Jihadis Cheer as Trump Sends in Missiles in Syria

141

President Donald Trump’s order of dozens of missiles to strike a Syrian airbase may have the backing of military hawks in America.

But jihadist overseas are cheering as well — along with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. John McCain, two congressional leaders who aren’t exactly known as friends of the president.

Jihadists and terrorists, like the ones with the al-Qaeda-tied Nusra Front, are cheering President Donald Trump’s strikes on Syria.

From the Daily Caller:

Story continues below advertisement

“Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. John McCain cheered the Trump administration’s decision Thursday to strike the Assad regime, as did Syrian rebel groups which seek to impose Sharia law.

“Agence France-Presse (AFP) quoted a ‘key figure’ in the Army of Islam, or Jaysh al-Islam, as saying, ‘Hitting one airbase is not enough, there are 26 airbases that target civilians.’ The AFP article just identified Jaysh al-Islam as a rebel group and didn’t point out that the organization seeks to replace the Assad regime with a government ruled by Sharia law.

“MSNBC also reported that the rebels Ahrar al-Sham welcome US intervention through surgical strikes that would deter regime capabilities to kill civilians.’ The U.S. considers Ahrar al-Sham one of the most effective rebel groups in Syria, according to a report from Stanford University. The group also worked with ISIS until 2014, is sympathetic with Al-Qaeda, and seeks to create an Islamic state in Syria.”

Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, meanwhile, said the strikes on Syria would help al-Qaeda and other Islamic terror groups.

And that viewpoint was echoed by a fellow congressional member, across the partisan aisle.

Rep. Thomas Massie, Republican from Kentucky, said the strikes would “make the situation better for ISIS.”

Shia or Sunni, there are jihadists on BOTH sides. We should stay the hell out of there, but that doesn’t mean running scared from the Russians. That would be a HUGE mistake.

Assad had the opportunity, to go on the world stage, and deny the attack. But, he didn’t. So, we have to assume he authorized the attack. Not good

POS weasel Tim Kaine is calling Trump’s actions un-Constitutional.
Had Trump told Congress, the anti-American democrats would have called
Syria, just like they did all through Viet Nam, under Nixon, Panama, where the Panama
Military was lying in ambush for our troops. in Haiti, where the media was on the beach waiting for the
military to come ashore, and the Haitian rebels were waiting, etc., etc.
Heck, Ted Kennedy called Russia nearly everyday to rat out the U.S.
Trump MUST keep all actions secret from the Congress.
democrats are the enemy.

If Trump had not done anything the demoncruds would be claiming he had colluded with the russians by letting them off the hook. They’re just a no good destructionist bunch of leftists. Look at them – pelosi says she can’t get along with bush – referring to Trump, waters thinks putin invaded korea, and warren thinks she is an indian and bitches about equal pay while shorting women on her staff. Kaine is a hyperactive blabbermouth and schumer comes across as a cry baby.

The shadow government is deep for sure. There seems to be some patriots left on a hopeful note blowing the whistle on the likes of obama, rice, and others. And there’s been a load of firings at the state and doj.

Do a review on assad and then picture yourself living under him. He has used chemical weapons before on killing his people. Neither assad or isis are our friends but it was a good move to send a message to assad and to the mideastern region – particularly iran iraq and palestine and to russia as well. Russia has been playing coy but not doing its job as was agreed when it came to getting rid of assad’s chemical weapons. Isis has still been under attack by the US and will be gone soon very likely – at least in the region. The problem of assad is that if he isn’t dealt with there are more refugees and they go to the EU, the UK and the rest of the West – us.

I’m not interesting in answering your speculation article and hypothetical questions. You have some ideas but I see articles of survivors seeing bombs and suffering chemical injuries with others dead. I see different stories than what you present.

I do know assad’s record and that is evidence. He was not supposed to have chemical weapons according to the UN and the russians were supposed to get him to give them up. Assad is responsible for this tragedy for simply keeping them whether, as one poster states they were hit by a stray bomb, or he himself ordered the attack. You are just upset and are set on your line of argument and I understand you feel strongly about it. W’e’ll just have to agree to disagree. Its a bad situation all around and neither assad or isis is our enemy. Haley is showing the assertiveness that is above expectations and that is good to have someone in the UN like her.

you can’t answer those questions because you would have to say “no” to every question that’s if you answered them honestly. and they’re not hypothetical I’m asking for hard evidence, is it too much to ask for proof beyond the shadow of a doubt so we know we’re not being plunged into war over a lie before we end up in a war with another super power? any rational minded sane person would ask those questions. also you’re still accusing Assad of gassing his own people as if you had definitive proof he did so which you don’t, it’s based on pure assumption. what survivors do you see? is it one’s like CNN had on that everyone is gushing over because he’s praising Trump’s air strikes an they need that propganga to claim the moral high ground an make it appear Trump did the right thing when in reality this Syrian survivor that’s been circulating in conservative circles is a “former activist” Syrian rebel aka part of Lindsey Graham and John McCains moderate terrorist group that’s “gassed innocent people” cut the heads off young boys as young as 12 an are also known to be cannibals that the CIA has been training but you would never know that the way ppl are gushing over him especially conservatives, even Allan West shared the CNN interview on his twitter if you didn’t know any better you’d think this guy is a saint. and speaking of those rebels do you remember this from 3yrs ago https://youtu.be/EENxPIqK3k0 now asked yourself this why with no investigation no nothing we quickly jump to blaming Assad while the terrorist rebels are getting prime time on major news outlets playing the victim? haven’t we seen this movie before? the rebels have gassed ppl before why is it outside the realm of possibility that they’d do it again?

The new info states that the Syrians bombed an ISIS warehouse and gathering area. They were making homemade chemical bombs. The Syrians did not know it contained chemical weapons and believe there were just conventional weapons inside. The initial 2013 chemical bombs have been proven by the UN to be from the rebels and not the Syrian government. The whole thing is a giant false flag to keep the warmongers war machine ongoing. People have been saying that Assad has been protecting a Christian town from ISIS near there. Are these people gassed because they presented a threat? Were they too nearby the target intended? Who gave him the go ahead to use chemical weapons – especially when they “do not have any”? Or did another nearby entity make it look like it was a chem attack from Assad?
I have also heard that Trump gave them a free hand to fight Isis which ever way they needed to. So, then the deeds are done, and a little girl is put before cameras to tell Trump ‘thanks for avenging because my childhood was taken from me and many family”.
Hillary/Obama say Putin is our enemy but not say radical islamist terrorists. Hillary gave Putin the Uranium to increase economy to purchase oil needed and to leverage from Arabs whatever oil is necessary to provide for his people instead of regaining lands that have oil.
Hows that for “thinking”?

“or did another nearby entity make it look like it was a chem attack from Assad” yes that’s very plausible and that nearby entity would be the Syrian US backed rebels that gassed kids in 2013 and tried to blame Assad an the Syrian government in which after the UN conducted its investigation even they admitted there was no evidence that the Syria government had any involvement in the gas attacks but rather the US backed rebels aka terrorist were responsible for the sarin gas attacks. https://youtu.be/wsXad088Iqc so if they did it once why wouldn’t they do it again? as it makes perfect sense they would gas civilians again because they were getting beat to a pulp by Assad and Russian forces and was on the run. it makes absolutely no sense that Assad would do this and I haven’t been presented with a shred of evidence that he did. so once you piece the puzzle together it becomes clear this was a false flag by neocon warmongers to overthrow the Assad regime and establish their own.

Indeed – However it’s a secular country and a number I saw recently, is that around 68% of Syrians support Assad. That’s from a cross section of society. He’s one of the last, if not the last, SECULAR Arab leaders. Oh and by the way, Assad’s wife is Sunni. Most Syrians don’t think tribal, and/or sect. Only a small minority that were of the “Muslim Brotherhood” Ilk. It’s just asinine that we would throw our support behind Wahhabi Jihadists, who want to replace a modern secular Arab government with one supporting Sharia, a la Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that bastion of Human Rights and Justice.
Americans need to get educated on global politics, their government and less on celebrity culture. Hardly any have a clue as to what’s going on in their name!

“…It’s a secular country”. Then why did Wafa Sultan have to flee Syria after an Alawite cleric publicly pronounced a death fatwah on her for denouncing the rabid Jew hate found in all the holey books of islum?
Then why did Bashar’s father at some point disallow Jewish women from leaving Syria?
Then why did Syria invade Israel twice?
Then why did Syria shell northern Israeli settlements from the Golan Heights?
Is allah the above what you consider “secular”, or do you mean secular in a mendacious, muslum sense of the word?

LOL, exactly. The destruction of Syria’s relatively advanced military is only a good thing for Israel — as three, separate, allahu-ackbarian, Syrian invasions of Israel attest.

No, its been bad for Israel. Israel has had any # of attacks from the Rebels and ISIS for the last 4 years.
Muslims can kill each other all they want, nobody cares.

Assad has his military for one reason and it aint to go to battle against Israel.
It was for the last 6 years of Obama’s Jihadists and Assad, though has lost many is still winning

In the past it was. It was Bashar’s father who invaded Israel in ’73’ and probably in ’67’. It was Bashar’s father who was shelling northern Israel settlements from the Golan Heights before the Yom Kippur War.

Only retarded people would believe that ophthalmologist (eye doctor) Assad (who is married to Harvard-educated British woman) would use chemical weapons. THAT WOULD BE SUICIDE FOR HIM OBVIOUSLY. He’s been winning his war massively the past year and a half more and more, and chemical weapons wouldn’t even help in that. They would only INCREASE his enemies.

Nice speculation. Your all inclusive comment about other people’s beliefs about a thing and being retarded for it shows a bit of narrow mindedness. Implying absolute and never is a bit tricky especially when far removed from the actuality – or just careless.

Syria was never a friend to Israel (or the free world) and it was never secular — just ask Wafa Sultan, who still gets death threats from muslums right here in the USA.

Wasn’t Bashar Assad harboring Hezbollah?

Russia allowed Israel, many times, to bomb the same airbase as Trump. So?
Egypt was not a ‘friend’ and neither was Gaddafi. Does not mean that we are supposed to go around overthrowing govts.
Maybe they’ll come here and overthrow Trump. People would not like that, would they?

In case you hadn’t noticed (which is obvious), Trump did what he did and cared very little about who might be displeased. To try to figure out the jumbled pattern of diverse loyalties among the ragheads is like trying to unscramble the eggs in an omelet. Ever play a game of cutthroat pool? It is a close representation of that.

Terrorists in Syria are a threat to Israel sure, but not as much of a threat as a Syria w/armored divisions, artillery, squadrons of fighter aircraft and a working air defense network.

Trump threw missiles on Syria. Who said that the gases were used by Assad? No one wonders if perhaps the terrorists had a stock of gases that Syrian planes hit thinking it was an arsenal of bombs? Before bombing a sovereign nation you should make a serious check on real responsibility and do not rely on false flag. Why Trump doesn’t make a big voice with Saudi Arabia that bombards every day Yemenis causing dozens of deaths, especially children? Or children Yemenis are second-rate? I had a lot of faith in Trump, now my confidence is faltering

in 2013 it was established that the notorious gas attack was a move by the rebels terrorists trying to move America and Obama against Assad. The current situation is similar to that of 2013. only that Trump fell into the trap without even thinking about a false flag while Obama was stopped by Putin

Israel has bombed Hezbollah weapons stores in Syria numerous times, Hezbollah really is allegedly fighting ISIS, so this really would mean that, according to some idiotic logic, Israel is aiding ISIS.

Jut when ISIS is loosing ground and the US states “Let Syria Decide for Syria” Assad decides to gas his people? Then the US changes course ? This makes no sense especially given the sources for the chemical gas attack report.

How stupid would be a head of state to use gas bombs at such a moment when the jihadists
are losing and a peace process could be initiated at any time soon ?
Can’t you smell the latest false flag ?
Where is the proof that Assad ordered this stupid move ?
Why not wait for an independent investigation ?
Why repeat what happened in Irak ? Remember the story told by the young woman about little children been thrown out of incubators in Kowait . She turned out to be the daughter of a big shot from Irak who lived a peacefull life in the States and had never been to Irak or Kowait in her life, but was a good enough actress for the CIA stooges to drive public opinion same as now . Of course, the unspeakable lies of Colin Powell are all but forgotten .
Let’s just say that such vile propaganda brought about the death of a million Irakis !
That’s the design of the NWO and soon after Iran will be drawn into holocaust !
