” to really die. That is why the notion of “eternity” is so addictive that you are tricked into living a fairy tale expecting to get it.
Look at what is happening right now. People prepared to do terrible things to each other merely because they “believe” in slightly different versions of the same fairy tale (complete with evil monsters!) that controls them in different ways.
What a pointless, senseless, tragedy – that actually detracts from the human experience instead of enriching it.
Your “god”, your “allah” do not (can not) exist anywhere outside your imagination. Your “bible”, your “quran” are the only things that you can touch that “proves” that the fairy tale is “real”. PERFECT HOAX!

You may have stumbled across two important points there. #1 – The more Muslims are under our direct and immediate control – the easier it will be to send them to the gas-chambers. #2 – Expecting the Arabs to bear the burden of that guilt – hasn’t been the success that we expected it would be. (Nobody wants Jews – so force them onto the hapless Arabs in our colonies and “mandates” there. Very perceptive of you.)

Point 1.) We give you Musels more freedom in our countrys then you have in your own homecountry. We let you built Mosques in our countrys ( not like in your countrys who destoy churches and Synagoges ), we give you better healhcare and education then you have in your countrys and stupid as we are we give you parasites welfare-checks.
What we get ? Imams who preech that we have to be killed if we dont convert, arrogant Musel-as*holes who rape our children and womans and a primitve culture what is covered from the godless lefties as enrichment.
When I look at the statistics ( Musels who agree with Jihad ) then I think deportation or the Gas-chambers are the only solution to get back the peace that we have had before Musels are coming in our countrys.
Point 2.) The reason why “nobody” want the Jews is that Satan try´s to kill GOD word and his choosen people. No Jews – no GOD.
And Satan is successful when a phädophile merchant can be a prophet and create a society who rapes children.
Yes, it must be a burden for you to have Jews next to your countrys because it shows you what kind of primitive egoist you are
I dont want to say that all Jews are good , or all Musels are bad but Islam is Nazi-ideology. So

This is very interesting: The 1973 Yom Kippur war, yes? Saudi’s shut off the oil. Gas lines in America and Europe. Then, the Ause Oil as leverage to make deals on :”immigration” with Europe. And that’s who muslim immigration into Europe and America, increased exponentially. (fact). Fast forward to today. Trump had to have made a deal with the Saudis. very bad decision.

Why aren’t any of these Somalis, Afghans, Pakistanis, Libyans, or Iraqis ever resettled in Washington DC near the politicians who approve their arrival? Instead, they are resettled (AKA unleashed) in Farmtown, Iowa, Smalltown, Idaho, or somewhere in Minnesota.

Unless this is some more #FakeNews from the gutter rats at the NY Times, I’ll be the first to turn on Trump with both hands and both feet. During the campaign it was HE who promised to get all this under control which is what his supporters cheered him on.

I’ve been shaking my head over this one since I heard it yesterday … Can there be an actual explanation for this? was this part of the deal in the ME? “Get them out of your mosques” … and send them here? at least they’re contained when they’re in the ME … they’re not here! now?

I believe that this is ramped up fake news due to the actions of State Dep’t. official, Jennifer L. Smith, who opined nonsense about the new budget bill removing quotas on Muslim refugees coming to the US due to the money being available. Who and what she is will be revealed. She is not by any means the final word on this issue and is probably a nobama appointee. I quote from the above article: “The State Department’s decision was conveyed in an email on Thursday to the private agencies in countries around the world that help refugees manage the nearly two-year application process needed to enter the United States. In her email, Jennifer L. Smith, a department official, wrote that the refugee groups could begin bringing people to the United States “unconstrained by the weekly quotas that were in place.” We need to wait until the truth comes out and if this possibly/probably rogue communication to “private agencies” was authorized by Secretary Tillerson and President Trump. The left plays mind games and uses the bureaucrats imbedded in the Federal government to foster their evil .Has anyone seen or produced this email? Just who is Linda Smith and what is her position in the State Dep’t? This appears to be just like Comey’s memo. Don’t let the left try again to split us and turn on the Administration until we find out what is going on. “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.”

I fully agree but not only should they be resettled in DC the fence around the White House needs to be torn down and the security agents that limit entry into Congress need to assist entry into Congress.

Who knows? From the photos of them swarming accross borders in Europe and climbing fences they will tear down the physical barriers themselves.

Have you taken a taxi in DC lately? Many drivers are former refugees.

Also, the reason a lot of refugees are not resettled near DC or other large East Coast cities is simple: lack of affordable housing. No conspiracy, get over it.

I know how you feel, Michael. As you can see by the comments, your not the only one! I do nothing but read all day on this subject of islam, and muslims (since 9/11), and archive everything…videos, documents, and websites, and it sure keeps busy! Sometimes I miss eating, or don’t get the housework done, but I feel like I need to show people what’s going on the world, when they wonder. As for Trump, I’ve been very upset with him, since about a month after he was elected, and then all happiness, of all the things he promised to do, has flown out the window…and now this! One commentor, it could be “fake” news….so, I’m hoping it’s so, since I haven’t seen this news anywhere else…for now. But if it’s true, then I’ll be so mad, and sad, cause America will then be finished. It’s enough to make a person angry, so I’m with ya!

So much is riding on President Trump. He has to start fighting for us. Here
is one way he can.

I am proposing a weekly nationally televised broadcast of a round table
debate about the issues that are being used to tear this country apart. Black
Lives Matter, Alt-Right, Antifa, Gender Studies, Islam, Immigration, and so
forth. I am calling for a televised intellectual demolition derby that puts
names like Ta Neh Hesi Coats, Linda Sarsour, Nihad Awad, Colon Kaepernick, Mos
Def, etc. in collision with other names such as: Robert Spencer, Ben Shapiro,
Pamela Geller, Mark Steyn, and so forth.

Put the conservatives on, let Hannity moderate, take audience feedback, make
it a reality, performance debate show, it doesn’t matter. The formatting is a
detail. The important thing is that it blow the doors open, and get people
talking again, with a special emphasis on Islamophobia.

Trump is well positioned to do something like this. He has extensive media
contacts. He could fight for this. He has to give us something.

Let us fight back against the foreign financed psy-op called Islamophobia
with the truth.

The State Dept. is still full of Obama people, and they ignore Trump’s directives. Congress handed over their control over refugee admissions to the UN and the un-American State Dept. long ago. Now they bark a little bit now and then, but they have largely ceded their authority over to the NWO.

You are absolutely right. What can I say? He is all we got right now. I am hoping it is a case for his not having much room to maneuver, and that this will change over time. It could take him as long as six years to turn the ship of state around. But, in the meantime, here is something he could do. Even as a private citizen, he could do this. He has to do it. Otherwise, they are going to shut down the internet, fine us for hate speech, seize private property, and kill prominent “Islamophobes”. He has to start the process of exposing the lies like Islamophobia the way he exposed the media.

Will he do it? Who knows? I was warning people about this side of him early on. He needs to start helping us, and stop turning his back on good Americans like Pamela Geller.

Not surprising that he has also announced that funding for sex education in public schools will be cut off. I am not so sure about that. Diane Feinstein, the queen of gun control was mayor of San Francisco in the 80s. She introduced legislation to make SF a gun free city. But interestingly it was discovered that she owned and kept a loaded gun on her bed stand. She did not deny it but simply excused it because after all she was the mayor and thus needed more protection than the rest of us. I would not be surprised if she carried a gun in her purse now because after all she is a Senator and needs even more protection.

This is why the issue of Obama’s constitutional eligibility to be POTUS should have been settled. Had they pushed this issue we would not still be feeling the effects.

Certainly insufficient to work in whatever factories remain in the USA where a grade 8 education and English proficiency is required. In most cases, they are illiterate in their own language, not alone in English and are not employable. The ones who do meet some minimum requirement will not make good employees. Who wants to hire Muslims with all the baggage that goes with them anyhow? What? Why the Hell is Trump allowing this? This is a total betrayal. He had better stop this!

The 70,000 refugees, come from the Refugee act of 1980. If you do not like this, contact Congress, these are the people who pass these laws. “Passed unanimously by the Senate in late 1979 and signed into law by President Jimmy Carter in early 1980, the Refugee Act of 1980 amended the earlier Immigration and Nationality Act and the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act.” https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr

Thank God the liberals were not able to repeal the 2nd Amendment. It will be used to protect ourselves, our family, our community and our country.

I think the headline is misleading. Trump has betrayed nothing. Right now, he is battling the Obummer and globalist shills for us. I feel that, when his executive order on immigration reaches the Supreme Court, we will win it there. At least, I hope so.

I guess we haven’t had enough tragedies lately….I think all Muslims should go live in a majority muslim country. I don’t hate them, I just don’t think their beliefs mesh with the US Constitution.
