Trump in Crosshairs of Another Judge Who Gives OK for New Suit

A federal judge ruled President Donald Trump, while campaigning, may indeed have incited violence and that a lawsuit brought by three protesters can proceed to the next level.

Donald Trump delivers campaign remarks in Louisville, Kentucky.

The case stems from a March 2016 incident in Louisville, Kentucky, when Trump was delivering remarks and three protesters — two men and a woman — started shouting from the crowd.

Trump paused in his remarks to say, to nobody in particular, to “get them out.” He also said, “Don’t hurt them.”

A man in a gray suit, ostensibly working for Trump’s security or his campaign, then pressed the three through the crowd, a video of the scene showed. The three said they were pushed and punched by Trump supporters, as they were being escorted from the scene.

The three then turned around and sued Trump, alleging he incited violence when he said to “get them out” from his podium.

Trump’s legal team argued the case should be tossed on First Amendment, freedom of speech grounds. But Judge David Hale ruled the case can forward.

As the Hill reported:

“‘It is plausible that Trump’s direction to ‘get ’em out of here’ advocated the use of force. Unlike the statements at issue in the cases cited by the Trump Defendants, ‘get ’em out of here’ is stated in the imperative; it was an order, an instruction, a command,’ the judge wrote.”

I have no doubt that Obama supporters frequently thought there were many judges who needed to be removed from the bench because they were ignorant conservative Republicans. There was a certain wisdom to early-established traditions US of A that largely removed judges from political interference..

I suspect the prospect of a conservative judge succeeding Scalia is why Dems are digging in so hard against Gorsuch. It’s despicable, as Senators aren’t supposed to be vetting him on the basis of ideology- certainly Orrin Hatch has supported nominees whose ideology he opposed.

People on the right should get away from referring to thwarting the filibuster by calling it the “Harry Reid Rule”. Dems had no problem with it when they controlled the senate.

These black-robed tyrants aren’t ignorant. They know exactly what they’re doing – making it impossible for President Trump to BE the president of the United States, just as they wanted all along. A pox on ALL of them!

The decision should be appealed. The plaintiffs admitted to wanting to cause a disturbance.

No Izy, but am prepared to offer a small wager. I reckon that the next Euro atrocity will be carried out by folk from the Islamic persuasion. How is that for a bold fearless prediction! Call it a sixth sense or something, but I’d put the house on it.

It’s sad the state of the legal system today. These 3 bozo’s came to incite, and they get to sue.
Reminds me of the yiddish example of ‘chutzpah’, or gall. The guy who murders his parents and in court, asks for mercy because he’s an orphan.
Okay, not quite the same but same principle. How do three troublemakers, who wanted to instigate, get to posit a lawsuit where they were the cause.
Sad.

Breaking: New and Strong evidence of long-term spying on Trump, and unmasking names.

3 people could unmask names. Lynch, Brennan, and Rice. Cernocvich names Rice as the one who unmasked all the Trump staff communications. It went on for years, and it had nothing to do with Russia.. The White House used it as a massive dirt-digging exercise.
https://medium.com/@Cernovich/susan-rice-requested-unmasking-of-incoming-trump-administration-officials-30085b5cff16

Next Up: “What did Obama know and when did he know it?”
People will ask this, but I think it is a waste of time to try nailing Obama. He will play his usual games about, ‘knowing but not really knowing’ like he did with Benghazi. He is gone anyway.

A better option is to hold Obama responsible for the behaviors of his senior staff. He had no control over the White House, and what they did. He was an incompetent, dishonest, avoidant dissembler. None of the White House actions, including executive orders, can be attributed to Obama. His ‘pen and phone’ was an automatic signing machine, and someone else using the phone. There was no Obama in the White House.

Thanks for that Ray. I am aware that salvation is through Jesus. Pope Francis mystifies me,that’s for sure. I am not quite in agreeance that he is heretical though. My post was not meant to sound disparaging about the US or Trump, however the left are dividing the nation and not allowing Trump to enact his plan. It is a crying shame. I truly despair at what I see as the fall of civilisation and if America falls, we all fall. What do you make of Fatima?

It’s time that President Trump involves the Supreme Court, the highest Court in the USA and let them decide who has the legal and moral responsibility to make Laws and enforce Laws, to declare Presidential decrees for the protection of US citizen within and out-side of the USA. Of course he needs to wait until Judge Gorsuch is appointed.

the Supreme Court can also rule on any wayward judges of a lower Court :-), maybe even make a suggestion that such judge’s service may not be further required?

Hello all,
Below is an invitation from Hillsdale College to participate in a free course about America and the American Legal System and the American Constitution.
I urge you all to take this course and maybe support Hillsdale College financially. It is imperative that you all know what YOUR Country stands for, so you can defend YOUR Country against all the vermin that was allowed to foster and multiply in the last 20 years.
I am NOT an American, unfortunately. Support your Constitution and support your President, that will be the greatest President since President Lincoln or maybe even President Washington.

Just Google Hillsdale College, thanks.

Dear Fellow American,

Donald Trump’s election gave voice to the
growing conviction of many Americans that their elected officials had
strayed from their constitutional obligations—that they had been
derelict in allowing the destruction of limited government.

President Trump has identified a number of critical issues for our
country: eliminating regulations, cutting taxes, creating jobs,
enforcing immigration laws, and fixing healthcare. We will see if the
President can play a critical role in shaping policy in these areas.
Whether he is successful will have impact for generations to come.

But already there is much, and growing, resistance to what the President proposes be done.

This raises important questions: What is the extent and what are the
limits of presidential power in regard to public policy? What is the
proper relation of the president with the other two constitutional
branches? And what is his relation to the “fourth branch”—the enormous
federal bureaucracy?

Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Educate and inform the whole mass of the
people… They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our
liberty.”

In that spirit, I invite you to join Hillsdale College’s 10-session online course, “The Presidency and the Constitution.”
You’ll learn from our politics department faculty about the design of
the executive branch in Article II; how Progressives contrived new,
wide-ranging powers for the executive; and what it would take to restore
limited government.

The opportunity for constitutional renewal in America is greater than
it has been in decades. But it will require rededicated efforts by “We
the People” – the true and only sovereign source of authority under the
Constitution – to see this work through.

Register Now for Hillsdale College’s online course, “The Presidency and the Constitution.” There’s no charge to participate, and I know you will learn much that is valuable and useful.

Activate your free course now >>

Warm Regards,

Larry P. Arnn
