It is so refreshing to see Trump and Spicer treat the enemedia as what it is: an enemy propaganda unit, not the privileged elite to which everyone must defer. This is most welcome and long overdue.

“‘It’s Not Your Press Briefing’: Spicer Chastises Reporter for Interrupting Others,” by Chandler Gill, Washington Free Beacon, March 20, 2017:

White House spokesman Sean Spicer reprimanded a reporter for interrupting another journalist during Monday’s press briefing….

“And then obviously there’s been discussion of Paul Manafort, who played a very limited role for a very limited amount of time, but beyond–” Spicer said before ABC’s Jonathan Karl tried to ask a question….

“Hey, Jonathan, hold on,” he said. “Can you stop interrupting other people’s questions?”

Karl continued trying to ask his question.

“Hey, Jonathan, somebody’s asking a question,” Spicer said.

“It’s not your press briefing,” he continued. “Julie’s asking a question. Please calm down.”

All journalists should pass mandatory civility courses before being allowed to claim that they are “journalists.”

Close but no cigar. In the USA we all have the constitutional protection of freedom of the press. We are all accredited journalists, some more respectable than others.

Freedom is a two way street, those exercising it are not allowed to impinge on other people’s freedom to exercise their rights.

But……. then they couldn’t become journalists, because civility is incompatible with journalism.

I love John Spicer! I’m waiting for the day when he tells a journalist, ‘That’s a stupid question. Next…’

He needs to do this every time the leftist media members do this. Call them out on all their stupid shenanigans they pull. Maybe Spicer can even start a “point” system where, if one of these idiots gets too many in a given press conference, they have to stand in the corner for five minutes. Oh, but that would violate their civil rights. Nevermind

Those in the “sin bin” must drop their pants and stand up when asking questions.

That is a very good idea. These reporters are fairly stupid, they would look as smart as they are.

That would be a good thing, there would be fewer there to ask stupid questions.

I like the point idea. Then he can put their names on a slam dunked waiting list for the next conference.

Slap down the lame stream media upside the head with a two handed sissy slap each and every time they get out of line. It is good to see the motor mouth zipper head “reporters” get told to sit down and shut up. Manners are important, they can be taught.

Yes… the “two-handed sissy slapping” is a good idea.

But if you want to speed training up, face slap ’em w/a flounder that’s been left unrefrigerated for a couple or three days.

A few instances of that and you’ll have no problem getting their attention.

It might even reinvigorate their relationship w/any local cats in their home neighborhood! ;~)❱

Slapped with a fish is a very good idea, Maybe take a line from the “Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner” and hang a dead chicken around the neck of offensive reporters.

Why not ban them?

Just give each one a number to hold up. Then the number will be called upon and that person can ax their question.
Then they turn in all the numbers after the press meeting and the then next time they can pick up the same number or a different one from pile.
If these are any conflicts with axing the question then the person causing the conflict is ejected from the press meeting until the next meeting is called.

The whole attitude is a free for all disrespectful got’cha atmosphere with a lot of these reporters. Spicer has my respect for handling and reminding the washingdumb privileged press corps there are some new players in town.

Well done, Mr Spicer. We are being lied to by the mainstream media. Censoship is a form of lying.

It tells you just about all you need to know about those at ABC (All Bloody Communists) that someone has to put them in their place. Thankfully Spicer has the balls to do so, unlike those milquetoasts he replaced.
