“Committed jihadists” have been fighting against the Assad regime for some time. Now with these claims of a chemical attack, they have Trump fighting against the Assad regime. But given his background, Shajul Islam’s claims should be very, very carefully checked. Previous claims that Assad had launched chemical attacks turned out to be shaky at best.

A key witness to the alleged gas attack on Idlib, Syria, was tried in the UK for kidnapping journalists with a jihadist group.
Described in his Twitter profile as a “Medical doctor trained in the UK” and “Humanitarian aid worker”, Shajul Islam was a key eyewitness on the ground during the attack, offering himself for media video calls and uploading mobile phone footage of victims which was shared thousands of times.
Islam, from Stratford, East London, was interviewed by a number of mainstream broadcasters, including NBC News – but none notified viewers that he had previously been tried in the UK for terrorism offences, and struck off the medical register by the General Medical Council after a confidential tribunal.
Islam, described as a “committed jihadist” by foreign intelligence agency MI6, was tried for kidnapping John Cantlie and Jeroen Oerlemans, journalists from the UK and the Netherlands, while fighting with an Islamist group in northern Syria.
“When he told me he was an NHS doctor, I thought it was weird,” Cantlie told the Daily Mail in 2012.
“This is a man who has taken an oath to save people and help them, and here he is walking around with a Kalashnikov and preaching Shariah law. There are not any doctors who I know that do that.
“He clearly believed in what he was doing but to follow something to that extreme is the disturbing thing. He was visibly upset when the execution [of two other hostages] was called off.”
The case against Islam was dropped, however, when the prosecution was unable to call Cantlie or Oerlemans to testify against him.
“The case rests wholly on their evidence [and] the prosecution is unable to call the witnesses,” said Mark Dennis QC.
He did not elaborate on why this was at the time, but it later emerged that Cantlie had been kidnapped again, this time by Islamic State, along with U.S. journalist James Foley, making it impossible for him to testify.
Fellow captive Jeroen Oerlemans refused to appear for fear this would endanger Cantlie’s life.
Islam subsequently returned to Syria. Oerlemans was shot dead by Islamic State fighters in Libya in October 2016, and Foley was beheaded in an Islamic State propaganda video in 2014 – but Cantlie is believed to remain in captivity to this day….

It is now out that Bannon was against the airstrike in Syria, and advised the president not to do it, reminding him of his campaign promises. Guess who got into sn argument with Bannon about this and advised Trump to attack Syria…. JARED KUSHNER, Trump’s metrosexual son-in-law.

It’s possible thst ISIS set this up as a false flag operation. However, the air strike will keep the mullahs in Iran guessing about what Trump might do if they push too far.

Trump accomplished several things with the “reprisal” Tomahawk attack against Syria: 1) Sent a “message” that he’s not going to behave like Obama; 2) It was timely to conduct the strike when China’s president was visiting; 3) deflected much of the (bogus) attention away from the “Trump-Russia” cooperation and election interference. That being said, there’s no way that the Syrian govt committed that Sarin attack – there was no benefit in it for the Syrian government whatsoever. It did, however, accomplish exactly what the jihadists in Syria wanted (and they have plenty of such weapons, captured from the Syrian government and imported from Libya (thanks to Hitlery and Obama). The jihadists will gladly kill a few dozen innocent civilians in order to bring the (politically-expedient) “wrath” of the West upon Bashir Assad. I worked in Syria in the 1980s, and under Assad “the elder” Jews, Christians and Muslims could co-exist and work together in peace – but beware anyone who desired to cause trouble against the government.

The Daily Mail has removed an article about the US plan to organize a chemical attack in Syria
The British newspaper Daily Mail has removed from its website an article titled “the United States supported the plan to carry out a chemical attack in Syria and blame Assad regime”, published on 29 January 2013. About it reports RIA Novosti news Agency.
The author Louise Boyle. With reference to the correspondence of two senior employees of a private military company Britam Defence, she pointed out that the US government planned to organize the chemical attack, to strengthen the military actions of the international coalition in Syria, says the Agency.

The blame for the chemical attack was to be put on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, followed from the correspondence. It was also alleged that the scheme approved by Washington, it had to meet Syrian rebels in the money, which will come from Qatar.
E-mails cited by the publication, were shared with the filing of a Malaysian hacker who also obtained via an unprotected company server access a summary and copies of passports of its leaders.
On the night of 7 April, the US Navy has released 59 cruise missiles Tomohavk aerodrome “Sirat” in the Syrian province of HOMS. The attack was a response to the alleged use by the Syrian army of chemical weapons in Idlib.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the attacks on the United States aggression against a sovereign state and a violation of international law under false pretenses. The Russian foreign Ministry saidthat Syrian government forces did not use chemical weapons.
