Police are hunting a second gunman following this evening’s deadly shooting in Paris – with officers believing he arrived in the city from Belgium by train.

SHOTS have been reported at a shopping centre in Paris around an hour after two police officers were shot dead by at least one gunman at Champs Elysees.

Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like gunfire near the location of the shooting earlier this evening.
Confusion surrounds exact details as police scramble to several locations across the French capital.
Reuters news agency have reported a second incident nearby the scene of the first shooting.
Earlier this evening two police officers were killed in Paris at a separate location in the heart of the capital of France.
One gunman was killed while another is believed to be on the run. Police have now raided the dead gunman’s home in the east of the city.
Witnesses said the pair had targeted a police vehicle parked at a red light using Kalashnikovs
